Ino entered the festival grounds, the air was buzzing with excitement as children and adults raced to try out the games. It was unusual to see so many masked faces, some looked pretty damn ugly, others looked elegant.Ino took this as an opportunity to get out of her usual kunoichi attire and try out something different.

Ino's hair was as usual tied back into a high ponytail with the except of a butterfly hair piece. Her purple combat gear was replaced by a short purple kimono with blue lining. on the left side was a beaded butterfly delicately sown into the material. Upon her feet were a pair of plain wooden sandals that you'd find pretty much everyone here wearing.

Ino squeezed past the crowds to wards the festival games, being the competitive type she was up for a challenge, yet she had no one to compete against. I'll challenge myself, Ino made her way to wards the 'Whack a Gofer' game and picked up the small sponge mallet.

I got you know Ino thought to herself as she saw the small plastic gofer appear from one of the holes, swiftly she whacked it, then another one appeared, then another and then another til she was whacking gofers all over the place. It wasn't until the man owning the stand had to pull her away. I am sorry, but you're holding up the queue Ino was dragged away to the back of the queue. " What but i was winning!!"
Ino may have been throw off a game yet she regained her cool and sat down upon a nearby bar stool.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba moved along smoothly, although he hated being dressed up as he moved along in a male styled Kimono which was midnight black and had long white, slightly baggy pants with his wooden type sandals and a ferocious looking wolf mask. "Meh, I could care less for these damn clothes..." Kiba muttered to himself, dodging through this crowd, making sure he didn't run into someone.

"Ugh...this place is pretty packed, this is kinda cool..." Kiba whispered, moving along by the games and stopping when he noticed a familiar sight, a girl with her blond hair pulled up and hanging around in a beautiful flowing purple dress and stylized with a butterfly.

"Hehe...Time to go say hello..." Kiba whispered to himself, slowly striding up to Ino and stopping behind her. "Hey!! Remember me? I was about to eat you remember!?!? Rawr!!" Kiba said, joking around with her and slowly pulling up his mask to reveal his red fang markings, short, messy black hair, beast eyes and toothy grin.

"Whats up Ino? Why are you sitting here? There's a festival going on in case you forgot..."

Ino's arms were folded tightly across her chest, even if she told herself that she was calm, it was obvious to see she was still pissed. ' Well i think I deserved a prize, I mean who can whack that many gofers?' But Ino knew better that to cause a scene, especially something so silly as ' Whack a Gofer'.

Ino seemed to be one of the few not wearing a mask, she never thought she'd feel like the odd one out when surrounded by what seemed to be foxes, cats, dragons,serpents and ..Kiba?. Ino had turned her head to wards Kiba's voice, she attempted to smile while her brow twitched in anger. "Careful Kiba, I see a big rock with your name on it."

Ino was kidding, though if Kiba had the guts to push it, it wouldn't be far from the truth. "I didn't forget " she turned her head in a huff. "I just got kicked off a game, so I'm cooling myself down" Ino jumped off the bar stool, the sound of her sandals were cushioned by the soft ground. "Oh well, theres always more games, right"

Now Kiba was here she could have some competitive fun, sure going against herself was fun but seeing someone else's miserable face when they lose had to be much better. Ino took Kiba's wrist and starting to drag him through the crowds.

"Ohh...come on Ino, I'm just playing around...you know that." Kiba said lowly, still smirking. "Ohh...you got kicked off of Whack a gopher? That's sucky...Damn Carny folks." He growled, a little cautious since Ino seemed to be in a little sour mood. "Those people always try to rip you off....no matter what."

"Oh yeah, I was walking along and saw a whole bunch of games around, ones that I'm sure you'd kick butt at much more than some stupid gopher game." Kiba added, trying to help cool the blond hair girl down. "But yeah..anything but the rock..." He said, chuckling nervously.

Before he could say anything else however, Ino had begun to drag him off by his wrist. "Ahhh...Where are we going?" Kiba cried, trying to keep up with her. "More games or what?"

Ino was still dragiing Kiba around, trying to find the perfect game that would challenge her but still give her an advantage to Kiba. Perhaps the 'Milk bottle game' or 'Cross bow shoot', both requiring good aim, which Ino was sure they were both equal at. "Never call the gopher game..stupid." she replied with a small laugh, to prove she was over it.

"Come on Kiba lets go on the ring toss" Ino slyly pushed into the front of the queue pulling Kiba beside her. Paying the man at the counter she was handed five rubber rings. In front was over twenty bottles, each on different levels. The higher the bottle, the more points.

Ino went first, she took her time determining the distance and the speed, before throwing it. Once ready she let it go, the first landed on the top bottle, the second on the third row and the third second from top. Now only two go's left she needed to get both top. The fourth she was successful and got at the top.

The last go, Ino concentrated hard, the area around her became tense as she let the ring go flying to wards it target only to hit the side and fall to the floor. "What !!! " Ino yelled angrily, before she could yell anymore she was handed a very small stuffed animal...a frog.

Ino turned to Kiba with a slightly annoyed expression. "Your turn"

Kiba was pulled to a stop and watched as Ino began to play the ring toss game. "Hey, you're pretty good..." He mumbled, a little amazed as she was hitting the rings and landing them with decent precision. "Come on, one last one..." Kiba said, trying to encourage her, and then frowning as she missed the last ring and received a small stuffed frog.

"Oh geez...you want me to throw now?" Kiba asked, looking unsure. "Alright, I'll win something bigger than that measly frog." He joked, eyeing the targets with concentration. "This'll be just like throwing kunai or shuriken..." He growled, tossing the first one and having it land on the second row, just below the top bottle. "Alright, not bad..."

Kiba continued to work the rings, making sure they hit targets. The second one was lofted into the air and once again landed just below the top bottle on the second row. His third attempt landed on the third row and fourth landed on the next to last row.

"Aww man, this one's gotta be perfect...and I'm not losing to Ino..." Kiba thought to himself, biting his lip. "Oh well, here goes..." He muttered, tossing his last ring as hard and high as he could, and as it came down, it skimmed the top bottle and landed back on the second row.

"I thought I had it..." Kiba growled, at least happy that he landed all 5 rings, it earned him a medium stuffed teddy bear or dog, but Kiba didn't want Ino to have some small frog. "Hey Ino, which would you rather have?"

Ino watched Kiba, holding onto her ugly prize tightly, out of the whole festival it Ino seemed to be the only one tense, everyone else seemed to be yawning or walking around aimlessly. "You can do it Kiba!" she yelled alittle too loudly while punching the air.

Wait, i shouldn't be cheering him, He will bet me! but it was too late Kiba managed to get all five rings on all bottles. "Damnnit." She whispered hopefully to quiet for him to hear. Ino was hoping to beat Kiba not be beaten by Kiba, Agh what a drag Ino immediately hit herself, she had been hanging around with Shikamaru too much.

Expecting Kiba to gloat she slowly lowered her head in shame, but was caught off guard by his question. "Me?" her voice was surprised yet confused. "The dog then... please" Ino replied looking down to her small frog.

"It will remind me of you" Ino looked back up and smiled widely while passing the frog to Kiba. "Hopefully this wont remind you of me"

The game operator handed down the red dog to Kiba and he passed it to Ino and she passed him the frog. "Uhh...of course not, it doesn't remind me of you, I'll probably just laugh knowing I outthrew you on ring toss." Kiba joked, beginning to needle her for losing.

Being the jokester that he was, Kiba put the frog on top of his head and laughed. "Alright, so what do you wanna get beaten in next?" The Inuzuka boy asked, having a much better time than he expected to.

"Seriously, I feel like I could win a major prize now tonight." Kiba gloated, smirking at the blond.

Spoke too soon Ino slowly took the stuffed animal, her brow started to twitch again as he finally decided to gloat. For this moment she would let him have his fun, because the next game she was sure as hell gonna kick his ass. But maybe she will steer clear of the games that requires aim for a while.

"Tip of the Ice burg Kiba" Ino was so tempted to knock the frog off his head but stopped herself, she liked Kiba right? so maybe attempting to be nice to him might work, then again there was all that stuff about ' being yourself' that Ino found hard to ignore.

"I guess you can decide the next game" She hugged the red dog close to her while looking about the crowds, now she had lost she didn't feel as pumped as she was before. "But dont think you'll be winning again"

[Kiba Inuzuka]

Kiba chuckled, knowing how flustered Ino can get sometimes and immediately eyed the next carnival game. He was sure to stick to the things that took aim into consideration for a bit and this one surely did. "Hope you can throw darts..." Kiba said simply, leading her over to a booth filled with balloons stuck to the far wall with different colored balloons on each height level, indicating smaller prizes from bigger.

"Alright, try to beat this Ino..." Kiba smirked, taking his five darts and lining up his shot. The Inuzuka boy threw the first dart and second dart and totally missed. not hitting a single balloon. "No way...I'm not missing again...."

Kiba was right about that, as he popped a balloon on each of his last tosses, earning him a small plush snake. "Awww...I can't stand snakes..." Kiba groaned, sighing lightly. "Well Ino, lets see what you've got..." He said with a small grin, wrapping the snake around his neck playfully.

Another aiming game! Ino followed him reluctantly, still clinging hold of her stuffed dog like a child. Maybe this time is she put all her anger towards losing her last game she might just beat Kiba at this one. "Sure, I can throw darts.." Ino spoke proudly, which truth was she'd never really bothered to actually play darts.

Ino watched Kiba, it was hard to concentrate of the game at hand when he still had a frog on his head. Man he must have the flattest head in the world Ino wondered with a small giggle. Now she felt alittle better after losing even if it was at Kiba's expense.

Ino laughed at Kiba's score, she was now more determined than ever to win this game, well beat his score, which by the looks of how he did, didn't seem too bad. Ino was handed her darts, and slowly she pushed all her anger into that one dart.

On the first three goes she managed to hit a all three balloons on one row, but missed on her remaining tries. "WHAT! This game is rigged!" Ino shouted feeling feeling her cheeks burn up at how silly she was beginning to sound. Ino was given the same prize as Kiba except the snake was bright pink.

Ino turned to Kiba and frowned. "Dont you dare say a thing" With that, Ino wrapped the snake around her neck like a scarf. She may not have beaten him, but she didn't lose either.

Kiba sighed in relief as Ino tied him, although he really couldn't brag or say anything about it. "Yeah, yeah..." He muttered. "I can't say anything about that one, we tied...but I gotta say that pink snake compliments your hair." He joked, even though he knew he looked silly with a green frog on his head and snake around his neck.

"I'm just glad I'm not playing Tenten or someone like that...I'd been laughed at by now." Kiba groaned, although still slightly poking at Ino. "Your turn to pick a game, you're bound to get lucky sometime right?"

That was true, atleast he couldn't take say anything to her. Ino laughed and looked down at the pink snake. "Hm, i Think pink might be more your color" She teased before moving on her tip toes to see over the crowds to wards the games. Finally she was sure she found one that wouldn't require skill, but luck.

Ino walked to a red stall, in the middle was small pool filled with ducks, the aim of the game was too hook a duck and at the bottom of it would be a number, each number has a prize to it. Ino was handed a long rod with a small hook on the end.

She had her eyes set on one of the farthest ducks. Ino gave Kiba her dog teddy to hold ash she leaned as far as she could over the pool while attempting to hook the duck. After a few minutes she succeeded. The clerk turned the duck over and revealed number 23 .

The prize was a small water gun, though it didn't seem much, ino could see it being useful at some point today.

Kiba joked back at Ino, "Hmmph, Wanna trade snakes then?" He asked, not afraid to wear some hot pink stuffed snake around his neck. "Oh great, she found the stupid duck game...I hate this thing, I always hook number 13 and always get some lame prize..." Kiba thought to himself.

He watched as Ino leaned out and hooked a rubber duckie with a 23 on it. "Meh, that'll be nothing..." Kiba thought to himself, not even watching as the clerk handed Ino a water gun, not thinking anything about what she'd do with it.

"Alright, I'll hook me something better then..." Kiba said, taking the long rod and placing the hook in the water and quickly snatching a duck. The clerk turned it over and to Kiba's shock...it was number 13!!!

"Aww no..." Kiba growled, and was handed a chinese finger trap. "Damnit, I hate these things, because I either get my finger stuck...or..." Kiba paused, maneuvering his clawed fingers in the little prize, just before it snapped.

"I break it...." He finished, looking depressed for a moment. "Grr.....you got lucky..." Kiba growled. "Find another...you won't beat me again."

Ino slyly dipped her water gun into the small pool til it was filled up, just before watching Kiba hook his duck and by the look on his face he didnt seem at all pleased when the number was called. Looking towards his prize she laughed.

Ino had remembered when she was a child she had been stuck in one them for a whole day and had never been near one since. "Ah well, you're just not as lucky as i am" she teased taking off her snake.

Ino swapped there snakes around before patting him on the head, hoping to cheer him after his prize broke. " Yup, Pink is definitely your color" Ino turned on her heel and looked around for another game.

"I think it's you're turn to pick anyway " Ino spoke turning back towards him, not without squirting him in the face with her water gun. "hahaha!!" Ino laughed as she skipped off into the crowd.
