Ino awoke as the sun from her window hit her face, the only time she ever needed her alarm clock was when winter came, when the sun came out later. Pulling back the sheets, she rushed to the bathroom and quickly changed before her father could rush her out.
It took her a good half hour to change and finish her hair before she could even consider going outside. Running down the stairs she rushed out the door to wards the flower shop, which was only next to their home.
Ino turned the 'open' sign as she walked in, a small yawn escaping her mouth as she grabbed the yellow apron from the side. "Its...seven thirty." Ino mumbled looking to wards the clock, it was a good job she hadn't told Kiba to come at seven, he would have been left outside waiting for awhile.
' What to do in thirty minutes Instead of sitting down looking bored like usual, she decided to water some plants. Before pouring the water, Ino delicately lifted the petals, not wanting them to be weighed down by the water.

Kiba heard his alarm clock go off at a quarter past seven and simply sat up and yawned, rubbing his eyes and groaning as the sunlight smacked him in the face. "Ughhh...A day working with flowers, how great will this be?" He groaned, laying back for another couple minutes. After debating getting out of bed, Kiba thought about Ino's fist and sighed.
"Alright, whatever..." He growled, jumping from bed with help from Akamaru prodding him with his cold nose. "No, I'm up...cold!!!" Kiba cried, stumbling around and pulling on a black shirt with the Inuzuka fang symbol on the front and the saying, "Bad to the bone" on the back.
After spiking his crazy hair up and pulling on his headband, Kiba rushed out of the house with his jacket in hand, pulling it on as he approached the shop, surprisingly about ten minutes early. "Heh...working hard or hardly working blondie?" Kiba joked, beginning his evil jokes.
"I'm here...So yeah..." Kiba growled. "What do you want me to do?" He asked, pulling off his jacket. [/color] |

Gently placing the watering can down upon the floor, somewhere no one could trip over it, meaning Kiba. Every so often Ino found herself looking at the clock at each minute that passed. "Agh, this is going to Drag" She admitted out loud before moving back behind the counter.
Ino was about to close her eyes for a second, hopefully having a small nap will make the time go past faster. It was only a few seconds before she herd his voice ring out throughout the shop. If his voice wasn't so damn familiar to her now, she would of known it was him by the remark. "For that, I'm making you work really hard" She smirked, letting out a loud yawn.
"Okay firstly, There is about five bags of soil outside that needs to be moved inside" Ino turned to her nails and extended out her hand. " And after that I want to move these pots of flower's to the opposite side of the room, might leave more space to maneuver around"

Kiba sighed and shook his head, throwing off his jacket and handing it to Ino as she ordered him to carry out the jobs. "Alright, I'll jump right on that..." He said, chuckling and shaking his head as he headed outside to get the bags of soil. "Heh, that sounds easy enough..." He thought to himself, just before seeing the actual bags, as they were huge. "Aw crap..."
This was going to take a little while...by the looks of the huge bags of potting soil. "Errrggghhh...Where's Akamaru when you need him?" Kiba growled to himself, thinking of the huge dog sleeping at the moment, as he knew there would be no place for him at the shop. "Alright...here goes nothing..." Kiba groaned, bending down to pick up the huge bags. The Inuzuka struggled a little with the task, simply due to the bulkiness of the sacks. He worked on this tedious task for nearly 30 minutes, dragging the 5 bags of soil from behind the shop to inside the store room, and walked slowly out to the front of the store to see what Ino meant with the pots, having to wipe sweat off his brow already.
"Alright, explain this next thing to me Ino, because I'm not seeing what you mean about more space to move around..." Kiba asked, not about to let Ino fall asleep on him, and yet...hoping not too many people would spot him in here...especially if Ino made him wear an apron!!
Thank goodness neither thing had happened yet....

Ino peeled the corner of an old magazine and began to flick through the pages, boring, boring...boring It was now that she appreciated Kiba being forced to help, it gave her more her time, and would save her from getting her nails dirty. Once Kiba had finished the soil she turned to wards the bulky china plant pot filled with soil and her favorite flowers. cosmos.
"Could you move this pot over to wards the door, just so i can move around the counter easier." Inos spoke slowly in a mocking way, he may be helping her out but that wouldn't stop her from saying a few remarks here or there.
"Oh and, you need this" Ino threw Kiba a yellow apron, matching her own. "Then we can match!" She spoke with fake enthusiasm.

"Oh no...anything but that!!" Kiba thought to himself, catching it and slowly tying the apron on with a sigh. "Alright...I'll move the pot closer to the door." Kiba said with a frown. The Inuzuka boy was grumbling lowly and carefully picked the pot up to transport it to a small table closer to the front window and door. "Will that work?" Kiba asked, his eye twitching slightly as he watched her flip through a magazine.
"What the heck are those things anyway? Don't you have enough soil in there, that thing weighed a ton..." Kiba growled, trying to pry her out of her magazine. "I'm surprised you don't have any music or anything going...you're just reading a magazine looking all depressed while I bust my butt." Kiba growled.
"Don't be a negative Nancy...thats my job..." Kiba said jokingly.

Ino glanced back up from her magazine to wards kiba as he slowly tied the apron around his waist. "suits you" she smiled playfully, Sliding around the counter she walked to wards kiba and the pot he justed moved before frowning. "i think it looked better where it was" She turned to wards the side and laughed quietly to herself. " Move it back"
Ino had planned the day with mindless tasks that she could have Kiba do, just to tire him out but watching him, she found herself bored. "Well the bag's of soil are kept just as a backup if we receive a new shipment of flowers or well if we are running low. " Ino then turned to wards the large china pot and smiled warmly. "And the reason why that pot is so heavy is because those flower's need alot of room for there roots to grow, so we keep them in a larger pot with more soil"
As Ino spoke she couldn't help but think that Kiba wasn't really paying attention, but she refused to finish, flower's were her passion. "And this flower..." Ino walked over to the counter and picked up a small pot of purple flowers. "This is lavender, it doesn't need alot of room to grow and is used in perfumes. " she smiled pushing it alittle closer to him so he could take in the scent.

"What?!?" Kiba cried, not believing what Ino had just told him to do. "But I...you just told me to..." He grumbled. Sighing lightly, Kiba muttered under his breath lightly as he moved the heavy pot back to its original spot.
"God, you'd think they were taking root at the very bottom of the pot." Kiba growled, stretching arms out again as he finished the mindless task. Kiba didn't know that Ino was going on her rant about other flowers and was bombarded by the sweet smell of Lavender which was put in his face.
"Those smell pretty nice...I could remember that one." Kiba whispered to himself. "So, Purple, small and smells nice...thats Lavender." He muttered. Things wouldn't be near as bad if he learned stuff like this. "Well...its slow right now, you could show me some more you know..."

Ino smiled sweetly, placing the lavender back upon the counter table. She was happy Kiba wanted to hear what flowers were what and she was happy to teach him them, and it was true, it was still early in the morning, the shop never really got busy until late afternoon till evening. Moving to wards another pot in the far counter she gently stroked it's petal. "This is a Calla Lily, it mainly symbolizes innocence or rebirth" Ino kneeled down and moved the flowers to a nicer arrangement.
"But the flower that sells the most is the red rose, mainly because it associated with love, but different colored roses mean different things, like yellow means friendship" Ino nodded to wards the assortment of roses just outside the shop, instead of putting them in pots like the other's they were left to grow naturally outside.
Rushing around the shop in excitement she gently picked up a white Chrysanthemum and walked up to wards Kiba with a playful grin. "And this is a Chrysanthemum" Ino placed it in his hair and giggled. "Don't you look cute"

Stopping into the Yamanaka Flower shop had became a weekly thing for Hana. She liked to display the colorful flowers all over the clinic, for people and their pets. Plus she felt that they brighten up the day for her when things was not always going for the best. She looked down to the siblings who she normally made to stay outside because how playful they can get. ”Boys stay out here.” She said in her warning tone for them. They listened to her tho when she said it in that tone.
She walked inside and looked over to the counter expecting to find Ino behind the counter but there was no one there. She took another glance around the shop only to see Ino standing beside someone. She tilted her head slightly until she finally realized who it was. It was none other than her little brother Kiba, standing with a yellow apron on and a flower in his head. Her insides screamed to laugh at the sight, but the only thing she could do was placed her hand over her mouth from keeping from laughing her head off. She wrapped her arm around her stomach slightly. She just didn't know what to say at this time. |

Kiba listened and tried to take in the examples that Ino was showing him, memorizing them one way or another. "A Calla Lilly...hmm...Innocence or rebirth, thats kinda cool." He muttered. The Inuzuka then laughed lightly as she explained Roses, "I think I know what a Rose is Ino...I've seen a lot of different colored ones.."
Kiba laughed lightly the moment Ino put the flower in his hair however. "A Chrysantha-wha?!?" He asked, chuckling lightly. Kiba had no idea that Hana had even set foot in the door until he caught a familiar scent. "H-Hana?!?" Kiba cried. The color drained from his face, making his markings stand out more. The poor boy was frozen to the spot and stood shocked, the flower still on his head and gaping gasp on his face.
"Uhh..ummm..." He muttered, unable to put any words together at the moment.

Hana wasn't sure how to take her brother at the moment. At of all the things that she had seen him do this took the cake. She felt her sides about to burst with laughter but some how swallowed it down at the moment. She looked over to Ino once the girl finally realized why the shocked boy said Hana. She waved slightly to Ino, her other hand was still around her stomache has she settled herself down at the moment.
Once thee urge to laugh at Kiba was under control she smiled friendly at Ino, not addressing Kiba just yet. "All right girl, I must know how you got my little brother in a apron and having a flower in his mouth. I mean, the most I have ever seen him do with a flower is allow Akamaru to chew up the ones in the house or the onces in the clinic."
Now the twenty-one year old's eyes turned to Kiba. She had that smirk about her, this was something that he was going to beg her to keep from everyone. She was going to enjoy every minute that she could weasel out of him. "That is a really good look for you brother, to bad I don't have a camara with me to take a picture." She was dead serious about the picture at the moment. She even forgot exactly why she came in here at the moment. |

This had to be the worst thing to happen to Kiba, it was so humiliating...but he knew he had to be cool or he'd hurt Ino at the same time. "Hey now, its not the first time i've had an apron on." Kiba muttered. "You usually make me wear one when I cook, though I have no idea why...." He muttered.
Kiba was going to keep the begging to the minimum at this point, although she technically could do much with this dirt anyhow, since Hana herself just admitted to having no camera. Now it was just explaining the flower in his hair. "Come on Sis, Ino was just explaining some flowers to me." He said softly. "This ones a Chrysanthemum..." Kiba said proudly, pulling the flower from his hair.
Kiba smirked smartly at Hana, almost if he knew she couldn't do much to him...

Ino watched between the two, instead of butting in and ruining the nice family moment she decided to sit back and watch. Ino turned to Hana and smirked. "Kiba is a sucker for blondes" was all she replied before laughing playfully remembering how she got him bad in the woods. Taking a small step back from the two she looked over to see Kiba reaction to all this.
At first he seemed tense and somewhat frightened now he seemed more relaxed, this only made ino think he was planning or figuring out something, she preferred it when he was in his humiliated state, it was much funnier to watch.
"Oh wow, you remembered!!" Ino jumped up in excitement while looking to wards the flower he now held, she didn't actually think he was listening to her as she went on and on about flowers, but seeing that some information sank into his thick skull made her day.
