Pein looked out on the bleak sky that showed the scape of the village hidden in the rain. The air was wet with mist of water and blood. The civil war that was raging below, and he led it all. He was in the dead tower, which no one would of suspected. But the rain kept falling. The rain ws his most powerful tool. He sensed through the rain, feeling all who where fighting for him.
Many where fighting for him, in different areas. All where worshippers of PEin, a god. He was a myth to them all, something that legends where made of. "There must be bloodshed to ensure peace." said Pein as he felt the bloody battles and the civil war proceed onward.

Konan sighed slightly as she fiddled with a square piece of paper, twirling it over and over in her hands. She needed something creative, something artistic, but she just couldn't think of anything. To her, it had to be beautiful and deadly at the same time; it was hard to create paper explosives on the spot, especially if you were like Konan. If you were like her, you didn't use explosive tags; no, you used origami shapes, something artistic, and something that didn't look deadly at all. Some would laugh at the young Akatsuki girl, most especially at her techniques.
Of course, laughing at her could possibly get you dead as well. She wasn't to be trifled with, even with her rather voluptuous body and slightly lustful figure. She was glad that the Akatsuki cloaks they all wore were quite baggy, as she was sure she didn't need the male-orientated organization to be drooling over her looks. She was sure there'd be at least one of them that would do such a thing. Perhaps Hidan, he seemed like the type to at least feel a girl up with his eyes. Of course, he wouldn't love anyone, as that was against his 'religion', as he claimed, but nonetheless he'd still try. He was still a man with testosterone, after all.
Now, Konan wasn't happy at the moment, to say the least. Not only was she cooped up inside from the rain, once again, but she was tired of being indoors. She wanted to at least go outside and enjoy a bit of the rain, but no. It just had to be raining, didn't it? Distraught, she clambered up the stairs to see the back of her reddish-orange-haired comrade, Pein. No matter how he acted or looked, he would still be Nagato to her any day.
"Pein-san, must we really stay here all this long? I'd like to see fresh air once in a while," she said dryly, walking up to stand beside him at the window. "I don't like to be cooped up indoors."

Pein turned around to see his partner, Konan. She had great techniques and even deadlier form. Of course, she did have a point. What was teh fun in being a god, and being cooped up in a tower full of dead people. "Hmmn, sure, besides i want to see around with my eyes, and not the rain." said Pein, as the rain cnotinued to beat along the skyline of amegakure.
"Konan, is there anywhere in specific you would like to go?" said Pein as he sat down, with his back against the wall. After all, he had nothing to do, and he could not go out and capture a bijju, or else no one would turn the tide on the civil war at hand. From the reports that he had, Deidra and Sasori were off getting the one tail bijju.

Somewhere specific that she had wanted to go? She wasn't entirely sure. In her opinion, anywhere but Ame was perfect. The rain bothered her a little too much, and she genuinely hated it. She twirled the paper in her hands, obviously thinking as she stared out the window at the rain. Just the thought of rain, of water itself - if it wasn't in a glass and she wasn't drinking it - made her shudder. Over and over she twirled the paper, and began absent-mindlessly folding it into the shape of a crane. No, a crane wouldn't do for an explosive. Perhaps a flower? Then again, flowers were also a little monotonous at times, and weren't very original. Exploding flowers? No.
"Anywhere but here is really all I can say. Perhaps checking on Hidan and Kakuzu could be a good idea. Perhaps aid them in a bounty or two of theirs. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, though I don't entirely want to put up with Hidan and his stupidity. It might do him some good to learn a little listening skills." She frowned at the crane, sighing. No, a crane wouldn't do. It just wouldn't. She already used birds for her shuriken, and something as low-level as a paper plane would be, well, horrible... Then again, she came back to the flower idea. Perhaps Pein would be able to come up with something.
"An explosive," she said, protruding the paper crane in her palm. "I can't seem to think of anything creative. A flower is much too cliche, and birds I already use for shuriken. I simply cannot seem to come up with something creative enough to use." She sighed once again, and began twirling the paper crane.
"Anyways. Last we heard they were in Kiri, am I correct? Perhaps we should go there... Though we'd best not stay long. I'd rather not be stuck in that wet climate." Konan's distate for wet climates was obvious, and had always been. Water was her pure weakness, much more than fire, because water was that much more present than fire. It seemed a little ironic that being a human, she needed water in her daily life, and yet hated it.

"Hmmn, interesting. But i dont want to deal wit hhidan either. Him constantly bragging that he is 'Immortal' and kakazu with his anger issues." said Pein thinking of an idea, while watching konan make a crane. But hse too seemed to be bothered by soemthing. Seh had made a crane, btu simply tossed it aside. From what he could hear, she did not like wet climates in this weather.
"We could always travel to see why Itachi failed to capture the kyuubi" said Pein, also knowing why DID itachi and kisame fail to capture the kyuubi and its host. "Or we could go to suna to check on Dieadra and Sasori." said pain listening to Konan trying to think of something for an explosive.
"A butterfly, would be perfect." said Pein standing near Konan. "Sand sounds well. Its the farthest thing from a wet climate." said Pein as he waited for Konan.

It seemed that Pein didn't feel like putting up with Hidan either, but Konan particularly wanted to see Hidan for a short while, at least. It would at least cause her great joy to annoy him a little bit, and she had to admit that some of his reactions were quite enjoyable to watch. While he did tend to get annoying at times, he was also quite hilarious, too. Sometimes Konan thoroughly enjoyed how he reacted to things.
"Konohagakure no Sato has most likely increased its security after that event, and the last I heard, the Uzumaki boy was with one of the Sannin travelling. The chances of us finding the Kyuubi is unlikely at this point. As for the Shukaku... I would rather not have to listen to Deidara and whatever he considers 'art'. Not to mention, the desert seems rather boring. I'd rather not die of thirst on my way there." Yes, Konan knew it well, she was being a bit stubborn. At least in Kirigakure no Sato, they wouldn't have to worry about dying of thirst on their way there. Konan wouldn't have enjoyed doing that, either.
"A butterfly? Hmm... Possible, but... I already use butterflies for tracking. It needs to be unique, to be something I have not yet utilized before... Something of which would draw the attention away from what it really was. But butterflies does sound like a possibility... Nonetheless, I think we should go to Kirigakure no Sato and pay a visit to Hidan. I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to knock some manners into him."

"Going to kirigakure would surely prove fun." said pein as he heard that the boy had went with a sannin. He wondered who'd it could be, but he knew it was not orochimaru. After he left to form otogakure. He'd be sure to die in konoha after what he did. Heraing that they increased their security, and the chances of finding the kyuubi were slim. Plus she'd not want to go to suna, rather not die of thirst.
"Ok, then we'll go pay hidan a visit in kiri." said Pein before making his wat down the tower. The steps resonated through the entire tower, the only ones to hear them were already dead, for his bodies for use. OR nagatos. Either way, he did not care.
"Hmmn, for a design you could use a frog." said pein once more, tossing out an idea, thinking of numerous animals that she had used for other purposes. She had used butterflies for tracking, and birds for shuriken.

Their steps that echoed in the tower seemed quite odd, and the utter silence of it bothered Konan a bit. She didn't particularly like being alone, no matter what the situation could possibly be; it was just uncomfortable in the whole scheme of things. Of course, sometimes being alone was nice, but that was more of a willingness rather than a forced loneliness. Being 'alone' referred more to loneliness, while solidarity was more or less of a person's free will. Konan preferred solidarity over being alone on any given day, though being around someone who had been her childhood friend - even though since then his personality had changed rather drastically - was enough for her.
"A frog?" She questioned in answer to his suggestion. How did one make a frog again? Konan couldn't quite remember, as the frog hadn't been an animal that she had ever done, really. "Hmm..." She slid the crane into one of the inside pockets on the sleeve of her cloak and unzipped it halfway, her usually-hidden bust now protruding quite well, and slid out three pieces of paper from another hidden pocket inside. She was glad she had those pockets, as it made for nice storage of weapons and papers for her. As they walked down the stairs of the tower, Konan's artist hands twisted the paper this way and that, folding it into intricate shapes, and eventually, by fitting the three pieces together, Konan had a frog. She smiled.
"That's actually not a bad idea... If I were to look at that, I'd probably laugh... Because what sort of damage could a paper frog do in the hands of a woman?" Konan chuckled. And really, that was a good question, too, as what sort of thing would a person expect - except Jiraiya, who had taught her what she knew, and anyone else in the Akatsuki - that a paper frog could be so damaging? It would be an interesting theory to test, that was for sure.
"Maybe I'll use one of these on Hidan just to piss him off..."

"It would be fun. Put his 'Immortality' to the test." said Pein as they continued to walk down the stairs. As they walked down the stairs, he noticed s sight that no other akatsuki member ever saw. Konan's bust was protruding but only slightly. He was sure, that she put those pockets to the best extent of their use. Most used it for weapons, but in hers, she kept paper. Paper was the best weapon that she could use, and was better than any kunai or senbon that any could use.
Pein smiled slightly as she thought the frog would do good. Looks like that Jirayah will get something after all. thought pein as they finally got to the outside of the tower. The rain had stopped, but the gloomy skies still loomed overhead, giving it a sense of dread. He could feel that the rain was going to pick up soon. The hidden mist village was not that far away, maybe a days journey at best.

It wasn't as if she had noticed that Pein had been glancing at her as she'd unzipped her cloak, and she didn't really blame him. A few people had told her, when in disguise, that she resembled quite a beautiful woman, and Konan couldn't help but agree a little more. Even looking at herself, she knew that her own bust could probably have rivaled the medical sannin, Tsunade. As she reached inside the cloak for another six pieces of paper and slid the frog into another one of the pockets, she thought about what a frog possibly could remind her of.
Suddenly, it hit her, in a sense. "Heh, frogs... It reminds me of Jiraiya. A little too much, I might add... We really should take him out some day. I mean, sure, he did teach us most of what we know, but he's also a Konoha-nin. I'll bet that he's the one that the Nine-Tails is with. It's really the only feasable explanation, because I doubt that kid would go with that bastard Orochimaru," Konan said sharply. Oh, of course, the entirety of the Akatsuki hated Orochimaru, and with good reason. Not only had he pretended to be part of their ranks, but he had also taken his ring with him when he'd left, leaving them without a ring to give to any new members they might recruit.
"It wouldn't surprise me if Itachi's little brother were with that snake, however... Though I do wonder, who would Tsunade possibly train?" Konan was mostly rambling now, just to keep the silence from overwhelming her. She didn't entirely like silence when it wasn't needed, and sometimes talking like this brought up amazing ideas. "That's mostly an assumption, though, of the Nine-Tails being with Jiraiya. Wouldn't you agree, though, that it would be fitting?" Konan asked as she zipped up her cloak to once again hide that voluptuous torso of hers. She was glad the people she worked with in the Akatsuki weren't a bunch of drooling buffoons, or she certainly would have had to hand out some of her 'divine punishment', as some called it. God's Angel, the one who carries out Pein's work... She actually liked the name, in all honesty. It wasn't a bad title for her, that was for sure. She rather enjoyed it.

"That is why i brought the idea. Looks like Jiraya will have something after all." said Pein as he listened to wheat she was saying. IT was likely that the nine tails jinchuuriki would be with their mentor, and Tsunade was not the one to train such a one. "Yes, with Itachi's attitude and lust for power, i wouldn't be surprised if Itachi's younger brother went towards that bastard orochimaru.
"Yes, because i don't see Tsunade having the patience for teaching someone with a bijju." said Pein, knowing that he had to be with the Toad Sannin. The healing and snake sannins would most likely be teaching someone else. "But did you hear that Tsunade also became the hokage?" said pein, as they both came to the outside and began to walk toward the hidden mist village.
