Appearance:

Temari has a small, round, and pale face. The expression that display on her face more of the time is a serious one, but don't be fooled she knows how to let lose and have fun. Her Suna headband is tied neatly around her forehead that allows her bangs to stay out of her face. She wears her hair up in four different hair bands that each point in a different direction that looks like an X behind her head. Her deep black eyes follows the lead of her serious face, unless she is lost about one thing or another. When she smirks one side of her lips go further up than the other one.

She wears a full length black kimono with short sleeves, that have been cut at the sides to allow for more movement on her part. She wears a red slash around her waist and over her shoulders a red ribbon that holds her fan to her back. On her hands she wears cloves that cover the palm and the back of her had, but the fingers are cut off. She does wear shorts under her kimono and the color changes from day to day. Over her right leg she wears a fish net garment, while her sandals only have a strap over the top of her foot and her leg. The sandals about two or three inches off the ground in the back.


There are times when she goes without her headband around her forehead, and during that time she wears her hair down. When her hair is down, her bangs fall in front of her black eyes and she tends to push them back behind her ears. The rest of her hair goes down to about her shoulder blades. Tho she does not wear her headband around her forehead then it is around her neck, because she wears the symbol of the sand with pride.

She stands about 165 cm and weights about 47.9 kg. Since she turned 18, she has gotten a tattoo on her left shoulder blade. The tattoo is of a weasel with a scythe mainly because of her favorite animal is a weasel. She has a scar on the top of her foot because of a knife accident when she was younger.

Personality:

Temari tends to be overbearing at times, to the point that she is rude to most around her. Tho the ones that are normally around her knows that she is only playing around with them has it just her trying to break the ice around people. She is never afraid to speak her mind about things, and never really cares who hears her for that matter. She is quick to come up with strategy to beat most of her opponents. She is determine in everything that she does.

There is a caring side to the young Jounin. She value peace, and was confused to why the Sand was starting a war with the Leaf. She likes to read, and write short stories when she has the time to relax and not play liaison between the Sand and Leaf. She likes to joke about things when the time seems right about things.

Since the fight with Gaara and Naruto, both her relationship and Gaara have tighten. She doesn't seem him has the monster he once was, not she sees him has a young men that leads the village, and someone she still has to keep in place from time to time. She does see the bond between Gaara and Kankuro growing something that she sometimes finds herself jealous over, but she will never admit that to either of them.

She worries about both of her brothers, and fears for their lives when they are in trouble. She honesty does not know what she would do without each of them in her life. She would do anything for her brothers and all they have to do is ask.

Her relationship with Nara Shikamaru to her is a love and hate relationship. She values how smart he is, and the fact that he knows when to quite when there is nothing else can be down. She hates how he speaks about women, and hates how most of the time she finds him laying around and watching the clouds. In the long run tho she finds herself having a small crush on him, that she hates to admit to herself.

Her biggest flaw by far is that she is too confident about her own abilities. She goes into every battle thinking and knowing she will win. She does know that one day she will lose in a battle and she prays that day will never come mainly because she is afraid to how the others will view her. She doesn't want to be looked at has if she not strong like both of her younger brothers.

History:

Temari was born to the soon to be Fourth Kazekage, on August 23. Two years later Kankuro was born, at the age of three her father became Kazekage which limited the amount of time that he spent with his two children. A year later her youngest brother Gaara was born and she witness the death of her mother. She was four at the time and was unaware of why her mother was dead. She helped her uncle tend to both of her brothers before she started to learn the ninja art by one of her father's jounin specialist.

At six she entered the Sand Academy, and quickly became one of the top students in hopes to win over her father's attention. She learned soon after that it was no use to try and win over his attention and soon gave up on the matter. She started to work more and more with a jounin that specialized in wind jutsu and weapons. At eight she was given the choice of a weapon that her sensei at the time used, immediately a giant fan caught her attention she was slowly started to train in that while she kept up her grades at the academy.

After school one day and while she was training with her fan everyone started to yell and scream. Once she turned around that is when she learned about her brother Gaara and what laid within him. The sight made her sick to her stomach and made her fear Gaara to the point that she always tried to keep him happy and not piss him off. This was also when she found out why her mother had died soon after giving birth to her brother. For months she was scared to even run into Gaara in their home or even mention his name to anyone.

When she was ten she was preparing lunch for her and Kankuro one day when she didn't have a class or training with her sensei, by this time Kankuro was learning how to control puppets. She found his little acting funny, while she held a sharp knife in her hand and watched Kankuro allow one of his puppets dance around the table, her face whiten like a ghost one Gaara entered the room. Kankuro used the puppet to launch a small attack at her, at this point made her drop the knife that she was holding in her hand. It landed on her foot cutting on the side. Kankuro and their uncle rushed her to the hospital where the medics healed her, but couldn't save her from a scar.

At twelve she finally graduated from the academy and became a Genin. She had small hopes that this would please her father, but it did nothing for him. She watched has her father tried time after time to kill her brother, and she couldn't bring herself to stop her father, how could she? Most of the people wanted him dead in the village. Even with knowing everything about him she couldn't help but wish for her younger brother to remain in life. One night, while she remain awake and writing a story she heard something on the roof, she went to her window and heard her uncle and Gaara, she got a sickening feeling has she heard how her uncle hated Gaara for their mother's death and wish to kill him. After a brief moment she heard the explosion that took away her uncle. She was more determine to keep Gaara happy after this.

When she turned sixteen and both of her brothers was Genin of the village, they was all placed on the same team under the Jounin Baki. The team was called the Sand Siblings. Her father at the time gave her and Kankuro strict orders to keep Gaara calm at all the time. She couldn't help but feel like a tool to her father just like how he wanted Gaara to be the tool of the village. The fact that she was frighten by her brother and wished for him to prove the villagers wrong fueled her to keep him calm the best that she could. Tho she did enjoy the times she had away from him and be herself.

A month later after forming the team, they was told that they was going to the Hidden Leaf to take place in the Chuunin exam. Once they was at the Hidden Leaf, they first ran into Haruno Sakura, Uzumaki Naruto, and three other children. She watched Kankuro toy with Naruto and one of the younger ones until Uchiha Sasuke showed up and threw a rock at Kankuro. This surprised her mainly because she didn't even feel his appearance, but the meeting was quickly came to an end when Gaara appeared by Sasuke and told Kankuro to set the boy down. At time the three of them left the six of them standing in the street.

During the written part of the chuunin exam, just before the end of the exam Kankuro left to use the restroom. When he came back he slipped her the answers to the exam. During the time that she was not writing down her answers she was closely watching Gaara to make sure he didn't act out or anything. Not only did she watched Gaara, she made sure to watch the examines and the other Genins that was taking the exams.

The next day was the second part of the exam, only after about ten minutes into the exam they rain into some rain genin that wanted their scroll. Temari warned them not to make Gaara made, but with no luck did they heed her warning. After Gaara killed all three of genin, she and Kankuro calmed down Gaara and within 30 minutes later they reached the middle of the tower without a single cut and in record time.

She was matched up against Tenten in the preliminary part of the Chuunin Exam. She stopped each and everyone of Tenten's attacks by deflecting them with her giant fan. After she saw that Tenten was done trying to launch a range of attacks with weapons, she made her move. She used the wind her fan created to knock out the young girl and allowed her to land on her back on her fan. Then she went to throw her aside only to find the girl's team mate come and catch her.

A few days before the third part of the exam, Tenten started to question why they was about to start a war with the Leaf, she was quickly shot down by her sensei and put in her place. To her this was made no sense because the two village had been at peace with each other for a few decades now. She had not choice but to go along with this, it was the will of her father and she had no right to argue with him. Little did she know that he was already dead.

During the third part of the exam she was placed up against Nara Shikamaru, where her love and hate relationship started. She hated how he talked, she hated that he was smarted than her and got the better of her. She thought she had him all figured out but he only proved to her that looks could be wrong. She was confused when he gave up the match and allowed her to win. When he told her why he gave up, she couldn't help but soften her smile and realize truly how smart he really was.

After all chaos broke lose she and Kankuro took Gaara away when he was no longer able to fight. Only to be chased down by Sasuke, Naruto, Shino, Shikamaru, and Sakura. A tracking group dealt with Shikamaru. She allowed Kankuro go and deal with Shino, while she took care of Gaara. They came to and end when Sasuke caught up with them and Gaara wanted to fight him once more. She had no choice but to allow her brother fight Sasuke once more. The only thing she could do was pray for him not to lose control.

After the fight with Naruto, the three of them headed off to the Sand. There is when they learned about their father's death and that was when Gaara became the fifth Kazekage of the Sand. Because of the fight with Naruto she watched her brother became more gentle and have a real purpose to live. It gave her a reason to truly protect her brother and make sure no one tried to kill him once more.

Two months later, the Siblings came to the aid of the Leaf, when the Sound was on the move once more. Temari came face to face with Tayuga and came to the aid of Shikamaru. She couldn't help but smirk at the fact that he of all people needed her aid. With a few quick attacks and her summoning Kamatari the weasel she quickly ended the life of Tayuga. That was when she traveled back to the leaf and watch for the first time Shikamaru have a mental break down of being the one in charge of the ground. She quickly placed him in his place that he had to be there for his friends and not allow someone else lead his friends into danger and that he had a better chance of them coming back without much of a problem.

A year and a half later during another Chuunin exam she became a Chuunin. She not only was promoted but at this time she became the liaison between the Leaf and Sand. She started to help with the preparations of the exams that would take place either in the Sand or Leaf. She even decided to rent an apartment there because of how much time she is in the village and hated to waste all her earnings on a hotel room. Her relationship with both of her brothers was growing along with a strange relationship with Shikamaru.

Just about half a year later she was promoted along side of Kankuro to the rank of Jounin. Both her and Kankuro was assigned to a mission to gather information on the Akatsuki because of their growing threat to villages around the world. During that time she took a blow her her rib cage that nearly broke five of her ribs. This was when she realize that she need more than just her fan to defend herself and started to work more on Wind jutsu with her fan than just the onces that she knew already. She also took up learning the Shadow Clone jutsu from Kakashi when she was in the Hidden Leaf village.

Weapons:

Large Fan :: The sides of the fan are black, there a small corner like fan at the end of the fan. The big fan is white, and has three purple moons on it. Has Temari increasing the moons that are seen the power increases has well. Temari has learn to place her own chakra into the fan to make it more deadly in her attacks. She also uses it to defend herself from in coming attacks from other weapons. She can also use the fan with it is close to just beat up on her target.

Known Jutsu:

Cutting Whirlwind Technique [Kamaitachi no Jutsu] :: Type: C-rank, Offensive, Short to mid-range (0-10m)[1]
This bold move is Temari's specialty. By freely manipulating the gale brought forth by her Iron Fan, the many air currents collide and create vacuums pockets. The person enveloped by this gale is assaulted by countless invisible blades, carving up their body. Also, the strong wind power will blow away all incoming projectile weapons and will even make the opponent unable to stay on their feet.


Dust Wind Technique [Fūsajin no Jutsu] :: Type: C, Defensive Temari creates a gust of wind that layers an area in loose sand and dust. Doing so also acts as a sandblaster on the surrounding area, causing the surface of trees to become like saw dust. This layer of debris makes it difficult for others to get a good footing. The initial gust can also temporarily blind opponents by lodging sand in their eyes.

Great Cutting Whirlwind Technique [Daikamaitachi no Jutsu] :: Type: B-rank, Offensive, Defensive, All ranges[10m] This jutsu is a more powerful version of the Cutting Whirlwind Technique. This jutsu can deflect physical and sound wave attacks and attack at the same time, making it both an offensive and defensive jutsu. .

Iron Fan [Tetsu Aoru] :: Temari's iron fan has three purple circles along its body that she calls moons. The strength of the gusts of wind she creates is indicated by how many moons are shown (one being the weakest, three being the strongest). The fan itself can also be used as a club or to block attacks. Temari's fan also seems to be able to deflect kunai and shuriken when opened and planted into the ground. This suggests that Temari's fan paper may be made out of some sort of steel.

Summoning: Quick Beheading Dance [Kuchiyose: Kirikiri Mai] :: Type: B-rank, Offensive, All ranges This is one of Temari's most devastating techniques. She summons Kamatari; a one-eyed, sickle holding weasel, who after its starts moving becomes invisible to the unaided human eye. It can cause a lot of damage in a short amount of time.

Pressure Damage [Atsugai] :: is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. Temari uses this attack, with her fan and chakra. She stores a large amount of chakra into her fan and can only use this move while her fan shows three moons. She may only use this once maybe twice a day.

Hair Wind [Kamikaze] :: With the help of her fanand chakra, she able to devide up her wind into pillars, nearly like spinning pillars that she uses to catch her enemy off guard or make them change their direction to her. She can use this move while there are two moons on her fan.

Gale Wind Palm [Reppushou] :: Fuuton • Reppushou is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Wind Element. This sends a strong gust of wind at one target. This can be used with one Moon Showing.

It was nearly mid afternoon has one shinobi walked among the streets of Sunagakure to reach the Kazekage office. She held two or three files in her left arm, each with a good amount of paper squashed in between the yellow slips. A fan was on her back, and the bottom of her full kimono. Her black headband held back her blond hair. Her eyes match her outfit which was black besides the ribbon around her shoulder and her sash which both of these was red. She was closely has the children ran around playing with a ball. She remember those day but they was in the distance past in her mind. Now a days it was make trips back and further between to hidden villages. Inside of paying for a Inn each time she was there now she had just rented an apartment it seemed like the best thing she could do there. She blinked when the ball hit her foot. She looked down for a moment hearing distance calls to her to kick the ball back. She looked to the children, they knew who she was. The Kazekage sister, they was afraid of him but not her. Life sucks sometimes. She kicked the ball back and shook her head has she passed the rest of the crowd to the Kazekage building.

Once there she pass the council room, she couldn't help but to glance in there. She paused for a belief moment, her black expressionless eyes fell on the four statue. Her father the one that sealed Gaara's and their mother fate all because he wanted a damn weapon. When she heard of his death she saw no reason to cry just nodded and walked off from her brothers. She still had not came to accepted all the things he had done in his life. When she was younger she was terrified of Gaara losing control, how easily her younger brother could have killed Kankoru or her any given day if they upset him. Yet they lived and some how sometimes managed to calm him down when he got in his bloodthirsty state. She sighed and looked back a head of her and kept walking. Maybe one day she will shed a tear for the man she once called father.

Once she got to the Kazekage office, she gave a simple but loud knock on the door before pushing it open. Behind the desk sat her youngest brother, changed since the last three years for the better. She was no longer afraid of him, he knew how to control the beast within him, but now that no longer matter since the Akatsuki saw fit to rip him of that power. He only lived because of and Elder, giving her life for him. No for them. The next Generation of Shinobi that was to protect the sand. She smiled slightly at him and walked over to the desk placing the paper work neatly on his desk. ""Here that paper work that you called me out on the other day."

She took her fan off her back and leaned it against the desk has she sat down in one of the chair in front of the desk. They usually went over the paper work since some of it she needed to take back to Konoha with her to give approved or something on the lines for the Chuunin Exam. Working between villages like this cut back on a lot of time for her to chill and relax. She crossed her legs at the knees and watch Gaara for a moment or so. Tomorrow was when she was to depart for Konoha for another two weeks of planning. She actually didn't want to head back just yet, her last time she was there she had gotten into another agruement with her co-work on this. It was rather stupid and childish behavior on her part but, she felt she was right. "I know you want me to keep you inform of any Akatsuki movement that are heading for Konoha." She knew Gaara would help a certain ninja from Konoha, knowing full well of his fate if caught. She couldn't know what kind of bond Gaara and Naruto had, she had never felt it, but Naruto was the reason she was not afraid of Gaara anymore.

Righteys, there's a special format for the jutsu [the link to the actual thread is in the sidebar, yeah] so you'll have to put your jutsu in that format. You might want to put her special fan into the weapons format, too.
