Deidara
Type: Canon
Age: 19
Sexuality: Homosexual
Status: Single
Interest: None (Though that will be soon to change...)
Appearance:
Deidara has long blond hair that falls to the bottoms of his shoulderblades and is usually kept straightened with the bangs covering the scope over his left eye and the upper layer tied back into a high ponytail. His right eye is the only one that can be easily seen, and its bright blue hue may easily catch attention in an otherwise-dark realm of opticals.
Deidara's clothing is entirely made of the Akatsuki uniform - a black cloak that falls mid-calf, with red, white-trimmed clouds; a fingernail polish color of his choice (he usually wears black or forest green); a straw hat which he removes and tucks away at his convienience; the standard black sandals with a cloth strip connecting them to his legwear; dark blue pants and a matching shirt adorned with a mesh-like material; and the ring with "Ao(Blue)" that shows that he is an official member of the organization.
Personality:
.Artistic-Compulsive Disorder;
Deidara believes that his art is the greatest form, referring to it as "superflat" and saying that "pop" art is dead. He views art as a "fleeting, transient moment" which he recreates through clay bombs infused with his own chakra, and his catchphrase, "Art is a blast!" is usually at least mumbled before he detonates the bombs.
.Quick to anger;
Deidara has an explosive temper (ha ha - get it? Get it? :D) and is easily agitated or angered, especially when others dispresect his art or love of it. Usually, after he is pissed off, there hillarity ensues, and he blows up or attacks the other in a comical fashion if the attacker is a comrade.
.Slightly sadistic;
Deidara enjoys seeing other in pain, as shown when he detonates bombs. When this happens, a twisted smirk usually plays on his lips while his eyes grow wide from the excitement of the artwork to behold, and once the explosion has settled, his chest swells with pride, and he moves on with a satisfied, aloof atmosphere surrounding him. Another example of this is when he tells Sasori that he knows that Sasori will be upset with him if he says something, but tells it to his "master" anyways.
.Respectful tendancies;
If Deidara believes that someone is stronger than he himself is, he refers to the person as "danna," or "master." People that have earned this title include Sasori and Kisame, while others that he respects have a "-san" thrust at the end of their name. If he doesn't feel the need to point of a person's capabilities, he refuses to use an honorific and merely calls the person by his or her given name; people that fall under this category include Tobi and Hidan.
History:
Deidara was born in Iwagakure with the kekkei genkai which he was ridiculed for. His fellow villagers loved to poke fun at him about his "art" and left him out of so many things that soon, he felt as if he was on the edge of society, and he blamed everything on those people that turned him away. He soon found that the best way for him to cope was to practice his art more and more frequently until he became obsessed with it and couldn't help but to find every available oppertunity to use it.
With even more humiliation by his sudden love for the explosives, Deidara fled from the village and declared himself a bomber-for-hire, and he was called upon quite frequently to use his talents. Pein saw this gift and readily sent Itachi, Kisame, and Sasori to capture Deidara and bring him to the lair. After taking a huge blow to his ego from Itachi, Deidara found himself in the organization, but because of the emotional damage suffered from Itachi, he still carries a loathing for all Uchiha; however, he recognizes Itachi as a strong opponent.
After Deidara had been paired up with Sasori, he soon found a slight liking for his partner as a fellow artist, though Deidara was still prone to pick fights with him about true art and its form. He scouted on many a mission with his fellow Akatsuki member, and before long, they found themselves tracking down the One-Tailed Beast from Sunagakure: Gaara of the Desert. Deidara caught the Jinchuuriki at the expense of an arm that was crushed by the Ultimate Defense sand, but the two managed to escape the village without a casulaty.
When they were traked down by the Jinchuuriki's brother, Kankuro, Deidara carried the body to the cavern where the extraction of the Biju was to occur, and after Sasori finally caught up with him, the process began. It lasted three days, but the organization was able to take the One-Tailed from Gaara's body and seal it into a statue with the help Pein's jutsu.
At the order of Pein, Sasori and Deidara were forced to battle the rescue squad assigned to snatch Gaara back and bring him back to Sunagakure. The two split up with Haruno Sakura and Chiyou fighting Sasori and Uzumaki Naruto and Hatake Kakashi chasing after Deidara, who was carrying Gaara's corpse. The latter lost his other arm, but this time from Kakashi's new ocular jutsu which sucked part of Deidara's arm into another dimension. Deidara was defeated an lost the body to the enemy, but he managed to escape and went to search for his lost arm.
Chakra Element: Earth
Rank: Jounin / Missing-Nin
Affiliation: Akatsuki
Weapons: Exploding Clay, Kunai, Shuriken
Known Jutsu:
~C0
The "Ultimate Art" or highest level of Deidara's exploding clay, C0, is created by Deidara himself ingesting a massive amount of exploding clay through the mouth in place of where his heart is. Once the clay is inside his body, his body becomes a condensed black sphere with white, pupil-less eyes and jagged teeth which then opens up and detonsates. The explosion covers more than ten kilometers.
~C1 Kibaku Nendo [Exploding Clay]
Using "C1" chakra, Deidara molds tiny figurines from the chakra-infused clay through the mouths on his hands and produces them when they are ready for use. He is then able to enlarge them and control them, usually sending his creations into battle or a way to fly or carry heavy objects (such as a Jinchuuriki). The attack of a weapon exploding clay is initiated through Deidara saying "Katsu" and creating the appropriate hand signal.
~C2 Doragon [Dragon]
With "C2" chakra, Deidara can use the same method of creating this dragon, which is able to create clay bombs of its own and set mines about.
~C3 no Bakuhatsu [Explosion of C3]
"C3" chakra powers this massive clay bomb that starts as the previous two. It is shaped similarly to TarĂ´ Okamoto's works (actually, most of his works are). This is Deidara's favorite explosive or "Specialty" and has enough power to easily level a village.
~Jibaku Bunshin [Suicide Bombing Clone]
Deidara creates a clay clone, then escapes as this clone swallows as much clay as possible. When the real body is a safe distance away, Deidara initiates the attack which has the potential to destroy an entire forest.
~Dochū Eigyo no Jutsu [Underground Move Jutsu]
Using this jutsu, Deidara can hide underground and wait to attack.
~Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu [Headhunter Jutsu]
Deidara moves underground using the previous technique and surprises the enemy by reaching from the ground, grabbing the enemy's ankle, and pulling them into the ground, replacing the foe with himself.

Sample RP:
Twilight. That time of mystery between the darkness of the night and the holy light of day that draws together the happiness and despair which all creatures have locked within. The time of day where the beating of all hearts draws out a melodious song where not one is left on the outskirts. The time where the sky is painted in brilliant hues of golds and pinks and the Great Orb ascends into the heavens to lighten the hearts and minds of those under its glow.
However, beyond that mystical harmony was the single thought of dispair that was hand-in-hand with that Orb: the moon. It casted out all other signs of life at night, yet it was still present in the daytime where the sun shone ever so brightly. That shadow of dismal thoughts always was there to obsure the tune of the dawn and every moment afterward until the Orb dropped below the horizon and gave its luminous properites to its sister.
Under that traitorous moon flew a single creature with skin unlike any other. Its pale white surface stole the glow of the moon and made it its own, yet the rider was cloaked in darkness. Strands of white whipped about in the cold night air while a soft bell jingled out a tune for all to be heard. The hollow eyes of the steed were not that of a creature, but a clone of one that gave off no signs of life. "Sasori no Danna," the master whispered, "would be irritated with me... un."
