Getting together (Inuzuka Hana)

[Tadeo Takasaki]

Rushing around his small, yet homey apartment, Tadeo rushed around, picking up his dirty clothes and throwing them in the hamper. "Aw Crap..." He groaned, seeing pizza boxes littering his kitchen.

Sure he had moved out of his parent's house a couple of months ago, but he was still getting the hang of this living on his own thing, and this was his bachelor pad. The moment Hana talked to him and asked to see him however, his instincts kicked in and he couldn't deny her.

Tadeo quickly dismantled the boxes and disposed of them, showing a perfectly clean kitchen table. "Alright...now I'd better dust a bit." He muttered lowly. This was the most work he had done with this place, but it was starting to look promising for visitors at this point as he ran around like a chicken with its head cut off.

"Ok...lets see now...Kitchen is clean, bathroom is presentable, living room is livable and bedroom is clean..." He muttered to himself, having planned out a decent night for Hana and he. After he was sure everything was straight, Tadeo did what he normally did when he was nervous, plopping down on his sofa lazily, nearly napping until he heard any sign of life outside.

[Inuzuka Hana]

Hana had gotten off work about maybe an hour ago, she had returned to her house to get cleaned up. She was never the one to be dirty, she couldn't stand it, call it the medic that laid within her but she felt being dirty was mainly for her brother and mother who seemed to not mind it at all. She even been known around the clinic to pick up even it the room wasn't dirty at all. That was just how Hana was with the clinic, her room, her three dogs, and herself.

Earlier that day she had went to the flower shop to pick up some flowers for the clinic where she found some interesting news out that she did want to share with Tadeo for some reason. She knew that Kiba was avoiding her for the moment and that really didn't seem to bother her has much had it used to when the kid didn't pay attention to her, heck now she was kinda sneaking off when he was around just to get a moments break from her kid brother, if she could she might have rang his neck if she could.

Teiro barked slightly and ran a head of Hana, Teashi, and Arashi who seemed to catch up to the other dog rather quickly. Teashi yawned slightly and remained at Hana's side where he felt his position was at the moment. He was the brother that took the most to accepted Tadeo and yet there was times where he still stared him down and watched him closely. Arashi was the baby of the three of them and liked to play. Where Teiro was the one that was causing the most trouble out of them and demanded attention from everyone that he came in contact with when there was on the good side.

Hana walked up to the door of Tadeo's place, she smiled slightly. Sure she had been over to his parents house but this was the first time she was coming here other than to see where he now lived. She kinda giggled to herself and reached up with her hand and gently knocked on his door at the moment. She knew he was home but didn't really know what kind of state his house was in at the moment. She had to keep reminding herself that she would not bark at him about the place if it was messy. Heaven forbids that she wold turn into her mother.

[Tadeo Takasaki]

Snapping awake quickly as he heard the knock, Tadeo rose slowly from the couch with a yawn and called out to Hana, "Just a second..." Tadeo stretched, took a moment to think about what he'd say and grabbed his small assortment of flowers he had gotten her earlier in the day.

Tadeo then took a deep breath, fixed his hair slightly and reached up to open the door. Seeing Hana and the dogs standing before him, he couldn't help but grin lightly. "Heya beautiful..." He said dryly, handing her the flowers. "Why don't you come on in?" He was dressed in a black long sleeved shirt and long black pants with his hair in that sort of neat yet messy style.

"Make yourself at home Hana..." He said softly. No matter how composed he sounded, how smooth he was acting, whenever she was around, he was nervous yet she drove him wild as he was in love with her. "Heya boys..." Tadeo said to the Haimaru Brothers, playing around with Arashi a bit and then scratching Teiru behind his ear as he made his way into the place.

"So, How was your shift at work? I didn't have to make the transition over to the Vet today, it was a busy one in the main hospital..." He said with a sigh, shaking his head over his half day, which felt like forever. "Place drove me nuts today, I never had more cases to look over than today, and it was a half day for me." He said with a smirk.

"Oh, I'm gonna make dinner here in a little bit, do you guys need anything from the kitchen? I got water, soda, umm...a little of the alcohol..." Tadeo said with a chuckle. He wasn't a heavy drinker, but if he wanted to relax or just felt like chilling out, thats when he'd bring that out.

[Inuzuka Hana]

Hana smiled slightly when Tadeo responded to her and then opened the door with holding flowers. She took them from him and smelt them, true she had just picked up some flowers for the clinic tho it was still nice to receive them from someone that she did care about and someone that she enjoyed spending some time with even of one of her mutts didn't agree with her at the moment. She knew that sooner or later that Teashi would warm up to him just like her mother and brother had over the past few years at the moment. "Hey to you to handsome, thank you for the flowers."

She walked into the apartment behind Arashi and Teiro. Teashi took a moment before coming in at the moment. But once he was in he found himself a place next to the couch and laid down at the moment. His eyes never left Tadeo for few moment before closing his eyes. Arashi and Teiro rubbed up against him like they haven't seen him in a while.

Hana watched the four of the for a moment before moving and placing the flowers on the coffee table in the living room. "These are lovely Tadeo. Yea I know you got pulled to the hospital today, sorry about that my hands was tied with that one, I was told you had to spend half the day there this week, so I figured it was better that you got it over with sooner than later. Sorry for that." She gave him a smile has her eyes wondered around the place for a moment then back to him.

"My day, I found out that Kiba has a crush on the flower girl at the flower shop." She smirked slightly at Tadeo. "Wished I had a camara tho, I caught him before I headed to the clinic in a apron and a flower in his hair at the flower shop Tadeo, I don't know how I made it out of there without splitting my sides open from laughing to hard at him. Now the little brat is avoiding me. Other than that it was just the normal day at the clinic." Most of their days there wasn't too bad with the animals getting hurt. And well nothing was going to get her down about today.

She moved over to the couch and sat down where Teiro soon followed her, getting up on the couch beside her. She smiled and pushed him off the couch gently. "Come on Teiro, I am sure Tadeo don't want your fur all over his couch. Who knows who else he is going to entertain." She was joking with him, she was still a Inuzuka at heart about the jokes and that. She looked over her shoulder and smirked some. "Some alcohol sounds good mixed into the soda. Just a bit tho." She knew if Tsume was home she would pick up on the alcohol on her breath but heck she was over the legal age now.

[Tadeo Takasaki]

"Ohh the dogs are fine..." Tadeo muttered. "I hardly ever have anyone over with the schedule I've got, and my mother seems almost happy to have me out of the house and hardly ever comes over, so I don't care." He said with grin. "Ohh...a little stressed are we? A smidge of alcohol and soda coming right up."

Tadeo mixed the drinks and let out a laugh at how she was in the flower shop and found Kiba having a crush on the flower girl and at how she had found him in an apron and flower in his hair. "Oh my god...thats priceless." He said with another snicker. He brought Hana her drink and sat back with one of his own. "Now I've got the dirt...I like it..." He said jokingly. "Ahh...you know he's just avoiding you because he knows you'll put him through what he did to you when he found out about me." Tadeo said with a chuckle.

The subject changed to his schedule, "Ohhhh...I see how that goes...fun..." He said with a sarcastic grin. "I don't like talking too much about work at home so...lets see..." He muttered.

"Chicken Alfredo or Beef Stroganoff over noodles?" Tadeo asked, so he knew what to make for the two of them. "I was lazy getting back home and getting dinner around, so I was just making sure I knew what you liked better." He said softly, taking a small drink.

"I'm just glad my mom's a decent cook, and taught me junk, otherwise this wouldn't work..." Tadeo thought to himself with a grin.

"I'm glad you like the flowers, I'm surprised I didn't see your brother then...he must have been in the back when I came in, oh well..."

[Inuzuka Hana]

Hana laughed at the moment and allowed Teiro to jump back up on the couch and allowed him to lay his head in her lap. She petted him behind the ears slightly. She gave each dog the same amount of attention, well that or they made it known to her that they wanted attention by pulling on her leg or something. "Glad your mom likes you out of the house, mine just nags me to clean the house and watch Kiba. He just about grown, he don't need me watching over him like he still a pup anymore." She didn't mind her mother that much anymore, heck they got a long better now anyways. "And no I aint stressed, I got tomorrow off and want I never really do anything before my day off." She shrugged slightly.

She smiled and took the glass from him, she watched has Arashi jumped up next to him on the other side of the couch and licked his hand for some attention. Her eyes looked down to Teashi at the moment has he rested on the floor. She couldn't understand why he was so serious all the time and it kinda did annoy her. She took a drink and laughed. "I know and sure the hell I will give him hell when I see him next for giving me hell about you when he found out...but the again that hell was mainly keeping it from him for a year. Oh well what comes around goes around."

She laughed slightly when he made the comment about work and home. He was the one that the subject up and here he was dismissing it like it was nothing. She didn't mind tho, she knew when to be professional with him and when to be herself and this was the time to be herself.

She thought for a second on the meals he suggested at the moment. She could cook, she kinda had to mainly because Tsume like refused to most of the tie and when she wasn't home she had to cook for her and Kiba anyways. Not to mentioned the five dogs that needed feed as well. "Chicken Alfredo sounds good." She took another drink and smiled slightly. "He most likely would have died on the spot if you walked in and saw him." She giggled slightly, her hand resting on Teiro's head at the moment.

[Tadeo Takasaki]

Tadeo laughed as Arashi licked his hand for attention and quickly scratched the dog behind his ears. He then shook his head about the sibling rivalry thing. "Yeah, you kept it from him for a year, but the way it sounds, he just got this crush right?" Tadeo muttered. "Actually what am I getting at? Give him hell..." He said with a laugh. Tadeo sighed slightly as the topic hit onto mothers.

"Meh, its more or less because she's tired of me just laying around and complaining about stuff." Tadeo pointed out. "But the way you make it sound, it makes Tsume sound like a slave driver or something.." He said, moving to the kitchen and pulling out some chicken to chop it up. "And granted, I know how Kiba can be annoying, but he's not the worst thing thats happened to ya right?" Tadeo asked. "You two are there for each other most of the time and back each other up, and thats a lot better than being an only child."

Tadeo then pulled out some Alfredo powder and mixed it up into a small saucepan and warmed it up as the chicken cooked. "Although then again, I think it saved a lot of headaches." He said lowly, stepping back out to the living room to sit back down and wait on the timer on the stove.

"Ohh...he would have wanted to die right there.." Tadeo laughed, sipping on his drink. This time with Hana had just begun and already he didn't want her to leave..

[Inuzuka Hana]

Hana listened to Tadeo talk about how Kiba had a reason to give her hell about hiding the fact that she was dating him. She couldn't help but laugh slightly and shake her head, if he even knew the trouble that her mother and Kiba placed her through most of the time because they hadn't meet him. Sure she placed it off has long has possible until she had no choice but to let them meet him there. ”Damn straight I am going to give him hell about Ino, tho will keep from our mother for the most part. She gave me hell when she found about you...and is two years younger than what I am when she found out about us.” She didn't even want to think about Tsume finding out that Kiba had a crush on someone.

She laughed slightly when Tadeo called her mother a slave driver. In a way she could see how he got that part from her, but she did love her mother to no end but the constant nagging about the house work was a little bit annoying. ”You should come by when she comes back home from a mission the first thing out of her mouth is how dirty the house is even if there is nothing visible on the floor Tadeo.” She took a sip of her drink, it was nice letting lose from time to time, tho she would never really drink at the house, just the some times when Tadeo took her out and she never really been wasted before. ”I helped raised when my our dad left us, so yea I won't change Kiba for anything and or even wish that he wasn't around. I wont know what I would do without him Tadeo.”

Arashi was kinda annoyed when Tadeo got up from the couch, but he moved closer to Hana for attention now. He licked her arm has she petted him on his head. She smiled and placed her glass on the table that was next to the couch has Tadeo came back into the room. She smiled and Arashi moved slightly for him to sit back down but obvious was staying next to Hana for right now.

She smirked some and leaned her head back and nodded. ”Oh he would and most likely came and found me at the clinic and accused me of telling you to go by me some flowers, despite whatever I said to try and get out of it. Mostly held a grudge against me has well.” She didn't want to leave at the moment, it was nice getting away from the house, Kiba, and their mother for the most part.

[Tadeo Takasaki]

Tadeo nodded as he listened to Hana explain about Tsume giving her hell when she found out about the both of them going out and shivered slightly. "I'd hate to be in his shoes when she finds out, how do you think she'll act Hana?" He asked softly, looking a little worried. "And he's two years younger which means your mother will definitely advise against it, but I can't help to think on how the girl got through to him, I mean...its Kiba, he's stubborn, how did a girl tie him up?" Tadeo asked in shock.

"Whoa that sounds twice as bad as my mother, maybe even worse than that." Tadeo remarked, trying to compare the mothers, although he had no clue that Tsume was out of comparison with other women with her temper and emotions. "Sure my mom would nag about how dirty it was, but all she ever really make me do was pick up a little around the house and laundry..." He muttered. "So you're telling me it wouldn't be exactly the best thing to do if I visited when she's around?"

"Well, I'm glad you two get along like that, and I think Kiba is pretty cool for the most part, can be pretty damn annoying, but not a bad kid after all." Tadeo said with a laugh. "Ohh...I probably treated that kid in the hospital like 3 times." He muttered. Tadeo looked over to Hana and chuckled, "You alright over there? A little too much in that drink? You're getting giggly and haven't even had dinner yet." he joked.

The boy sat and thought the scenario over, Kiba rushing from the shop to the clinic to yell at her. "Oh geez, that would have made your day awesome right? Be glad I didn't see him then." He said with a smirk. "Wait, he has a grudge on you? How so?"

Tadeo grinned and leaned over to listen to Hana, petting Arashi as he did. The two had a while to wait for the chicken and pasta to be done, so some time with stories would be just what the doctor ordered...

[Inuzuka Hana]

The thought of Tsume finding out about Kiba and Ino was something she rather not think about. She was yelled at about Tadeo when her mother found out thinking that Tadeo was just like her father. She took another drink of her soda and alcohol. She never drank at home only when she was out with Tadeo. ”She will be annoyed, and probably start throwing things and telling Kiba that Ino is just like our father. The same thing that she told me that you was being.” She shrugged the matter of slightly. She didn't like to argue with her mother, but then again sometimes she had no choice in the matter.

She laughed slightly when he said something about him being over there with Tsume home. She shock her head slightly and petted Teiro's head at the moment. ”No what I am saying is that you shouldn't be around when she get back from a mission. She rather boiled up about the mission and tends to allow her mouth get the better of her towards us.”

She knew her brother was a good kid at heart, he just needed some kind of direction to be pushed in at the moment. She decided not to keep talking about her brother, tonight was about being with Tadeo and not talking about work or the trouble or non troubles about her mother and brother. She smiled and looked over to him. ”Saying I have a bad giggle are you and can't be in a good mood?” She was joking at the moment with him but still she was not drunk yet. No it would take her a bit more of these mixed drinks to get her drunk.

She went to take anther drink of her drink and laughed slightly more about the grudge Kiba held at the moment. ”Its more like a sibling thing Tadeo. We both like dirt on each other to use it against each other if someone one of use needs to take the blame for something or what not. Its nothing big really. Sometimes it is useful to have a siblings in that matter.”

[Tadeo Takasaki]

Tadeo noticed the almost hesitant look in Hana's eyes as she seemed to think about her mother and how to describe how she easily can overreact to many things. He listened to Hana's statement intently as he was gauging what she might do if he was to ever run into her mother on accident. "She said that? She didn't give us much of a chance after a year did she? Well, she's got that wrong..." Tadeo said softly, looking over at her with a small smirk.

"Well seriously Hana, I've gotta do it sooner or later...whether it be a few days with her being home or something." He pointed out. "The longer you keep me from doing this, the more she's gonna think that I'm gonna do something horrible to you." Tadeo said softly. "And I don't want her thinking that, because thats as far from the truth as anything."

Laughing as Hana replied about the drunk joke he threw over at her, Tadeo quickly explained himself. "Hey, its not often I get to see you tip that back, I was wondering if you were giggling because you were already slammed or if I was just that damn funny." He said, grinning widely. "Plus, I love seeing you in a good mood, makes everything that much better, that smile of yours, and those eyes, I need directions all the time just to make sure I don't get lost in them." He said jokingly.

"Oh yeah, I can totally understand that, anything to tip the scales sometimes to make things easier, I could totally picture with you two." He said lowly. "What's the craziest thing you've both argued about? I'm just curious..." Tadeo asked softly.

The timer on the stove was about out of time as he sat and waited for a reply to this question, and he intently listened, hoping she would tell him, simply for the sake of knowing...

"DING!!!"

[Inuzuka Hana]

Hana looked over to Tadeo when he commented about Tsume. She didn't want to tell him everything about Tsume past, especially not about her father that was not there anymore. Heck she barely knew her father herself and only had a few selective memories about him. She shrugged slightly. ”Mom is just over protective with me and Kiba....” She knew that was a bit of lie on her part but she did hated to keep dissing her mother like how she was doing, deep down there was some love in there.

She smiled when Tadeo told her that there was really no point of not letting him meet Tsume. She took another drink and looked over to him and petted Arashi real quick. ”Fine, I will schedule you and me off next week and you can meet the over hyper forty year old women, I call mother and judge for yourself on how bad she can be from time to time.” She knew that she would have to watch her mother closely and prepare her from when he was coming over. She might even ask Kiba for a bit of help to has the thought crossed her mind at the moment.

She looked up to him when he asked about the most craziest thing that her and Kiba fought about. This got her to thinking at the moment, because there was so many things in the past that they had fought over and it was hard to pick out why the fight had started int the first place. She bite the inside of her lip slightly and watched Teashi at the moment. ”Well there a lot of things, really and most of the time I can't remember why it started, but I remember the first time I was suppose to go on a mission has a Genin, he stole my headband because he didn't want me to go. I was ten or so maybe twelve. It kinda broke my heart then to leave him like that, but in the long run he got over it.”

She looked up to the ding and smirked. ”Your time went off.”

[Tadeo Takasaki]

"Aren't all mothers like that though?" Tadeo muttered, getting up from his seat to head to the kitchen. "I can't pick on that though, that's their job is to worry about their kids and try to help them out right?" Tadeo said, grinning slightly. "My mom was so worried on first day of academy that she nearly locked the doors on the house to stop me from going." He said jokingly. "So I kinda know what you mean."

"Alright, now thats what I'm talking about!!" Tadeo said happily. "Thank you boss..." He added, chuckling lowly. "At least you're going to give me a shot to see what she's like, I mean you talk about your mother like this and I personally want to see if you're spot on with this Hana." Tadeo muttered. "Overhyper 40 year old woman..." He said with a chuckle. "I suppose you're gonna tell me that she's gonna throw me out the window or something too huh?" Tadeo joked, standing in the kitchen.

As soon as Hana told Tadeo about the story of Kiba hiding her headband, he couldn't help but let out a small laugh. "Aww man, thats too funny...I feel kinda bad now." He muttered, taking the pasta off the burner and shredding chicken that he baked in the oven. After throwing together the chicken and noodles, Tadeo stirred in the alfredo cheese sauce and then quickly dished a plate out for both and set one on each end of the table.

"Well, Dinner's served Hana...I have leftovers for the dogs too if you approve, but I just gotta know if you want something else to drink." He said, grinning slightly. Tadeo knew that Hana would like a guy that could cook, taking pressure off of her. "Whenever you're ready for dinner Hana."

[Inuzuka Hana]

Hana listened to how he spoke about the mother's job was to take care of the children. She thought about it for a moment, she knew he was right in the long run but she couldn't remember exactly what it was like to remember time before Kiba came along and she started at the academy. She had to shrug off that from her minute before she went and had a mental break down to trying what it was like before. "You are right, I shouldn't be so hard on her, but then again she always been hard on me so I guess I am just trying to give back what she dishes out to me." She shrugged slightly and took a drink of her drink once more.

She laughed to see how excited Tadeo was to actually meet Tsume. In her mind she already saw her mother tearing into him has he was nothing but a piece of meat. To actually think about that didn't make this any easier for that matter at the moment. "Excited at the moment is a good thing, Tadeo. Don't lose that around her." That was really the only advice that she could give him at the time. She didn't know what it was like to meet Tsume with growing up with her. She looked at him when he made the comment about her throwing him out the window. The likely hold of that happening was greater than what he thought it was. "She could, depending on her mood at the time....' She would leave it at that for now.

She laughed slightly when he felt sad about the memory about Kiba hiding her headband from her. She shrugged slightly. "Like I said, he got over it in the long run. Now I can't get him to come off any mission that might not need him. Then again he is a Chuunin just like me and you now so its not that big of deal at the moment." She did want to spend ore time with him but the again they was getting older and moving on with their own lives at the same time, so it couldn't be helped.

She got up when he announced that the food was ready. She smiled and looked at the three dogs. She normally didn't feed them scraps but today was different already. She nodded slightly. "I suppose they can have some leftover just for the night." She looked at the three dogs two of them followed her into the kitchen and whinned at Tadeo for the food he seemed to have for them. Teashi on the other hand remained where he had been laying at the moment.

"Right, right...I can understand that, but you don't want to push too hard against one another and cause even more trouble right? I mean...meh, never mind, I'm prying too much." Tadeo said softly, his eyes narrowing slightly as he knew something she didn't. He had to keep his composure around Hana however and keep his secret to himself, at least for the moment. "I'm sure you two work it out on your own..."

"Oh please, I've been in worse spots before than meeting someone else's mother." Tadeo pointed out, taking a bite of his dinner and then drinking the last of his soda and alcohol. "Don't lose my excitement around her huh?" He asked with a grin. But the moment that Hana mentioned the mood that Tsume could be in, Tadeo shut up and continued with dinner.

"So uhh...Hana? Got any plans for like down the road...What are you want?" Tadeo was beginning to ask as he looked up from his plate. Unfortunately, there was a knock at his door. "Just a sec Hana..." Tadeo muttered with a sigh. He moved over to the door and looked through the peephole to see who was out in the hallway.

Hana's comments about Kiba not wanting to stick around for too long and the dogs' scraps would have to go unanswered for the moment as Tadeo doubletaked at the door, looking back to Hana and then at the person outside as it was an older person with wild hair and the same face markings as Hana. "Umm, Hana..." Tadeo whispered. "What does your mother look like?" He asked, looking a bit confused.

"Ho shizz...How did she know where to find us?" Tadeo thought to himself as Tsume let an even louder knock ring out on the door.
