Ino had been walking for at least forty minutes, she wasn't tired or out of breath and her feet didn't hurt, the only problem was, she had no idea where she was, though she would never admit that out loud. " Now let's see...If that way is north and that was is..east..?..then Konoha should be that way!" Ino smiled triumphantly before taking the west past, hoping it would lead to the village.

Another forty minutes had passed, and there was no sign of the village anywhere. " Why am I out here again?" her mind went back as she tried to remember her exact reason she had came to the forest.It had finally come to her, how could she have forgotten, she had ran out here away from chouji after 'accidentally calling him a lard ass, she had also forgotten how fast that lard ass could run.

"This is useless..." She looked around at her surroundings, trying to find something that would set off recognition, instead all there was was..trees,trees and more trees. Ino felt embarrassed after all this time living near the forest and constantly going back and forth through it she has never been lost since now, the only difference was now she was on her own. " It wont take them long to realize I'm gone." she reassured herself as she Lent against a tall oak and slid down into a sitting position.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"What the hell?" Kiba muttered as he made his way through the village streets, he caught glimpse of Choji as the big boy was still complaining and moaning about what happened between Ino and him, although he wasn't sure exactly what happened. "Heh, a little team drama? So where the heck did Ino go if she's not with her team?" Kiba muttered to himself.

Kiba jumped off of Akamaru and growled at Choji, "Hey easy...easy!! Where the hell did girly girl run off to?" He asked Choji. After getting the answer, the Inuzuka sighed and rolled his eyes, "Lets go find her Akamaru, it shouldn't be that hard right?" He asked the huge dog. After a bark, Kiba and Akamaru strode along, picking up a scent that seemed to run out to the forest. "What the hell did she do to piss him off now?"

After a few moments, the two stumbled into more dense brush and tree cover and the scent of some fancy shampoo and other elegant smells hit his nose at an even stronger intensity. "Thats her, I know it..." Kiba growled to himself, wandering around atop the big dog.

"Hey Ino!! What the hell are you doing out here?" Kiba cried out, trying to find her by letting her find his voice. "Are you around here?"

Ino closed her eyes for a split moment before she heard rustling in the bushes, being a Kuniochi she wasn't afraid, Ino pulled out a kunai and held it in a defensive position, she would fight whatever came, whether it be a rouge ninja or...a squirrel? Feeling embarrassed Ino sat back down, hiding her face from the rodent. "Of all the things..."

As she sat there quietly she began to imagine her life out in the forest if she find hr way home, she would have to catch her prey and eat insects...no..she'd rather starve. It had been a few more minutes, Ino had developed something new to keep her entertained, drawing pictures in the dirty with a small twig, they weren't very artistic...at all, just stick men with heart above their heads, nothing special.

Ino's head shot up as she heard a familiar voice in the distance, she couldn't quite put her finger on it, " To hell with trying to remember..." She picked herself up into a standing position and walked to wards the source of the voice, as she got closer she began to recognize it. " Kiba?"

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"Ino!! Keep talking!! I can hear you!!" Kiba cried out, shifting back to his nose and tried to quickly detect exactly where the Kuniochi was in the dense forest. "Akamaru, Do you see her?"

The huge dog let out a bark and ran off ahead, carrying Kiba at great speed towards Ino and her hidden spot. "We're coming!!" He called out. "Stay right there!!"

Within moments, Kiba and Akamaru came busting through the heavy vegetation and skidded to a stop right before Ino, with a big smirk on his face. "Well, now..." He muttered, jumping off Akamaru. "What in the heck are you doing here?"

Ino looked around the forest, she heard his voice again, it was louder but she wasnt quite sure which direction it was coming from, about to run off in any random one, she was knocked back by Akamaru landed infront of her. She fell back and landed on her butt, hard. " Ouch..." she looked up at Kiba an uncharacteristic tear in her eye. " Should be more careful"

Ino picked herself off the floor and wiped down the dirt from her clothes " I was running away from Chouji" she spoke casually wiping the last of the dirt. " I accidentally called him a lard ass and well, you kow how he gets?" Ino laughed rubbing the back of her neck nervously.

Shaking her bang to the side she looked towards Akamaru and then to Kiba, a smirk playing upon her lips. " Aww did you come to rescue me?" Ino laughed.

Kiba chuckled lightly as Ino fell to her butt. "My bad...didn't think you were right there..." He said with a grin. "But hey, we're here right? That's all that matters." He pointed out. "You wouldn't have been the first one Akamaru's run over, just ask Shino and Naruto." He added jokingly.

"Aww, you two get together better than a cat and a canary..." Kiba said mockingly, knowing about how much the two got on each other, more Ino on Choji than anything, but nonetheless, it wasn't the first time Ino had to retreat from the huge Choji. "Unfortunately I do know how he gets, I had to find out what happened from him." Kiba groaned.

Kiba matched Ino's smirk and laughed lowly, "Maybe I did...." He muttered. "If you consider this a rescue..." Kiba said playfully.

Ino looked at Akamaru, he was huge, just thinking about the amount he weighed made her shiver, is he had just ran a few more steps Ino would have been a goner or shaped like a pancake for the rest of her life. She shook the feeling off and crossed her arms over her chest.

"Well deserved it..." Ino turned her head to the side in a childish manner. " Who'd have thought someone that size could run that fast." she pondered, tapping her index finger upon her bottom lip a few times, she then rolled back a few thoughts and imagined being crushed underneath Choji's weight, she shivered once again before turning back to Kiba.

"I was hoping for a knight in shining armour..." Ino smirked once again, unfolding her arms before shrugging. " I guess you'll do."

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"Nah, no one deserves to be an Akamaru pancake, we just seriously had a hard time finding you with all the trees and brush and junk." Kiba muttered, laughing slightly. "I'm not exactly sure how he got that speed either, but thats why I don't piss a big guy off like that." He said with a chuckle.

"A knight in shining armor huh?" Kiba muttered. "Heh, I'm not one for the mushy stuff, but I guess I'll take that, considering that no one else is out here for ya." He said lowly.

"So hey, should we head back? Or are you out here for another reason?" Kiba asked with a smirk on his face, picking at the blond playfully.

Ino used her hand to cover the sun from her eyes as she looked up to wards the sky, the weather was mildy warm but the sunlight was still strong enough to sting her eyes. She looked back at Kiba and raised an eyebrow. " I am sure someone else would have come for me sooner or later, you just happened to miss me quicker. " Ino matched his tone before giving a triumphant smile. In some ways it was weird to be talking to Kiba so casually, though there were classmates she hardly did ever speak to him.

Ino took another look around the forest, taking her time. " I guess I'm ready to go, but I'd rather walk back, its peaceful which is nice." She looked to wards the direction Kiba had come from, pretty sure she could make her way back on her own if Kiba decided to ride Akamaru to the village.

"Thanks for coming to my 'rescue', if you could just point me in the right direction I will be fine. " Who was she kidding she'd either get lost again or accidentally murder a squirrel.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"Yeah, you're probably right, but we can't help that we have the best noses in the village, huh Akamaru?" Kiba said jokingly and received an answer from the big white dog in the form of a loud bark. He remained off the dog as the two started walking along, Kiba noticing that Ino wanted to take her time.

"Meh, I have nothing better to do...we'll walk with ya, besides...its too easy to get lost out here off a path." Kiba pointed out, becoming a little hurt as she said to point her in the right direction. "Are you trying to get rid of me? I mean I did rescue you, you didn't wanna have eat a squirrel and camp out did you?" Kiba asked mockingly.

Ino jumped alittle at the sound of Akamaru's bark, she wasn't afraid of him, he was pretty cute, it was just that she was so used to seeing the tiny puppy that sat on Kiba's head. "I'm a big girl, I know my way round ... now" she whispered the last part to herself, hoping Kiba wouldn't have noticed.

Ino looked at Kiba for a moment she actually thought he was hurt by what she had said which made her worry, raising her hands she waved them frantically. " No no no... It's just i thought you'd rather get to the village faster, thats all" she laughed nervously while rubbing the back of her neck.

" Though camping out sounds fun." Ino began to imagine th night sky, all the star's and the cool breeze, but her mind also wandered to the gross bugs, creepy sounds and the cold. " Scratch that, sounds awful."

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"Well, alright...I never doubted that for a second, I was just a bit worried that you didn't know the way back, I mean you did look kinda worried when we finally found you, like you were really lost." Kiba pointed out, looking skeptically at Ino. He had always heard a few bad things about Ino, about how pushy and mean she could be, but right now, it was kinda different talking to her, he didn't mind it.

"Then is it cool if we hang out for a bit then and walk back with you? I'm not in any hurry to get back and if I remember right, my sister's probably going to make me help her with the animals at home, and I'd like to push that off a bit." Kiba said with a grin.

"Ino, Ino, Ino...You're forgetting the best part of it though, the campfire." Kiba muttered. "Who cares if you get a little dirt on you or you run across a bug? The best part of it is sitting at the campfire and checking the stars out, I think camping out is awesome." He said, trying to get his point across. "Anyways, its always been one of my favorite things to do."

Ino began to walk, her eyes were fixated on what was in front of her while she listened to Kiba. "Okay i will admit, I was lost, i didn't think anyone would come for me this quickly, heh " She laughed quietly while pushing her fringe to the side alittle.

She took the idea of camping again back into her mind, maybe it would be that bad, she hadn't never really gone camping, the only reason she thought of bugs and creepy noises is because she associated it with the woods. "I guess the company would be nice" Ino turned to Kiba and gave a friendly smile, though she had been lost for over an hour she was in a rather good mood.

"I've never really been camping. I guess i should try it soon heh " she tapped her index finger upon her bottom lip a few times.

[Kiba Inuzuka]

"Honestly, I didn't think we'd find you that fast, your scent just stood out that much, and not in a bad way." Kiba said with a chuckle. "Because, I caught a whiff of the shampoo or whatever you use, it was kinda different than anything I've ever smelled, kinda nice, and if I didn't pick up on that, you're still over there, waiting for help." He pointed out, grinning slightly. "And thanks for letting me stick around, I'll try not to yack your ear off..."

"Oh wow, you've never been camping?" Kiba asked in shock, his jaw dropping and eyes going wide. "Yeah, you've gotta at least try it once in your life, you really can't say you don't like it if you haven't." Kiba growled.

"Now would be a decent time of year to do it, because the weather is decent and warm, and it doesn't get too terribly cold at night, just cold enough for a fire...." He said, trying to give her some tips.

[ino]

Ino grabbed her pony tail and smelt her hair, it had a faint flower like scent, she used an ordinary shampoo but sometimes added her home made perfume to the mix, she was glad somebody took notice, before letting go of her hair she couldn't help but wave the tip of her pony tail near his face before giving a short giggle. " Well it's nice to know that my scent possibly saved me from starvation"

Ino crossed her arms and closed her eyes for a moment before laughing lightly. "Well you did find me so it's the least i could do."

Everything was quiet til Kiba reacted to her not having been camping, which made her jump alittle. "I promise i will try it out sometime during this season, when everyone isn't so busy, camping is starting to sound fun and all but alone? Would be kinda creepy. " Ino turned her head forward again letting her arms sling loosely beside her.
