Poem~ I wrote it

[Hyuuga Hanabi]

Messenger of Death

Bright, cheerful, the day dawns
as people begin their day
no foreshadow
no knowledge
unknowing of what
may come upon them

engines humming
fish-like shapes floating above
murky, olive green
messengers of impending doom

strange cylinders
like small, black fish
upon a blue sky
in itself, a messenger of death
a black angel
unwinged
falling

Chaos ripples through all
running, screaming
Some stand, stagnant
stunned, stupefied, impeded

down it falls
upon them all
PITIFUL BEINGS, but why
should THEY pay
for no mistake?

unsent by God
or perhaps he did
but why should they pay
with their own lives
for a government that failed?

innocent bystanders
why, oh why?
can we not focus on
they who made the mistakes
give THEM the consequences
take THEIR lives?

yellow, misty mushroom
why do you choke them so?
wrapping you strangling tendrils
filling their beings
constricting around their lives
murderer, MURDERER!

thRoUgH tHe chAoTiC SCrEaMInG
as tHeY aRe POiSOneD
cHOKeD
KiLLeD
MuRDEReD
by tHe OnE tHInG
tHEy nEvER exPeCTEd;
