Appearance:

Shura's rosette hair falls to mid-back and is usually worn down, and the bangs, cut shorter than the rest of her hair, are still long enough to cover her left eye. Two locks frame either side of her face and fall to her chest, giving an overall waterfall-like effect to her hair. Deep, pink eyes match her hair; however, instead of this combination giving her an innocent, playful look, Shura is feared by her intelligently almond-shaped eyes, yet there is still an air of femininity about the woman.

Instead of the traditional Amegakure shinobi garb, Shura wears a thin, sleeveless, flowing black dress that clings to her form and accents her physical features, such as her extremely pale skin from the lack of sunlight in her village. The dress is cut with a slit down the side that begins at her thigh, and a circle is cut from the left side to expose her pale flesh. Her shinobi footwear was tossed aside at a young age for a more sleek pair of knee-high black leather boots, and her nails are painted the same shade as her overall outfit. A pair of fingerless gloves adorn her hands and reach to her elbows, and the hitaiate wrapped around her waist has been elongated in the back to give a flowing look to her clothes.

Shura's leisurely outfit consists of a printed black [dress] that used to belong to her mother before she passed away. Her hitaiate is still worn on her waist, and she prefers to not wear the headband, but keeps it on her person at all times when wearing the costume.

Around her neck is a black leather collar with a chain that hooks it together at the front, and from the chain hangs a metal tag with the Amegakure symbol on it. This choker was given to her by her family to remind her to always stay loyal to her village, and only because of this is she still looking up to "god."

Shura's kekkei genkai is quite unusual. Unlike many that are simply elemental-based or give jutsu, Akuma sports a pair or horn-like projections that are about two inches long, one and a half inches wide, and rest three inches above her ears. While there seems to be no actual use for these, it reflects her clan's name, "Akuma," which translates to "demon." This makes her easily distinguishable amongst other people, but she seems to not mind the dysfunction, because the others in her clan also held the kekkei genkai.

Known Jutsu:

~ Senbon Shower [Joro Senbon] :: This Jutsu requires a special umbrella or parasol. After throwing the umbrella in the air, it will release a hailing "shower" of senbon. Any quick enemy will be able to deflect or block the senbon since they do not travel at particularly high speeds. However, this cannot be dodged by moving away since the needles cover a wide area.

~ Haze Clone Technique [Oboro Bunshin no Jutsu] :: Just like the regular Clone Technique this technique creates intangible clones of the user, although these clones will let the attacker go right through him/her. The illusions can be seen through by the Sharingan.

~ Mist Servant Teacnique [Kasumi Jūsha no Jutsu] :: This genjutsu creates clones that phase in and out of the ground as if they were made of a blackish, oil-like liquid. When attacked, the clones regenerate themselves. The clones can be controlled to make it seem as if they're throwing kunai. The user can then time their attacks with those of the clones.

~ Sly Mind Affect Technique [Kori Shinchū no Jutsu] :: This jutsu causes the enemy to walk around in circles for hours by making it seem as if they're walking straight to their desired destination. The enemy eventually becomes exhausted after traveling the same path over and over.

~ Hidden Mist Technique [Kirigakure no Jutsu] :: This jutsu envelops the surrounding area in a dense mist, reducing visibility within the affected area. The density can be controlled by the user, allowing them to create a mist so thick that even they can't see through it.

~ Water Clone Technique [Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu]

~ Water Release: Destructive Water Torrent [Suiton: Hahonryū] :: This technique lets the user summon a rapid river of water to attack their opponent.

~ Water Release: Water Fang Bullet [Suiton: Suigadan] :: This jutsu creates a circle of crushing water spikes around the opponent. It is very difficult to evade, however it will also require a sufficient water source nearby the target, preferably right below it.

~ Water Release: Black Rain Technique [Suiton: Kokū no Jutsu] :: This jutsu creates a flammable black mist that forms a small cloud. The user can then move the cloud above their target and disperse it, covering the target in flammable oil.

~ Demonic Illusion: False Surroundings Technique [Magen: Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu] :: This jutsu changes the appearance of a nearby object or area in order to disorient the opponent.

~ Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique [Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu] :: This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels the first illusion, they will not realize that a second is in place.

~ Lightning Destruction [Ikazuchi Hakai] :: The user places his hands to the ground after converting their chakra to lightning. The user then sends an enormous bolt of lightning that cuts through the ground towards the target. The shape of the bolt is a triangular figure with the base in front of the user and the tip headed towards the opponent. It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates with enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

~ Lightning Release Shadow Clone [Raiton Kage Bunshin] :: This technique allows the user to make a shadow clone infused with lightning. Because it is a shadow clone, it is able to perform jutsu and interact with the environment due to it having physical substance. If the clone is injured, it will revert to its natural lightning-state, at the same time electrocuting whatever it is touching.

~ Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder [Raiton: Jibashi] :: This jutsu allows the user to create a wave of electricity from the user's hands. This jutsu can vary in power from a small surge to shock an opponent to a powerful stream of lightning capable of ripping through solid rock. It is ideal to use in conjunction with a water jutsu.

~ Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind [Raiton: Shichū Shibari] :: Four giant pillars are summoned or created, whence then shoot bolts of lightning, binding the target in place and possible doing damage to them.

~ Lightning Release: Thunder Binding [Raiton: Kaminari Shibari] :: This technique lets the user create a three sided wall of electricity to bind their opponent. The user must have three conductors to stick in the ground to create the points. Furthermore, once the enemy is inside, if they come into contact with the wall they will be electrocuted. The only way the jutsu can be broken is if an outside party were to strike one of the wall with a strong enough attack, which will then deactivate the other walls.

~ Wings of Sun [Hi no Hagane] :: The user can cause a rockslide by sending a wave of electric energy into a cliff. However, this is extremely location-based and needs to be done near a mountain for it to work.

For her, I'd make a slight exception to the overused comment that had tumbled ungracefully from my lips, but it was just that; an overused expression. If she didn't take kindly to it (as I was sure that she wouldn't), then it was her own damn fault for running over to me in the first place. "You don't believe in the Easter Bunny or Santa?" I spat, fully aware that she was pissed enough as it was. Oh, well. Once something happens, it happens, and there was no taking it back. Not that I wanted to take it back, of course...

At her comment about killing, I merely scoffed. "Those who don't understand the pain of others won't be able to get anywhere if life." I was quite aware of the old man trailing after us, but I decided to allow Aiuya to take care of him; after all, she wanted to kill someone, right? I folded my arms behind my shoulders and rested my head in the makeshift cradle, humming a familiar tune to myself as the silence followed. If there was one thing that I couldn't stand more than Kakuzu's obsession over money and the atheists that thought they owned the world, it was the ringing quietness that so eagerly overtook conversations, especially when the only thing accompanying them were the annoying squawks of birds and the repetitive sounds of feet shuffling through the dirt.

After what seemed like an hour of walking, Aiuya finally attacked the old man with a swift chuck of her knife-thing and began mauling the innocent man. I turned and watched as he was chopped into a pile of fresh - well... old and fresh? - ground beef. I muttered to myself about all of the pain the other was enduring while my acquaintance seemed to enjoy every last spurt of blood that came from the mutilated corpse.

Once she turned and flung her knife at me, I quickly caught on and snatched it from the air, watching the thick red liquid drip from its blade, then chuckled at her comment. " 'Lustful Raven' my ass! There wasn't anything lusty or raven-y about it. In fact, it was pure bull--" I could have jumped when a tingle of pain ran through my arm from the hand that clamped down on my shoulder, but it was too strong to keep me from springing from the ground. In fact, if it had been smacked harder, it would have broken a few bones. But I knew from the scent of slight flesh decay and fresh bills as well as his voice that the man behind me was none other than my assigned bastard of a partner, Kakuzu.

When his sour breath reached my nostrils, I moaned in frustration. "I hope that we're going somewhere with mouthwash. Your breath smells like ass!"
