April 20th Update!

Alllll righteys, here's another few updates!

I'm glad to see that a lot of our members are picking up the pace and taking some of the needed characters! As well, I'm loving to see all the new members that are migrating over to the site from some other advertisement or on google or by request or whatever. Please, please, try to get as many people here as possible! The more members and the more lively the site is, the better!

There have been two new rules added, one in regards to advertising and the other in regards to OOC profanity towards others. I would have thought some of those would be obvious, but the first mentioned obviously wasn't and the second was brought up by something that happened on another site... Yeah. Let's just say someone was shooting their mouth off to me, a Global Mod, and if my assumptions were correct then it was also sent to one of the Administrators. This is just to keep it, well, the way it should be. That rule also applies to things such a racial slurs, jokes, or discrimination on the site. I will NOT tolerate that. Some of you members who read this will know why. For those of you that don't, well, it's best that you don't know. Please do not pester me about it, because I'm not fond of re-iterating it. If you know someone who was involved who will tell you, then perhaps ask, but don't hassle. 'kayz?

We're still in need of a few characters in regards to the plots, however. We still need someone to at least temporarily fill Kisame's spot, especially because there will be a MAJOR battle coming up on their way to Sunagakure! It would also be nice for someone to fill at least Kankuro's spot for a little while, or even permanently, as he does end up battling against Sasori a touch. The following important spots MUST BE FILLED:

~ Sabaku no Gaara [Currently applied by Marc; thanks a lot, Marc!]
~ Maito Gai [Currently temped by Mike, but can be filled anytime.]
~ Rock Lee [To finish off Team Gai; currently fully open and NEEDED. We can't do part of the plot without him!]
~ Kankuro [Can possibly be temped for a little while until he is down and out by Sasori's poison, perhaps.]
~ Chiyo [In order to run the Sakura + Chiyo vs Sasori fight! Can also be temped!]
~ Hoshigaki Kisame [This is for the battle with Team Gai, and it will be to play his impersonator and not the actual character.]
~ Uchiha Itachi [Along with Kisame, in order to fill all of the Akatsuki spots. This way we can have an Akatsuki meeting sometime!]
~ Sai [He will be needed for Team Kakashi sometime later.]
~ Yamato / Tenzou [Also needed for Team Kakashi later.]
~ Orochimaru [For both our lonely Sasuke and for the same plot as Yamato and Sai.]
~ Kabuto " "

The following would be nice, but can possibly be NPCed by either myself or someone else.

~ Nii Yugito [She's the Nibi, after all; the Zombie Twins will have to fetch her sometime, surely.]
~ Sarutobi Asuma [For later, with the Hidan-Asuma fight and the Fire Temple plot.]
~ Shikamaru Nara [for the same plot as Asuma]
~ Hagane Kotetsu " " [Can be NPCed]
~ Kamizuki Izumo " " [Can be NPCed]

Please help to fill some of these spots! I would love it if either new members or old members - if you don't have too many characters taken already [you know who you are, guys] - would take up these spots! The more, the better!

Also, we may want to run a Chuunin exams sometime in the meanwhile. I'm sure Naruto would like to be a Chuunin like the rest of the Rookie Nine, as well as perhaps any originals sitting out there [which amazingly isn't many. ]

Here's just another teensy little update from the staff!

Firstly, I'd like to welcome MONSUN onto the staff! I feel that with the growing number of members I'm going to need a couple extra hands handling everything, and I felt she was sufficient enough to take on a Moderator spot. As you might've noticed she's helped you out even though she wasn't staff, and tried in her very best way to do so! Please congratulate her if you get the time -wink-

Hmm, that's really all I can think of. Note that the spotlights are going to close probably this Friday, as they've been open since about then [before the redo that had to be done, anyways]. Congrats to all those participating, but PLEASE SEND ME QUOTES!! I don't have near enough quotes for anything; I've only been given three so far, and by three different people, too! Remember that it can't be your own character, and it has to be something one of the characters said IC! If I can't get a winner for that by tomorrow at 4:30 PM MY TIME [just follow the time on the cbox if you don't now; my timezone is -6 GMT Central.
