Maito gai had been walking around, looking for Neji and TenTen. Lee had been on a long mission, which would help the other two to improve on their training while Lee was away. Lee, was always the youthful and most energetic of the group. But Neji always seemed like the gloomy type. Tenten seemed youthful but not youthful enough. It was now his mission to make both youthful as his other pupil Lee.
A trail of smoke blazed behind Gai as he passed Kakashi in the alley, reaading his book that was published by the toad sage Jiraya. He wuickly made off to the shop, where they had Gai's and Lee's outfits made at, and within the hour, two suits, according to neji's and tenten's size where made. But now the difficult part was finding the two.
Gai ran up and down streets in konoha looking for them. But he caught sight of them in a ramen bar not too far from his location. Gai came up behind them and said "Okay, time to make you more youthful!"

Stand In The Rain, Stand Your Ground, Stand Up When It's All Crashing Down... ~She Doesn't Know Why, But She Knows That When She's All Alone, Feels Like It's All Coming Down~❃♈❃ тєитєи ❃♈❃"Okay, if you insist, remember you asked for it!" ______________________________________________________________________________________ Today was a rather normal day for Tenten; the sun was shining as bright as it should have at nine o'clock in the morning, birds were out, and not a cloud but the wispy cirrus blankets that streaked the sky was in sight. Once again she was off to meet up with Neji, for one of their usual training sessions. In all honesty, it was much better with the teen who'd been a little more revered and slightly bitter in his younger years - Tenten was sure he couldn't help but admit the fact himself - rather than spending time with their other, more immature and obnoxious members of the team.
And yes, that fact was also another that anyone could admit. Lee and Gai-sensei were rather obnoxious and very twin-like in their ways, straight down to their physical appearance and attire. While Lee looked a lot younger than Gai-sensei might have, the fact that Lee had already shimmied up to Jounin and gotten his always-wanted green vest had only made things worse. Tenten was sure she would have lost her sanity if not for Neji to keep her from going such.
There were a number of other great things that her and Neji had done and experienced together other than just their... Rather strange team. In his younger years, Neji had been quite the bitter child, and while Tenten had never really learned the reason behind it, it seemed that she had been the only one he had respected. That respect had given Tenten a small sense of pride, and in return had kindled a friendship between the two that hadn't every really been broken like some. The two rarely fought with each other, and in all honesty, they were probably the only one that knew the other the best.
And today was no different; Tenten was off to meet with Neji again for another of their meetings, as they could be called, where they more or less trained with a better sense of sanity than with their teammates. However, Gai-sensei had announced quite an interesting proposal, and with her knowledge of the Hyuuga boy, it was more than likely that he would want to avoid such a situation if at all possible. Because Lee had been out on a fairly long mission, Gai-sensei had announced that the three of them train together... And while Tenten wasn't sure that Neji had heard about it, she was sure that the duo would be out of there faster than anyone could blink. Of course, the fact that Gai-sensei had told her while she'd been working in her mother's weapons shop gave her quite the indication that chances were, Neji didn't know.
Reaching their common meeting place, Tenten stopped. Neji wasn't here yet, but that was to be expected; it wasn't as if he was not a punctual man, but rather that Tenten had been a little early. She hoped that Neji would hurry soon, but her thoughts were turned at the sound of a familiar voice nearby... The kunoichi's chocolate orbs widened in sudden surprise, and with one of the quickest movements, she had her back flat to a tree, looking as if she were holding her breath, and listening very carefully. Now she really hoped Neji would show up and at least cover for the both of them... He wasn't a Jounin now for nothing, that was sure. ______________________________________________________________________________________ You Stand Through The Pain, You Won't Drown, And One Day What's Lost Can Be Found...

Neji trodded along the street in Konoha that would lead him to where he and Tenten were supposed to meet: Ichiraku Ramen. Although it seemed like a place taht Naruto would have requested, he wasn't complaining. Perhaps the two of them would get a meal there before training, though he would have enjoyed it much more afterwards, of course. That way, something wouldn't happen to make him sick during the session that would cause him to lose his lunch. Just thinking of that made him remember when he was force-fed that unbelieveably spicy soup that the old woman and her son - or was it grandson? He couldn't recall - created.
He sighed at the memory and continued meandering through the village a slow pace until he finally remembered exactly why the two of them were meeting up in the first place.
Gai-sensei and Lee... the two were practically inseperable, but now that Lee had been sent on a mission, the sensei had decided at that moment to spend some "quality time" with the other two of his team that he hadn't been able to connect with well at all yet. Perhaps he thought that "keeping their youth" would bring them closer together when, in all reality, it would pry them further apart. Neji didn't understand why the youth that the sensei continued preaching about was so important, but he was absolutely not going to take part in any of the shinanigans that his teacher was going to toss at them. He knew very well that Tenten would give in before he did, and for his stubbornness, he was slightly proud. The only way that he was going to have anything to do with Gai-sensei while Lee wasn't around would be if he would give up on his "youth" lectures and just act like a normal person for a few days. Even a few minutes would be refreshing.
He rounded the corner to find none other than the thick-eyebrowed teacher yelping about youth. Which meant that Neji was going to ignore him.
He sensed that Tenten was in hiding and glanced upwards to see that had encased herself in the foliage and assumed that he would have to ignore the other later. "Don't you think we should find Tenten first, Gai-sensei?" he inquired, taking a few more steps toward his teacher.

In a flash, it seemed that he had lost both sight of tenten, but caught sight of neji. Still holding the two training suits that he and lee wore, a gleam sparkled in Gai's eyes that brought one of those moments. "You're absolutley right Neji!" said Gai as he threw horrid excuse for fashion at Neji and told him to put it on. "Start Off with 1000 laps around konoha, in the meantime, ill search for tenten." said Gai as he turned around and gave neji a smile. The smile sparkled as usual, and gai eventually ran around, looking for tenten, with the green suit flying in the wind.

Stand In The Rain, Stand Your Ground, Stand Up When It's All Crashing Down... ~She Doesn't Know Why, But She Knows That When She's All Alone, Feels Like It's All Coming Down~❃♈❃ тєитєи ❃♈❃"Okay, if you insist, remember you asked for it!" ______________________________________________________________________________________ Cruelty. Absolutely pure and unadulterated cruelty. Tenten twitched slightly as Neji mentioned below her to Gai going to search... But thankfully, Gai couldn't find her as well as the Hyuuga teen could. Holding her breath as Gai went away from her to seemingly look for her, Tenten leaped down directly in front of Neji and placed both hands on her hips, staring him down with an intense look that literally spoke the words, 'you are cruel and malicious.' She didn't have to physically speak the words for anyone to understand him.
"If you are planning to subject us to this sort of insanity, Hyuuga Neji, you will become my pincusion." While the pincushion jokes were a little old, she was being rather serious and yet humorous at the same time, because she was fairly sure Neji wouldn't want to be subjected to something as insane as this. "You're supposed to be the stubborn one..." Intently she took a single step towards him, scheming flickering behind those chocolate eyes. Looking up and towards the right, she pondered for a minute.
Taking a few more steps towards him, she lowered her voice into a tone that only he would be able to hear, and even barely at the distance they were at. "I really don't think I want to be forced into that insanely... disgusting attire the two of them seem to think is, er... "cool"? And I'm sure you don't want to, either," Tenten added, her hands becoming repositioned on her hips. She wasn't going to let either of them subject her to something so irrational and irritating such as that. ______________________________________________________________________________________ You Stand Through The Pain, You Won't Drown, And One Day What's Lost Can Be Found...

Neji didn't make a move to save the green monstrosity as he allowed it to hit him in the chest and flutter to the ground in a clump of disgusting-ness. He didn't understand the reason that Gai and Lee were so attached to the skin-light clothing that would obviously strangle any sort of animal without brains... and he was positive that his sensei and male teammate were lacking in the intelligence department.
He didn't give a passing glance to his sensei when he dashed off to search for a not-missing Tenten who hopped down in front of the teen as soon as the thick-browed man was long gone.
Neji gave a light smirk and a cocked eyebrow at the pincushion comment. "I'll take you up on that." He began walking towards the outskirts of town and away from their teacher to train with his sane teammate. There was no way in Hell that he was going to put on that piece of... whatever it was and run laps around Konoha. That was Lee's job, and as far as he was concerned, it was only Lee's job. He would never be seen in his life doing anything as embarrassing as that.
