: Character Information |::
Houzuki Suigetsu
Type: Canon
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Status: Single
Interest: None
Appearance:
Suigetsu has thick silver hair that reaches just a few centimeters above his shoulders, and his bangs are longer in the middle and become steadily shorter as they spread out; it is usually worn long. His violet eyes have a boyish look about them, and his actions match them perfectly.
The most defining physical feature - at first glance - of Suigetsu is his teeth. Instead of having just two puny little canine teeth, his mouth is filled with razor-sharp fangs meant to rip, tear, and repeat. He seems to enjoy showing them off by gving wide smiles and huge grins, revealing them quite thoroughly to whomever may be around.
His Liquid Form is just that - liquid. Well, specifically water. Suigetsu has to drink a fair amount of water to keep himself hydrated for using this form whenever needed. Liquid Form allows Suigetsu to easily absorb hits by condensing his body or a part of it into water. By using this, he can also alter his body to expand a portion of it, giving himself more muscles if needed. He uses this often so that he may wield weapons or throw objects that he normally would have difficulty with. It is unclear whether this is a kekkei genkai or if it resulted from Orochimaru's experimentations.
Personality:
.Indifferent;;
Suigetsu is almost oblivious to the world around him and is constantly thinking of only his own needs when not fighting, though he does make an excellent teammate in battle. Because of his lax attitude, he is easily confused for being lazy, though because of only his easy-going nature and constant need of water to stay hydrated for his Liquid Form.
.Driven;;
Suigetsu's dream is to collect all seven of the Seven Guardian Swordsmen's weapons, and he is aware that Momochi Zabuza has already fallen in battle; however, he is unable to reach his grave to retrieve the sword from his grave because of the constant oversight of those in Orochimaru's lair. Because of his passion for the collection of the swords, he will go to almost any means of getting his hands on them to use for himself, giving the image that he is a greedy person.
.Animal Lover;;
Suigetsu also has taken a liking to animals in his travels, not at all minding if there is a little critter frolicking about in his path. He will go out of his way to take care of an injured animal, as he was taught by his parents at a young age that the creatures are worth saving. If an animal is mistreated, he won't hesitate to speak up for the wounded and teach the wounder a lesson through his words.
History:
Houzuki Suigetsu was born into the former Blood Mist Village where he and his older brother, Mangetsu, were destined to become powerful shinobi. They both trained diligently at the Academy and were the best of friends, and Suigetsu looked up to his brother so much that they began developing similar likes, dislikes, and dreams; however, their personalities were quite different. While Mangetsu was the quiet, sophisticated type, Suigetsu was loud, rambunctious, and loved to pull pranks on his family and peers.
While in the Academy, Mangetsu and Suigetsu were introduced on a special day of class to Momochi Zabuza, one of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. The two young boys instantly fell in love with the guardian's morals and pleaded for him to take them under his wing, and he when he happily accepted, the boys rushed home to their parents to tell them about their apprenticeship. Their parents were overjoyed and allowed for their new master to look after them, and Zabuza took them in.
While the boys trained, they were able to meet and bond with the remaining six swordsmen, and after a heated discussion amongst themselves, the Swordsmen decided to accept the Houzuki brothers as two of the new members for the next generation of the Seven Swordsmen. The boys were thrilled at this news and worked as hard as possible in their studies at the Academy, gaining the attention of peers and teachers alike.
While out one day inspecting the few herbs that grew in the misty village for a class project, Mangetsu fell ill after inhaling the fumes of a deadly poison, and Suigetsu drove himself to lift Mangetsu's body onto his own back and carry him to the teachers who took him to the hospital where the older Houzuki died.
Striken with grief, Suigetsu fell into a deep depression and was unable to continue his training for weeks. He found himself lost within the borders of reality and could find no escape... until the Academy graduation exams, that was. When the test was explained, Suigetsu was in a daze and didn't pay attention to the one rule of the exam: Fight to the death. As he walked onto the field of the upcoming battle, he merely stood in his zoned state while the others prepared for the mini war. Once the proctor gave the signal to start, one of the young shinobi pulled out a kunai and lodged it in Suigetsu's arm, sending a spurt of blood flying into the humid air.
Once the pain reached Suigetsu's brain, he instinctively retaliated by reaching into his bag, yanking out a kunai of his own, and slicing off the peer shinobi's hand. Through the high of the moment where his adreneline was piked, Suigetsu knocked the kunai from his wound and began stabbing the young shinobi repeatedly until long after he stopped moving. After confirming by a slash to the heart of the other that he was indeed dead, Suigetsu dashed at his former comrades and expertly ripped them limb from limb, leaving only their torsos and heads attatched as they shrieked in pain until, finally, he began decapitating them.
Once the exam was completed and Suigetsu was covered in the blood of the young shinobi, he was crowned genin by his proctors and went home to wash himself of the filth.
Suigetsu told the Seven Swordsmen of his accomplishment, and they rewarded him by allowing him to train with their swords (though he didn't wield Kisame's because of the barrier placed around it).
Soon after Suigetsu had learned most of the techniques, the Blood Mist Village became merely the Mist Village, and the Seven Guardian Swordsmen disbanded. Suigetsu was now distraught over both and vowed to not become one of the Swordsmen, but to collect their swordst that he had nearly mastered; however, this was cut short when Orochimaru captured him to experiment on, and Suigetsu was locked inside a test tube for later use.
Chakra Element: Water
Rank: Unknown
Affiliation: Otogakure
Weapons: Kunai, shuriken, senbon, etc.
Known Jutsu:
~Hydration Technique [Suika no Jutsu] :: The user can reduce all or part of their body to a watery from, avoiding and absorbing attacks. They re-solidify afterwards. It is unclear whether or not this is a product of Orochimaru's experimentations.
~Water Release: Great Water Arm [Suiton: Gōsuiwan no Jutsu] :: Using his ability to transform his body into water, Suigetsu will reform his arm in a more muscular form. This stronger arm allows him to deliver more powerful swings with his weapons.
~Hidden Mist Technique [Kirigakure no Jutsu] :: This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, reducing visibility within the affected area. The density can be controlled by the user, allowing them to create a mist so thick that even they can't see through it.
~Water Clone Technique [Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu]
~Water Release: Destructive Water Torrent [Suiton: Hahonryū] :: This technique lets the user summon a rapid river of water to attack their opponent.
~Water Release: Violent Water Wave [Suiton: Mizurappa] :: Water gushes out from the mouth like a waterfall and washes away the enemy. One can freely control the power of this technique with the amount chakra one releases. Having many variations, this is a basic Water Release technique.
~Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique [Suiton: Suiryūdan no Jutsu] :: Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique is a giant, powerful dragon created out of water. This jutsu needs 42 hand seals, the most amount of hand seals necessary to use a jutsu shown in the series. Another drawback to the technique is that it requires the user to be near a large body of water to complete the technique. The words to this jutsu seem to be very simple but in this case the words come and go quickly. With each hand sign, there is a word that goes along with it.
~Water Release: Water Encampment Wall [Suiton: Suijinheki] :: This defensive jutsu creates a wall of water that can be up to 360° if necessary. This wall of water is especially efficient at stopping fire techniques though is unable to defend against elemental fusion and combination techniques.
~Water Release: Water Fang Bullet [Suiton: Suigadan] :: This jutsu creates a circle of crushing water spikes around the opponent. It is very difficult to evade, however it will also require a sufficient water source nearby the target, preferably right below it.
~Water Release: Water Shockwave [Suiton: Suishōha] :: This technique allows the user to make a spiraling vortex of water from the moisture in the air. The vortex then proceeds to explode from the top in the form of a wave, to which the user can control the direction the wave goes.
~Water Release: Waterfall Basin Technique [Suiton: Takitsubo no Jutsu] :: This jutsu will summon a large amount of water from the ground to form a wave to drench the area.
Theme Songs(s): Optional, but they're fun to do. Max 7 songs.
Extra Notes: Even though I tried to make him heterosexual, I couldn't help myself. I can't imagine him as straight, no matter how hard I try... Dx

It had been at least three or four days since Kogitsune had become the living, breathing, and not totally-in-health contract between Hoshigakure no Sato and Konohagakure no Sato, and he had finally been able to secure a moment of peace to himself; however, the "peace" wasn't as relaxing as he had hoped it to be. He had heard from some of the villagers in Konohagakure no Sato that Otafuku Town - second to Tanzaku Town, of course - was an excellent way to relax and shop. It seemed to be a hotspot for vendors, but thanks to Kogitsune's horrid sense of direction, he had gotten lost for the upteenth time in the past two hours, finding himself in the same places over and over again. It seemed no matter how many people he asked for directions to a hotel or a place to eat that he got the same directions or completely different ones, and the roads threw him completely off, sending him back to where he started.
Currently, he was standing in front of the same dango vendor that he had come across at least three times before. When the vendor noticed the confused young man, he laughed and asked if Kogitsune had found the hotel yet.
"Sadly, I am still unable to find the hotel," he sighed, drooping his shoulders and lightly shaking his head. As the sweet scent of the dango wafted his way, Kogitsune's stomach gave a loud growl, and he blushed madly, placing a hand over the organ in an attempt to calm it down. "And I have yet to a restaurant..."
The vendor smiled and shook his head, then reached into his cart and pulled out two dango and held them out to Kogitsune. "Free of charge!" he laughed, laughing heartily at the foreigner.
"I... I could not take those without paying...," Kogitsune told the other, holding up both hands with a saddened look on his face.
"If I don't give these to you, I think you'll starve, young'n!" He waved the dango at Kogitsune, and after a few more minutes of coaxing, the shinobi finally gave in and received them while deeply bowing to the vendor, but he pushed Kogitsune on his way before the other could thank him further.
Now Kogitsune was in a bind. It wasn't that he didn't like sweets... It's just that he didn't like them enough to eat two entire dango by himself. He began scanning the area until he spotted a handsome man in odd attire. Confused once again for a few seconds, Kogitsune began following the other in hopes that the man knew where he was going... or at least had some vague idea.
