Dance of the Shadow [Kakashi]

[Aburame Aya]

It was a warm day, there was a few clouds out at the moment but nothing that was stopping the shadows from dancing around the training field. In the center stood a girl, she was about the normal height of most females her ages, about 5'4 or so, if not taller at the moment. She looked up to the sky at the moment watching a few clouds run about has her spider pendant fell against her cheek. She heard the kids in the distance training and knew where they was due to her bugs, but that was not while she was here at the moment. No, that was far from it at the moment.

She slowly looked down to the two kunai that was in the ground that she has placed there. She stood a a good ten feet away at the moment. She was working on her Shadow Possession Jutsu today, sure she knew how to use it since she was about four but that didn't stop the fact that she still used to much chakra while doing it. She knew she had to get better at control the amount of chakra that she used, and how much her bugs ate off of her while doing it. She took a deep breath at the moment has she felt the heat of the sun cast upon her at the moment.

She placed her hands together and her shadow started to grow from its orignal state at the moment. She slowly started to place a small amount of chakra into it making two thin lines going for the shadow of the kunais. Once her shadow did reached the other shadows her breathing started to come heavy, and she bit down on her lip rather hard at the moment. ”Damn it....I am about to lose it already....tried two on the first shot...not good.” A few seconds more and her shadow returned back to normal.

She glared at the kunai for a moment, she hated this. She sighed slightly and walked over to the kunai and stopped and sat down next to them. It would be a while before she attempted that again. She leaned back on her hands slightly and looked up to the clouds. She had to smile, it was a rather nice day at the moment. A good part of the day for a nap taking has well.

[Hatake Kakashi]

The infamous copy ninja Kakashi walked in the direction of the training field, but to find to his surprise a ninja he wasn't to familiar with. He decided to walk over to her with his Icha Icha Paradise book in hand while reading. He stopped about 5 feet from the girl, the metal in his headband shined in the sun. "Yo, how's it going? I don't see you much in the village." He sat on the stump of a tree and watched her carefully, wondering who she was.

Kakashi placed the book back in his pouch, and sighed softly. "What are your goals as a shinobi." While he asked her that questioned he remembered what Obito and Rin told him; his beloved friends. His white hair blew in the wind; Kakashi just stayed in silence and waited for her answer.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya had closed her eyes and was just about to drift off into a nap when one of her bugs that she did have out came and landed on her neck. It started to buzz at her telling her someone was coming up. She sighed slightly to herself. With any luck they would keep on going pass her at the moment. Training was coming to stop for a nap, and her nap was about to be interupted at the moment. She opened one eye and looked around slightly but didn't see anyone at the moment. She closed her eye once more, having a pair of sunglasses on at the moment helped hide the fact that her eyes was closed at the moment.

She blinked one the person just came out and said hello. This made her to set up and look in his direction at the moment. It didn't take her long to realize who it was. He was famous for being an ANBU. She blinked slightly and smiled some. ”You are Hatake Kakashi. I am usually on missions outside of the village. I am Aburame Ayako, must just calls me Aya tho.” She watched him place his book back in his pouch at the moment.

She blinked slightly when he asked her about her ninja goal in life. She smiled slightly at him. That was easy for her. ”Thats easy. To protect my family and friends and protect the village. What about you Kakashi-sempai?” She add that because of her being in the ANBU.

[Hatake Kakashi]

Kakashi was intrigued by meeting the kunoichi Aya, who knew who he was, but to no avail most ninja knew him. "Well as you stated I am Kakashi." He noticed she was tired, but wanted to learn more of his comrade. He stood and stretched, the sat back down with one leg hanging on the ground.

After she asked about his goal he didn't know whether to tell the truth or to just say it was personal. In his confused state he looked at her his left eye shrouded down "Can't say I have a goal anymore." To avoid any further talk on that matter he put his hand in his pouch once again and grabbed a kunai "Care to spar." He jumped back off the stump and tossed the kunai while talking.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya watched him, she felt her pendant smack in gently on the cheek. This thing could get annoying but at the same time she was use to it always hitting her at the moment. She pushed her headband that rested against her thigh back slightly and listened to him state his name over again. She had ever talk to him before but heard the stories that the older Anbu members told. She wasn't really tired has has it seemed, just a bit frustrated with herself for not controlling her chakra better with the jutsu.

She tilted her head slightly when he stated that he didn't know his goal anymore. That was a bit weak to her, mainly because most people did have their own reason. She wasn't going to tell him that how she started in the path to being a ninja was because of her eye sight when she was younger. She smiled slightly when he suggested a spar tho. A moving target with the Shadow Possession Jutsu was better than a still one, in her case that was.

She stood up and dusted of her clothing at the moment. She pulled her sleeves off the index finger of both of her hands. It had been a long time since she just sparred against someone, and going up against Kakashi at the moment was going to be interesting for her to try. She knew there was little to no chance that she was going to win this, but it would give her some practice time. ”Sure. I have heard stories about you from older ANBU members. I suppose this is my chance to see first hand now.” She looked up to the sun quickly and saw the positions of the clouds, she would have to think carefully when it was the best time to use her Shadow Possession. She didn't think he saw her practicing first with it, so that would most likely catch him off guard. She also took a glance of the other shadows was to she could use them as well. Once she took in her surrounding, she quickly had it memorized and her eyes narrowed to him under her sunglasses, ready for anything at the moment.

[Hatake Kakashi]

Kakashi only wanted to test her abilities and to see how far she can push him to his limits. Landing on the floor he pulled onto the wires that were attached to the kunai and watched her carefully. He had no intention to let a kid beat him "Shadow clone jutsu" After the handseals connected two other Kakashi's prepared, which one was the real one was hard to tell.

They split up in three directions and in that instant another jutsu was set into motion. A thick fog surrounded the area and Kakashi stood in the mist waiting for her to attack "Hidden Mist Jutsu" While enveloped in the fog each the other two Kakashi's grabbed onto the Icha Icha Paradise book and a single kunai; as if to intimidate her. They all spoke while only an echo could be heard. "You can come at me anytime."

They started reading the book for her to move.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya watched him make the Shadow clones, she saw three of them. She didn't see the wire just yet because of her sunglasses. She allowed four female bugs out of her sleeve. So there was three Kakashi now, this was going to become a drag. She looked up to the clouds in the sky at the moment and slipped her hands into her pockets, it annoyed her at the moment when she caught the mist that was forming around her. This cut off the surprise of her Shadow Possession Jutsu and made her to relay on her bugs. This mist was really no concern for her or her bugs. She had been in far worse than this and if Kakashi was going to take the Aburame clan has if it was a joke, then he had another thing coming for him.

She heard each one of his echos at the moment, has she placed her hand up against her ear slightly. She then held out her arm and created four bug clones. Each of them appeared to have their own kunais in their hands at the moment. Her bug clones work just has well has the known shadow clones, but her bug clones could reform at will when hit. She looked around in the mist slightly. ”Kakashi, I am an Aburame. Your mist trick has little effect on me. You only delayed a surprise of mine with it.”

She knew that she would have to live up to the Nara name at the moment has well. She nodded slightly one two of her clones. Those two clones raced over to two of the shadow clones. She did push up her sunglasses to the top of her head at the moment. It was harder for her to see in the mist when they was on, and it was no good to her at the moment. She placed her finger to her lip slightly.

One of the clones ran up from the back of the shadow clone, going to rush the kunai it held into the back of it. The clone smirked slightly has if it was doing the right thing at the moment. It was only a shadow clone and it couldn't do much of anything else right. Aya knew not to trust Kakashi at the moment and she surrounded herself with a few more bugs that would tell her if anything or person came near her at the moent.

[Hatake Kakashi]

Kakashi just waited in the mist with the book in front of his eye, he raised his headband and activated his sharingan; his clones did as well. While his clone was being attacked it the clone did three hand signs then touch the floor "Earth Release: Earth Style Wall" A wall composed of dog sculptures appear from the ground blocking the clone from striking. The Kakashi clone then turned around "To think you can sneak up on me is a mistake. He jumped back from the wall, not before leaving a few exploding tags on it and watched them explode as he did the release.

Kakashi's main body then started walking and spinning the kunai on his finger. Searching for her he decided it would be faster to stay hidden "Earth Style: Underground Move Jutsu" Kakashi submerged into the ground without leaving any marks of the ground being distorted. He moved around freely in search of her and spotted her but was most likely a clone. He moved underneath her wondering if he should blast out or come out quietly, as he thought his other clone followed in his direction and looked at the girl. Quickly a lighting hound appeared from Kakashi's hand with out any handseal and charged at her.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya sighed slightly to herself has she heard the noise to her left. She could do the wall move has well but in this thick mist the moment, it was no use to really us the earth techniques only to be later run into them. She heard him talk about a sneak attack against him was useless. Kakashi was the famous Copy Cat Ninja, she knew simple tricks like that was bound to fall, but this also gave her bugs time to adapt to the mist and clear it out for her. She really only had her insects at the moment to relay on and that was never good, she hated to relay on them has much has she did that was why she was out her working on the Shadow Possession Jutsu.

Her clone watched him bring up the wall to stop the attack, then the explosives tags. If it took a direct hit form the tags, it meant the bugs was dead. The clone scattered into millions of bugs and flew in different directions to avoid the attack. Only about ten thousands was actually caught by the fire. The rest formed behind the clone again into Aya with kunai and a couple of shurikens in the hand. The clone threw the shuriken and went to kick the clone in the side. The clone that was directly above Kakashi, started to push chakra down into their feet. Trying to bait who ever was below out.

Aya looked up slightly at where the clouds should be. ”He has done Earth, Water elements attacks has it is. He is the Copy Cat Ninja after all the one I keep hearing about through the ranks of the ANBU. He made it impossible for me to use my shadows...but why did he do that...does he know about my parents? He only knows I am an Aburame....this is starting to become a drag...” She yawned slightly to herself, missing the clouds now that she thought about it more. She never did lose focus at the moment. She knew where her clones was, what they was doing. Her eyes tho rolled over to when she heard something faint.

Her clone that was just attacked by the lightening base attack, got hit in the back, but the bugs that was not directly hit, started to form over the clone, bitting at the clone's skin for any chakra they could suck out of the clone at the moment. ”Now he uses Lightening. There no doubt in my mind that he can use wind and fire has well. Hmm what to do what to do. He has a clone lurking somewhere, two clones facing my bugs, and he somewhere underground at the moment. Getting out of this mist should be my first objective at the moment. And I think I might know a way out of it.” She brought up her hands to her chest slightly and started to release some more bugs, this time instead of forming more clones they started to circle her in a high speed pattern. It started just a few inches from her and started to expand out from there. This started to clear the air around her from the mist. She kept her cool at the moment, there was no reason to get totally serious at the moment, this was on a spar after all. It seemed like he was testing her skill and toying with her at the moment.

[Hatake Kakashi]

Kakashi knew that he didn't want to waste much time on this little exercise so he disbanded his jutsu leaving no clones for her to attack, or drain chakra from. He continued to move underneath her until he thought of the perfect way to end this session. He moved from underneath her and came out the ground just about 10 feet away from her. "It seems you have a trump card you want to use against me. I hope you know though, I can't allow you to beat me as easy you might have thought you could."

Kakashi looked at her then formed hand seals "Raiton Kage Bunshin" Five shadow clones came fourth infused with lighting. They all charged at the kunoichi "If you don't have the intent of killing me in this spar, you will never beat me." Kakashi charged with the clones to make it confusing, they all drew kunai's at the same time and three jumped in the air while Kakashi and the other two ran on the floor. He intended to end this rather quickly but to use so many jutsu's without hesitation wasn't his plan.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya watched has the mist around them cleared up due to her insect sphere. She knew that left her open against an attack that could have been underground but it was a chance that she was willing to take at the moment. Has the sphere disbanded her bugs flew back up into her sleeve. She watched has the shadow clones disappear. She witness Kakashi coming back up about a good ten feet from her at the moment. She let out a sigh slightly, has the bugs that was eating on one of his clones reformed into a bug clone some good distance away and the other clone that was in combat with one stood still watch him closely. She reached up and lowered her sunglasses back over her eyes. ”Is not a matter of you knowing what I might be thinking of doing, its how I release it that matters. You think your little threat about not allowing me to release is really going to scary me? I have had more scary threats than that.”

She watched him create the Lighten Shadow clones and sighed slightly. She looked up to the blue sky has she reached up and scratched the side of her face with her index finger. This was starting to become an even bigger drag has he we about throwing another statement at her. Sure she had no motivation to kill him at the moment mainly because she didn't see this anything but him toying with her at the moment, and she was not about to become serious over anything that he said to her at the moment. She saw no point into taking his bait like that. She eyes traveled back down has his clones started to charge at her. She watched them closely enough and once they got near to her.

The clone or what she played at being a clone, her shadow due to the sun started to grow. Has long has she caught one of the Kakashi and dodge his attack, she would be fine at the moment. She watched her her shadow separated in four different directions at the moment, she wasn't sure how long she could keep this up but she was not going to let him see how much this took out of her. She had to do this to show him that she was not just some weak wanna be ninja. Her shadows started to dart towards the four shadows casted by the clones at the moment.

[Hatake Kakashi]

In the midst of him charging at her, Kakashi put his kunai away an took out is Icha Icha Paradise book. He jumped back from all the commotion and let his clones do all the work. Without his will to continue this fight all he could do was stay back, watch, and learn from his clones. As for what he could have seen two of his clones were caught, maybe the others as well but he waited til she tried to dispose of them. As he started to read his book again he started chuckling and blushed as he turned pages. "Kukuku, naughty as always aren't you."

The look on his face showed he was truly happy and entertained from the book, but nonetheless he didn't forget about this girl Aya. He thought it was troublesome since she wasn't a rookie, but he didn't want to waste unnecessary chakra making clones, so that would have been his last set. "It seems she really had a trump card, I should have really used my sharingan at that moment." Even though he was regretting a bit, he thought if she would come in close combat he should have the advantage. He looked into the the distance and spoke loudly. "How long will it be before you fight me seriously? Maybe we should do something more simple, a rock-paper-scissors match perhaps? To see who wins."

He wanted to provoke her, but he was seriously trying to find a way to end this. He had to set foot on a mission soon and doing this wasn't helping. His plans backfired on him. Kakashi decided to keep on reading his new book he got from Naruto. To how long this will continue was something he couldn't predict, but he'd imagine it wouldn't be for long.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya watched has Kakashi went back to reading his book in front of her and her clone. She was rather annoyed by this because she felt that he was not taking her seriously in the matter. The only thing that the young girl could not stand was everyone doubting her ability has a shinobi and thinking that there was something was nothing really specially about her. She dropped her hands to her side and broke the shadow possession has his clones charged her and simple moved out of the way and sent a few bug shuriken into them. It was not that hard to tell they was shadow clones that was made by him, her bugs sense the chakra within their bodies. All she had to do was land one bug on the clone and suck out the chakra, it would be added to her own, it was a good way to replenish the chakra that she used.

She tilted her head over to the real Kakashi, the way he was reading that bug in a middle of the fight was another thing that ticked her off. She bite down on her lip knowing that this was not the good time to call him on it but felt that she had. She took a deep breath and looked up to the sky, she reached up and pushed up her sunglasses and rested them on her forehead for the time being. "You know what, there is no need for me to be serious in this fight if the person that I am fighting is not going to do the same." She rolled her head to the right side and looked to him. Her dark brown eyes was slightly piercing at the moment. "I am not a child anymore," she said a bit bitter at how he was acting towards her.

Anko had been passing in the training ground, she was assign to evaluate the grounds and what needed to be repair. It was mostly boring work for her but that was only because she was healing after a serious fight that she had gotten into the week before while on a mission. There was still a bandage on the left side of her neck that she had to tend to everyday, tho it was healing nicely. She was wearing her normally trench coat at the moment has she came across Aya and Kakashi. She knew both of them rather well. She had helped Aya a few times on missions but the leadership for those mission was usually give to Anko because of her experience.

She watched Aya tell Kakashi off about being serious. It was just like the younger girl to say something like that, but Anko has to smile about that too. It was not everyday that someone told Kakashi off, must knew who he was and kinda feared him and his ability to copy jutsu like the Uchiha Clan. She placed the clipboard that she was holding in one hand and walked over to the two of them. "Oi! Kakashi! What are you doing here?" The fight between them seemed to be over with anyways there was no reason not to come up to them. Besides she had learned a few things.

She looked over to Aya with a smile on her face and laughed slightly at the girl. 'Never thought I would see the day that someone would tell off Kakashi. You have more cuts than most people in the village." She rubbed the side of her cheek for a moment with a goofy smile on her face. It was just like her to have this expression on her face, when she was not serious about things.

[Hatake Kakashi]

Kakashi grinned at how frustrated Aya seemed. He kept reading his book and dispersed his clones. As she spoke about him not being serious was just a way to prove her own insolence. "You shouldn't just claim your at my level for me to be serious. Your strong yes, but now that I know you know the Nara's and Aburame's jutsu's, it's pointless in going further." In an instant he flickered behind her patting her head, then jumping back in an instant. He knew if he were to use his sharingan this fight would not last long.

He flipped through the pages a bit more, then put the book back in his pouch. She said she wasn't a child, but for her to get that riled up proved different. She reminded him of Obito in a way, and also Naruto. He started to recall his past, Minato-sensei, Rin-chan, Obito-kun, Jiraiya-san, as those memories flooded back into his mind he saddened. Putting that aside he looked at her with determined eyes. "Get stronger, we can always spar again."

As soon as Anko walked over Kakashi waved at her. She asked Kakashi to why he was here, in his mind he thought it was obvious, but then again her violent nature probably didn't think that. "Nothing just seeing how strong our little kunoichi here is." He looked back at Aya an winked, he couldn't tell what was on Anko's mind or what brought her here, but he was bound to find out. Kakashi started to act like a perv in his head and looked at Anko, undressing her in his head.

Blood shot out from his nose from his imagination. He turned around, pulled down his mask and wiped away the blood. "Jeez, how troublesome." He pulled it back up and turned back around. While he was cleaning his blood he did over hear Anko saying that Aya had guts for telling me off. It would appear that Kakashi was a little ticked off, but it was only trivial matters so he let it go. "Too bad she can't fight like she talks though." He sighed and shrugged as he awaited her next comment.

[Aburame Aya]

Aya was quick to calm down, simple for the fact of not getting completely upset about things. Sure she was still mad that Kakashi didn't take her completely serious in the fight but there would be other times that they would spar and she would make sure to play cat and mouse with him. There was no point in going on like he said in the fight, he has only seen her shadow and bug jutsu not her earth style jutsu. She would save those for the next fight, so that there was a a bit of surprise there for him. She would have to go and work on some more Earth style jutsu and her own bug jutsu along with more of the Nara jutsu like the other Naras. She frowned slightly when he patted her head like she was a child. She would let it slide today. "I have a good reason to use the Nara and Aburame jutsu, Kakashi. I come from both clans." That was all she was going to say on the matter.

She sat down on the grass again and leaned back. Using the shadow possession jutsu before fighting with Kakashi and using it just now took a bit out of her. "Damn it, I am never going to be able use the shadow possesion has well has the other Naras. Damn bugs eating away at my chakra all the time." She looked over to Kakashi and pushed down her glasses over her eyes, she liked the tinted view of the world she got while wearing them. 'Yea, another spar later. I can accept that." "And then I will show you that I am no child. I am an ANBU member just like you use to be."

She looked over to Anko has she addressed Kakashi first and than turned her attention onto her. Sometimes Anko has a way of creeping her out about the things that she did. At the moment tho Anko seemed rather harmless and not like she was going to bite anyone's head off at the moment. She shrugged off the comment about telling Kakashi off, the only way she saw that he was going to change his view about her was in a spar. Her brown eyes traveled over to Kakashi has he made the comment about her skills not keeping up with her mouth. She rolled her eyes under her sunglasses and watched the two. There was no need to get into another fight with the two of them.

Anko's eyes traveled to Aya has Kakashi stated about how she was doing. Anko was four years older than the girl while Kakashi was six. She licked her lip slightly, a habit she still had and was trying to break. Her purple eyes looked back to Kakashi. "I have been on a few missions here and there with Ayako there, she lacks the ability to control her shadow possession like most of the Nara, but her Aburame abilities rivalry those of her clan members." Anko's violent side only came out from time to time when someone mentions Orochimaru or she sees blood. She hated to reminded the dark days of her youth when she was only a pawn to Orochimaru and was cast aside when she refused to use the curse seal he had given her.

She watched Kakashi eye for a moment, he had just placed his book back in his pouch, she knew exactly what he was thinking at that moment. She rolled her eyes slightly and disappeared and reappeared beside Aya and sat down next to her, she placed the clip board on the other side of her face down on the ground. She hated roaming the training ground. There was no telling who she was going to meet up with when looking for posts that needed to be fixed. She tried not to play attention to Kakashi has he turned around, she didn't need to see blood at the moment.

She smiled at Kakashi and laughed slightly about his statement towards Aya. "Seems like you are trying to pick another fight with here Kakashi. Come now, leave her be, she will sooner or later realize what she needs to do to beat the shit out of you. Something you deserve in the long run, and well over due." She watched him not, her eyes not leaving him for the moment, there was a playful look about her has she sat besides the young girl. She was not sure what Kakashi would do with her statement and she was far from stupid when it came down to it.
