Kekkai Genkai Description:
Although it is called a "kekkei genkai," there is no real use for the Keiteki. They are merely deformations that have grown through the skulls of the Akuma Clan members and come to a point, giving them horn-like growths that may intimidate others into thinking that the clan member has some secret technique related to the horns.
Clan History:
The Akuma clan started from many rejected shinobi with dysfunctions, such as mental retardation or abnormal growths, coming together to create a single clan that, after breeding for some time, had a prominent defomation: "horns." These horns, called Keiteki, had no real use in battle, but many of the horns varied in length, width, and color (some were yellowed, and some were more white). The Akuma clan began interbreeding to keep the clan "pure," but after other deformations arose, the members only mated with those of distant relation that were still a part of the clan.
Akuma played a very minor part in the Great Shinobi War and lost many in the battles, and after forming Amegakure with other clans, Akuma began opening its doors from the kindness that other clans showed toward them from their heritage, and some members disbanded from the clan to join others, making the Akuma clan smaller than it began.
Being the battlefield of all countries, Amegakure suffered heavy losses, including those in the Akuma clan, leaving only ten members alive, and once Amegakure's civil war started, Akuma took the side of god. After the civil war was completed, there were only three members remaining - Shiri and Shura, twin sisters, and their cousin Ronzou.
