Normally on a bright sunny morning many people would be out and about. Doing stuff that was well in the active category. Like going for a job some where. Or if you were a ninja , you were probably train some where. For an upcoming mission that you might have. So , you were ready for it , so it would go well.

Unless you happen to be Shikamaru Nara of the Nara clan. Shika had other plans that sunny afternoon. The Young chunnin had mission up the wazo lately. What a drag he thought to himself with a yawn. As he arrived at the leaf village hot springs. he had come here to take a dip.

But deiced it was too troublesome to walk all the way to the door. And then get undressed and get it to the water. To only have to do it in reverse later. So , instead he layed down outside the hot spring building.Not caring if he got stepped on. He would worry about that if the moment arose. So, with another sigh of boredom he placed his arms be hide his head. And watched the clouds roll on by.

Ino had just finished changing and was now heading out of the hot springs, her hair was alittle damp but as usual was tied up into a high ponytail and her right side her face covered by her bangs. She was also carrying her towel on her left arm.

Ino slid open the doors, her eyes closed as she felt the suns heat warm her skin. Slowly she began to walk down the wooden pathway to wards the little steps. Before Ino could even manage to step down, her foot caught on something, or someone.

Quickly she caught herself from hitting her face flat upon the floor. Angrily she turned to see Shikamaru. "Shikamaru!!" she yelled waving her fist in frustration. "That isn't a safe place for you to be lazy, go do it somewhere else where no one can break their neck!" Ino kicked him not with all her strength but enough to hurt.

Shika made a face to him self , let go an annoyed sigh. What a drag he thought to himself in annoyance. Wondering if he ignore her she would go away. Its ino what drag he told him self. Knowing that she would get even more mad at him. If he ignored her for a long enough time. He decied to try it for the heck of it.

What the worst that could happen he thought calmly. Before letting go another lazy sigh. As he started up at the puffy clouds. That were rolling along the sky above the hides. Man clouds got it easy. A queit life with no one to scream at them. For sitting into one place for so long. Sounds like the ideal life for me.

The brunette said to himself inside his brunette head. Before closing his eyes gently and slowly. So , it would look like he had fallen asleep. As attempt to throw his blond teammamte off. He knew it probably would't work. But he he thought what the heck try it any way.

Ino stared down at Shikmaru as she waited for him to get his lazy ass up, but instead he lay there, sighing. Giving him the benefit of the doubt she waited alittle longer for him to move but once he didn't she found herself getting more angry. "SHIKMARU!!!" She yelled grabbing hold of the back of his collar.

"If you don't move, i move you" She yelled once again dragging him away from the steps to the side alittle more so no one else could trip over him. Letting him go she crossed her arms over her chest and turned her nose up at him "You're such a lazy bum"


Ino looked around the place, she had no where else to be at the moment, so instead of going back home and spending countless hours at the flower shop, she sat beside Shikamaru.not caring if it bothered him or not.

Shikamaru made a face at his teammates actions. And let go another sigh of boredom come from his lips. Man women are so moody. What a drag he thought to himself calmly. Before letting out a small yawn , looking at the blond for a seconds. Wondering what had got her panties in a bunch today. " whatever" he said simply to her in an unfaced tone of voice.

Before looking up at the clouds above his head. As they drifted passed , probably singing their own happy song. The brunette let out a sigh. When he saw a cloud that looked light a pillow. Man a nap sounds so good right now. He thought with a small sigh. Wishing he could take a nice relaxing nap right now. Or perhaps play a little game of shogi.

He hadn't played a good game of shogi in a like a week. But , he had no clue were his usual shogi partner was off too. And he knew ino probably wouldn't wanna play with him. Plus she probably would 't be much of a challenge. But , whatever at least that would be sort of doing something. And it would probably get ino off his case, " wanna play shogi?"he asked the blond calmly. Figuring it was worth a shot anyway.[/size]

Ino leaned back, letting out a huge sigh, as if a hint for Shikamaru to atleast bother to start a conversation. "You're so boring" she mumbled while closing her eyes and dropping her head in a huff. He was being his usual self which Ino hated, right now she needed a good wholesome conversation with someone.

Maybe i could try and start up a conversation. Ino thought to herself while fiddling with her thumb. "I haven't seen you in awhile Shikarmaru, you've missed a couple of pretty amazing days, are you going to the ball? i think you should. Perhaps you could take someone from the village ..or perhaps someone from a different village" Ino stated obviously with a small smirk, Ino had a good eye when it came to things like that, an example would be Asuma and Kurenai. Ino's hinting towards his possible affection for Temari would most likely be a failure seeing as Shika never really listened to her anyway.

"Shogi? How do you play it?" Ino asked her voice little puzzled, she had never played the game but she had seen Asuma and Shikamaru play it countless times.

Shika made a face at ino hint about the ball. He frankly wasn't really playing on going. Seeing he really didn't have anyone to go with. Expect that blond chick temari from the sand. But she could be such a drag sometime. And he had not really seen her i quite awhile. It made he wonder were she was of to these days.

Of course he could go looking for around the village. But that would be such a hassle to do. And that would mean getting up. Then he would have to skip his afternoon nap. Which then would result in his mother finding him. He deiced against it , not wanting to risk it. If he saw her he might say something about. But only if he happen to see her.

" balls aren't really my thing" he told ino with a sigh Before closing his eyes and opening it " you just move the pieces in there assigned ways." he explained in response to her question about shogi. He could go into more detail about it. But that sounded like a total drag and half. Or he could get her the owners manual. But then he would have to go looking for it. What a drag..[/size]

Ino sighed back towards Shika, this 'conversation' idea was going no where. "Ball's aren't you thing? You mean, dancing, small talk and hanging around with you're friends aren't your thing?" Ino replied sarcastically towards Shikamaru before shaking her head.

"Well I'll give it a shot, you never know I might just be better than you" Ino spoke now surprisingly perky, now that could be quite a turn out if Ino could beat Shimmery, even if it was ..impossible. Ino picked herself off the ground and gave a casual hair flick.

" Let's go play shogi!" Ino shouted with enthusiasm.

Shika let out small yawn from his mouth. And deiced to ignore ino's first comment. Because she probably could figure out his answer to that. Which would be what drag so troublesome. Balls weren't really his thing. Because well they were no place for a nap. It was to loud and no one would care. It was like a troublesome A ranked mission.

That he could not take a cat nap on. " OK the board in my house".He said with a yawn , as he held his keys out." oh and be careful my moms in a bad mood," he added effortlessly to the blond girl. Hoping she would not get down his throat. For asking her to go get the bored. That that was sitting on his bed in his room. All neatly set up with an occasional piece on the floor.

So he could sneak a quick nap while she was gone. With out he her being the wiser...[/size]

Ino stared down out Shikamaru's keys, the nerve of him! wanting to her to go get the board, what a lazy ass. "Why you.." Ino started but stopped, she would get him back and she knew the perfect way how. Ino snatched the keys from his hand and made her way to wards his house.

Ino reached the end of the road, looking to wards all the houses, trying to remember what his house looked like. It wasn't until she noticed his mom just outside that she slowly walked to wards his door. Ino would admit she was kind of scared of his mom.

Waiting til his mom walked back into the house did she decide to go in herself. Slowly opening the door she peeked through and ran to wards his bedroom, picking up what she only guessed was the shogi board. Ino slid it under her arm and made her way to wards the front door.

before Ino left the house she smirked evilly. Ino walked out to wards his mo and coughed to get her attention. "Hello, I just wanted to see how you were feeling, I mean Shikamaru told me you were being really moody and was being really insensitive, but you look fine, so I'm gonna go, Nice talking to you, Bye" Ino rushed off before she could feel the wrath of His mom, at least now Ino got her own back, Shikamaru would most likely get a tongue lashing from his parents when he got back.

Ino sprinted to wards Shikmaru, throwing the board to wards him. "Here"

[Shika blinked boredly at the blond girl for a couple seconds. He could tell she was up to something from her face. Along with the way she said here to him. What drag he thought in and exausted way to himself. Hoping he was wrong for once in his life. He signed and sat up with a bored look on his face.

Before taking the bored from the blond teammate before him. And then boardly set up the shogi board. So , all the parts were on there assign sqaures. Once he was finished he let out and long yawn escape him mouth. As he move his pawn piece forward a space. While planning his next move in his head. Picture all the things he could do. Once ino moved her first piece.
