The Village Excursion (Aya)

[Kiba Inuzuka]

It was a busy day in the village, people moving around in crowds, shops selling well, and the sky was without a cloud, the sun beating down lightly on the place. It was a boring day for two individuals that happened to sit in a tree, out of the sunlight and in seclusion, oh so they thought.

An familiar Inuzuka boy and his big canine were resting in the shade of a large tree in the village boredly when they saw a cat and dog chasing each other. "There goes the nap time..." Kiba thought to himself, blinking angrily at the ground. Kiba and Akamaru were relaxing throughout the afternoon due to training earlier and didn't feel like going home to nap, so they found the large tree.

Akamaru rose up slowly and growled at the two animals, letting out a loud bark to let the cat get away and stop the dog in its tracks. "Get outta here dog, and don't mess with the weak!!" Kiba cried out, closing his eyes again. It was a rough run of things for the boy, his relationship with his mother was sinking, he didn't feel like facing up to his sister and she even seemed like she was edging away from him, making things seem all so hard for him.

Kiba thought he was out of the sight of everyone as he prepared to sleep again, but little did he know that someone spotted the two from a long ways away.

[Aburame Aya]

It was a calm day for Aya, there wasn't a mission today for her to take has either a ANBU or Jounin. Today was turning out to be a rather boring day. At first she laid on top of her apartment building trying to find some clouds to watch, but today just didn't seem like a cloud day in the sky. This kinda annoyed her because she didn't have anything better to do at the moment. Aya slowly sat up from her laying position and looked around. It was a beautiful day and it would be a shame for her to be a Nara and waste it sleeping. She could go and collect some bugs but where would she go at the moment. She took a deep breath and let it out for a moment.

She got up to her feet and grabbed her bag that was next to her. She placed it around her shoulders slightly and pushed up her sunglasses. It was bright at the moment do, it kinda bugged to. She jumped down from the building, and landed on the ground with easy. She slowly started to walk around the village, watching everyone that passed her. It was hard to tell exactly who she was and she kinda like it that way. She passed the edge of the village and caught something out of the corner of her eyes. A big dog next to a human that barked at a dog and a cat. That was something she didn't see every day. Her attention was drawn to the marks on the boy's face, they was just like Baito's. There was no doubt in her mind that the boy in front of her was an Inuzuka. Her once grin face turned into a smirk. She held up her hands and disappeared.

She appeared standing upside down on a tree branch a good eight feet from him. Her black hair fell downwards at the moment. "You are not a Nara, you are not suppose to be sleeping outside. That is a Nara thing to do. You are a Inuzuka. I know an Inuzuka, but he not you. Which Inuzuka are you?" She ran through her mind at the moment at to all the Inuzuka she had heard about in the ranks of a shinobi but none at the moment seemed to fit him at the moment. Her arms was folded against her chest at the moment.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba's eyes opened to the sound of a girl's voice, and he was shocked to see her appear before him hanging upside down. "I know I'm not a Nara and its weird for me and Akamaru to sleep here, but don't worry about it." Kiba muttered, closing his eyes slightly. "Which Inuzuka am I?" Kiba asked her back jokingly. "I'm the stressed out one..." He growled.

Kiba didn't take much to others coming and intruding on his sleep, but then again, he was outside and had to expect at least someone to possibly bug him, especially at the sight of him and a big dog laying in a big tree in the middle of the village, something you don't see happen often.

"I'm Kiba..." He spoke softly. "Which Inuzuka do you know?" Kiba asked, opening one eye at her. The boy was now interested in what this girl knew about his clan and who she knew. "Who are you anyhow? Why did you decide to bug me?" Kiba asked softly, looking at the ground softly.

Usually Kiba would have already asked the person to bug off or threaten to throttle them, but seeing how it was a girl and someone he didn't know, Kiba restrained and truthfully wasn't in the mood to fight, which meant there were a lot of things on his mind.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya watched him with interest has her spider pendant on her sunglasses finally fell down towards her hair. Aya loked down to Akamaru when Kiba said his name. She nodded slightly at the moment. "Akamaru..." She was careful to how she pronounce the name at the moment. "He looks nothing like Kegawa." She smiled at the name of Baito's dog. She did like the animal most of the time when he wasn't trying to snap at her bugs that was out at the moment. "But yes, its weird for anyone other than a Nara to be sleeping outside in the middle of the day." She was being honest because she knew the Nara well being a member of it herself.

She looked back to Kiba when he told her his name and asked which Inuzuka that she knew. So she had gotten him interested in her just because she knew one of his fell clan members. She giggled slightly and placed a finger to her lips slightly. "I know Inuzuka Baito, and his best friend Kegawa-kun!" She paused for a moment, most knew that Aburame and Inuzuka was usually placed on the same team for their tracking ability. It was the same in her case at the moment. If she said she was an Aburame right off the back it would take away her fun and having little time to have fun she decided that it would be no good telling him exacty who she was at the moment. "I am Ayako, but most just call me Aya. Its nice to meet you Inuzuka Kiba, and Akamaru!"

She had no doubt that Akamaru could smell her bugs or at lease get the scent from them at the moment. It was something that she could not change. She didn't want to ask about her cousin Shino at the moment. There was no need to at the moment. "Your marks on your face is what made me want to bug you. I haven't seen Baito in so long. I kinda miss him. I should go see him one day." She flipped down and sat down on the ground next to Akamaru holding her hand out towards him. She smiled some. Then his file hit him and smiled. "You are brother to Inuzuka Hana, the vet aint you?" She was pleased at herself for recalling that information.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba's eyebrow rose at the girl as her pendant finally fell dowh the way by her hair and he looked a bit amazed at her she was recalling all this information. "Yeah Baito, I know who you're talking about, and his dog Kegawa." He muttered lowly. Akamaru simply sniffed at the girl and panted happily, not seeing Ayako as a threat at the moment, but even he just had an earthy smell from her. "Heh, I know a few Nara, Shikamaru and his father, but yeah...So I felt like being lazy outside for once, no big deal right?"

"Aya huh? You seem different...I can't put my claw on it though." Kiba said softly. The boy usually knew that Aburame and Inuzuka were on the same team, but wasn't sure about this girl, she looked more like a Nara or another clan.

"My marks?!? Oh yeah...yeah, I'm sure he'd like to see ya...lonliness sucks." Kiba muttered. Akamaru saw the girl hold out her hand and he gently licked it, being a big sucker for attention and being nice. The name he didn't want to hear at the moment came from Aya's mouth and Kiba's heart jumped into his throat. "Y-yeah...I am..." He said, looking startled. "H-how did you know that? Are you spying on me?" Kiba asked, looking at her cautiously.

The boy's face flushed of color and he sat looking at Aya like a ghost had appeared before him. "Seriously though, How??"

[Aburame Aya]

She giggled slightly when he told her that he knew Baito and Kegawa. She really did have to go by and seem them some time soon. She smiled more when Kiba talked about Shikamaru and his father and knowing them. She knew them but wasn't Shikamaru's direct cousin or anything, not like Shino who she was his second cousin some how or another at the moment. ”Yup I know those two has well. Tho not so much at the moment really tho. It just odd to someone from well the Inuzuka to be laying about like this is all. Baito, I could never get him to sit still for long periods of time.” She shrugged some mainly to herself.

Aya smiled when Kiba told her that seemed different and he couldn't place his claws on it. She had sat down now on the ground and her pendant fell against her cheek now. ”I am a very unique person. But then again everyone is rather unique aint they? The Inuzuka has their pets dogs, Nara their shadows. Hyuuga and Uchiha their eyes. Aburame their creepy little bugs. And of course there are a few other clans but I don't know much about them now. I have been teamed up to a Inuzuka and Hyuuga most of my time, specially when I was a Genin and a Chuunin.” She would let him dwell on that for now.

She smiled when Akamaru licked her hand. She reached over with her other one and petted him behind his ear. ”You a somewhat like Kegawa Akamaru but not totally.” She looked up when Kiba freaked out about her knowing Hana. She wasn't sure why he freaked out like this or thought she was spying on him of all people. There was no reason to be spying on a kid like this was there? Not that she ever been told. She shock her head slightly at him and waited for him to calm down at the moment.

She smiled and placed both of her hands in her lap. ”Kegawa doesn't go to the vet without me being there. Thats how I know Hana. I have no reason to spy on you. Specially if you are acting like a Nara.” She looked up to the sky for a moment and then back to Kiba when she didn't see a cloud in the sky, still a disappointed sky at the moment. She leaned her hands behind her and leaned back on the. She allowed one or two bugs out to roam the surrounding area of them. She had to feel like she was being watched or something at the moment. She didn't know if he would catch on to it yet.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba calmed down as soon as Aya mentioned that she wasn't there to spy on the Inuzuka boy and relaxed a bit. He grinned slightly as she explained that she knew the two Nara he mentioned and about how Baito would sit still during anything. "Oh yeah, I saw him so many times when I was young, those two couldn't sit still...they had to be doing something." Kiba said with a laugh.

"So you know my sister Hana huh? Does she gossip to you?!? If she does, don't lie about it..." Kiba muttered, narrowing his eyes.

"I'm normally that way myself, but a lot of stuff's going on and I just feel lost." He muttered, kicking his feet out to sit back and chill. "Everyone's unique, of course...If we weren't different, then this world would be no fun, everyone would be like zombies or something." Kiba joked. "I just haven't picked out what makes you so unique yet, because it seems you've got me pegged."

Kiba took another slight sniff at her and only got an earthy smell from her, nothing that was a dead giveaway. "Paired up with a Inuzuka and Hyuuga?!?" He asked, tilting his head. "You don't seem lazy like a Nara or have weird bugs like an Aburame..." Kiba said softly, looking her over carefully, almost missing the small bugs as he sat up.

"Or do you?" Kiba asked, smirking slightly. "Say, you know there's a couple bugs by your hands right? I'm just wondering if you knew that or not..." Kiba said with a small grin. "Usually people would be freaking out by now."

[Aburame Aya]

Aya nodded slightly when Kiba said that the two had to be doing something. That sounded like them and Kyoten was there to pull them together in weird advantages. Now that she was thinking about her Genin days she kinda missed them has well. She let out a sight of her own and rubbed the upper part of her shoulder slightly knowing what laid underneath of her sleeve. She smiled and place on a smile non the less at the moment. ”That is Baito and Kegawa. I have known them for twelve years now, but both of them are decent and I like knowing them.” She nodded slightly at her statement.

She blinked slightly when he was questioning her about Hana gossiping about him. She closed her eyes slightly and thought back to the last visit to the vet that she had to take while with Kegawa. She shock her head slightly. ”Nope, she doesn't talk about you. She is very professional like that from what I can tell that is.”

She giggled slightly when he hadn't caught on at the moment. Most noticed the spider on her glasses and knew only one clan that did that and it was Aburame. She didn't do this because of the Aburame Clan. She did it because Mushi was her first pet and her father gave it to her it was sorta her good luck charm at the moment. ”You are far from the truth. I don't have you pegged. Sure you are a Inuzuka, but that doesn't mean you don't have a special skill or personality of your own. I would never assume that you are like the rest of your clan or like Baito.” She smiled some.

She listened to him talk about how she didn't look to be lazy like a Nara or have the bugs like the Aburame. If only if he knew what she had to deal with and be like. A small smirk appear on her face slightly. She could show off both of her abilities at the moment, but thinking about how much strain that brought to her chakra supply quickly made that thought disappeared.

She smirked slightly when he commented on her bugs next to her hand. ”Just because I am a girl doesn't mean I am going to get worked up over some bugs.” She allowed a few more to crawl from under her sleeve. ”Aburame Ayako. So yes I have these creepy little bugs, has well. But.” She stopped at the moment and smiled and leaned back onto the grass and looked up at the sky. ”I am disappointed that there no clouds in the sky at the moment. My mother is from the Nara clan.” She wasn't sure how he was going to take that news. She knew how different both of those clans was and it was hard for her to see being either one of them at a given time. There was just too much work in making everyone happy. So she decided to make her own self happy instead.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"Thats cool Aya, I don't know them personally or nothing but he is a decent guy and I think even broke up a fight I got into one time, but yeah...its cool to know you get along with him, I don't feel as awkward now." Kiba said with a grin. "I'm paired up with A Hyuuga and Aburame myself...Hyuuga Hinata and Aburame Shino." Kiba said sighing lightly and looking around.

The boy then nodded slightly and grinned, "Yeah, thats my sis...She's a pro alright, a real good vet." Kiba said softly, looking to the ground. "Yeah, I just wondered because we're pretty close and junk, I just wondered if she kept that stuff to herself." Kiba said, pulling his knees in close to him and putting his hands and head on them.

"Special Skill? I dunno what you mean there...I'm just your run of the mill Inuzuka trying to scratch his way up the ranks, although I feel like I'm going nowhere fast." Kiba muttered. "I feel like I've screwed a lot of stuff up Aya." He said with a chuckle. With all this being said, a big grin snuck across the boy's face when the bugs came running out.

"Haha, I knew it...but I wasn't just saying that because you're a girl, I've seen guys freak too, its just typical of a girl though." Kiba explained himself. "Aburame Ayako...well now, thats a sight to see there." He said with a toothy grin. When he heard the next part however, Kiba nearly freaked. "No way...Really? Thats really kinda cool, so what do you do? Nap and collect bugs?" Kiba asked, joking with her. "I know what you mean though, its boring with no clouds...nothing to sightsee today."

"Wow, thats pretty cool Aya..."

[Aburame Aya]

Aya smiled and nodded slightly. She remembered Baito holding her back a few times from a fight has well. ”Baito does that form time to time. He picks fights but he never really done any himself. He hold me back from a few when we was younger. I know Shino, he like my second cousin or something like that.” She hadn't seen Shino in some time so she made a note go see Shino. The more she talk the more she kinda knew that she been working to hard at the moment.

Aya nodded slightly but shrugged. ”I am a few years older than her Kiba, so I didn't really grow up with her in the academy or being in range of her skill when she was a Genin and that.” She smiled slightly over to him. ”But from what I can tell from when I do see her at the clinic. She a really nice person, and even nice people have their secrets.”

She laughed slightly. ”Every Shinobi feels like that from time to time Kiba. Its just how we are. We feel that we do all that we can and somehow get over look on missions and being promoted and all that. Your time will come when everyone sees you differently. Its important that you remember that. Its dark times with everything happening at the moment. There will be a day when you are needed and everyone will look to you for those answers and needs. Just don't let them down. I am a Jounin.”

Aya looked over to Kiba for a moment when he commented about the girls. ”Oh trust me I know they do. One of the reasons why I don't have many female friends. They don't see how I can live with them crawling inside of me.” She nodded slightly at his shockness that she was both a Aburame and a Nara. ”Yea catch bugs and be lazy that is me, some times, not all the time.” She smiled some and leaned back up and petted Akamaru once more behind the ears slightly. ”I barely know Shikamaru, he somehow related to my mom or something, but I don't know. I barely really associate with that part of my family. I am not that great with the whole Shadow Possession stuff yet.” She looked up to him with a smile. ”Cheer up don't make me beat that into you. Even tho there not a cloud in side doesn't mean you can pout like that.”

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"I know everyone has their secrets Aya, but it doesn't help when you've pryed into someone's and now you're sitting on the other side of things, trying to avoid telling the secret, granted its not life and death, but now I feel nervous and feel stressed." Kiba growled. "Aww what am I telling you all this for? You're probably bored with hearing me whine huh?"

"Yeah, I know...I'm not so much worried about how quick I get promoted, I'm trying to enjoy life while picking up skills and stuff like that, but everything just got all screwed up along the way." Kiba pointed out. "I wanna aim for the same place you are, Jounin and then maybe something else, I dunno..." He added. "It's just that I'm gonna feel a little weird dating a Jounin, well...potential Jounin and hear my sister brag about it, plus I'd have to hear it from my mother that I was a weakling for not going for the rank up yet." Kiba growled. "It sucks..."

Kiba was glad to switch to another topic, a bit fascinated with the girl. "Well, it does seem kinda hard to believe that someone could live without going insane sometimes with them crawling around inside ya." He pointed out. "I used to get kinda freaked out by those things, I just get mad when flies bug me..." Kiba added about the insects. "Which bug is your favorite?" He asked, now pelting the girl with questions, as Kiba was now as interested as a little kid, finally able to talk to an Aburame. He kinda let the Nara info pass over his head and laughed as she threatened to throttle him.

"Hey!! I like clouds too...I get bored with the blue sky like anyone else..."

[Aburame Aya]

Aya smiled slightly and listened to him and heard him said that she was probably tired of hearing him complain at the moment. She shrugged slightly. Everyone had there days, and this just seemed like Kiba's day. She didn't mind at the moment, barely knew what it was like to bottle things up. She still did mainly because of the Aburame inside of her. She looked over to him and shrugged some. ”I know and understand what you are going through. Grant it I am an only child, but I have kept something from my parents and they didn't like when they found out about it either....still have not worked that out with them really. But I know in time it will.”

She laughed slightly at how he might be dating a Jounin. ”You really should keep your love and ninja life separate.” She reached over to her waist and tapped on her headband at the moment. ”Sure I know a lot of us wear our headbands when we are not on a mission and that, but just because we wear it doesn't mean we have to act like shinobi all the time. We choose this path for many reasons, I really had no choice to become a ninja. I had to learn chakra control one way or another. My mom taught me how to use the Shadow Possession Jutsu when I was four. I was in a strong pair of glasses then. When I turned chuunin because of my chakra control I didn't need to use the glasses anymore. I wear the sunglasses not because of my Aburame upbringing, but because they feel natural to me. We are not just ninja Kiba, we are people. Rank should have nothing to do how you look at your sister, your mother, or the girl that you have a crush on.”

She smiled when he asked about which bug that she liked the most. She shrugged slightly at the moment. 'There to many unique types of bugs out there Kiba. I really don't have a favorite. I did have a pet spider once that I named Mushi. He when I became a Chuunin.” She pointed to the pendant that rested on her cheek. ”My dad gave me this, when he did die on me. I caught the spider with my dad when I was ten. I will never forget that.”

She leaned back once more and tilted her head up once more and saw a passing bird in the sky. The few bugs that was out crawled back up her sleeve at the moment. ”Why get bored of it? That is a waste of time and energy. Its a prefect time for a spar or nap.” She laughed to her self at the moment.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba nodded as Aya seemed to know what he was talking about when he talked about the secrets thing. It sounded like she wasn't dumb about the world and Kiba didn't mind talking to her, seeing how she seemed to take life how it came to her. "Yeah, I guess crap happens that you don't expect and sometimes its good or bad, just depends how you react huh?" He said with a chuckle.

Kiba laughed again about the love life and Ninja life. "Oh don't worry Aya, I make sure that doesn't interfere, I was joking about my girlfriend Ino, she can do what makes her happy, I'm gonna support her, and of course my sis, although its gonna be a loud household when she passes." He pointed out. "My mother too, she's gonna flip once she finds I have a girlfriend." He said, thinking about Tsume's reaction.

"Spiders, but spiders aren't insects right?" Kiba muttered, thinking about an argument he heard about (Cbox highlight *ahem* XD) and blinked. "Thats a cool name for a Spider though, Mushi...very cool." Kiba murmered. "Aww, thats a cool thing to remember him with, sucks that he died, but it sounds like he had a good life with ya." Kiba muttered.

"Well to be honest, I was watching the sky from behind my eyelids, so you have a good point, it all just matters which sounds more appealing." Kiba said with a yawn.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya looked over to Kiba slightly when he commented about life and all that. She never really say it that way mainly because she felt that it was a waste of time to even dwell on the past events that had came her way for the moment part. The only thing that she did know that she would take anything that was given to her for the most part, and there was no reason to cry over something that she could not control. She smiled and nodded slightly at Kiba when he seemed to understand for the most part of what she was trying to say to him. ”That is exactly is Kiba. Take what life throws at you, and don't let it get you down.”

She listened to him when he told her that he wont get the things mix things up like that. It was good to hear mainly because she seen to many of her friends relationship ruined because they couldn't keep their shinobi life out of things and stuff. She blinked slightly when she heard that his mother and sister would flip about the relationship. She didn't understand this because she never been placed in that position before nor had a sibling to pick on her like that. She thought about what it would like to have a brother or sister but really couldn't seem to gasp that concept at the moment. ”Huh...not to be rude or anything but...what is it like to have a sibling?” She was curious, it was something that she didn't have experience on at the moment or really thought about it until today.

She smiled and nodded slightly when he commented how a spider was not a insect. “You are correct, they are not insects, but like I said before I am a unique person. I don't follow the set guide lines of the Aburame Clan or the Nara Clan. I like spiders, there not that big of deal if you know how to handle them. I do. When I captured Mushi I found a book on spiders and I read it. Do you like to collect things Kiba?” She tilted her head slightly at him waiting for his answer.

Aya giggled slightly at Kiba's answer about watching the eyelids. ”In other words you are being a Nara and taking a nap and I came and ruined it.” She stood up and dusted off her pants legs for a moment. ”Come on lets spar. I am eager to see if your fighting style is like Baito's style.” She smiled and there was no way she was going to take a no for the answer at the moment.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba looked over at Aya and let out a small grin as she gave him some positive encouragement about taking what life threw at him and not let it get him so down like he was at the moment. The Inuzuka boy usually lived for the moment and lived for the here and now, but he was so focused on things that could be huge in his life that he forgot that life was for living, not sitting around and worrying. "Yeah, you're absolutely right, Why am I sitting here whining about all this? I should go and make things better." Kiba growled.

Hearing the comment about not having a sibling kinda surprised Kiba coming from Aya, but he wasn't offended or even speechless, as this wasn't the first time that someone had asked him about being so close to a sibling and still able to do what he wanted to do. "Well Aya, its kinda like this...You see, having a sibling to me means having someone that you can relate to, someone that you can talk to when you're in a pinch or need some advice." He said softly. "Hana and I are so close because my mother is normally not at home a lot of the time and she had to help raise me, so we've spent a lot of time together and know each other very well." He added. "The thing thats the hardest though is the rivalry, we always push each other to strive for higher goals, so if either of us falls, we never hear the end of it." Kiba said with a chuckle. "But all in all, I wouldn't trade my sister for anyone in the world, she's awesome and I have to face her wrath soon."

Kiba shrugged as she agreed that Spiders weren't insects, "They're close enough to insects I suppose so it isn't much different." He muttered. "I bet it took a lot of work to keep him healthy, I know all about taking care of a lot of animals, something I've learned from watching Hana." He pointed out. "Do I like collecting things? Hmm...yeah, I guess...I have a dogtag collection and whenever I find a cool rock or something I hold onto it." He said simply.

"Yeah, I was pulling a Nara and taking a nap...mostly because there was nothing to do before you came along." Kiba said with a grin. "Sparring with a Jounin, I live for this type of stuff...you're on, but I'll tell you one thing, don't expect me and Akamaru to fight like Baito, we're unique..." Kiba said, standing up and stretching lightly. "I can't disagree to a fight...it'd be like pulling teeth."
