Face Claim: Ganty (from Legend of Zelda-Triforce of the Gods)
Appearance:
[/size]
Meushi is a rather average sized girl for her age. She stand at about five feet three inches tall, and weighs at just a little over one hundred pounds. Her eyes are a blue color and tend to sparkle a little with signs of mischief. The left side (right from her view) of her face tends to be partially covered by her blonde hair. The rest of it tends to fall either behind her (where it reaches her midback) or frames the rest of her face. Her lips are quite thin, and tend to be curled up in a small grin.
Being only twelve, Meushi's body is still developing, but she already looks as if she's going to be quite the looker later on. Her bust is rather, uhm, developed (though nowhere near those of the Hyuuga clan's girls). Due to her slight obsession with dieting, her stomach is rather flat and skinny. Her waist is thin, but her hips aren't that wide.
Being a bit obsessed with her looks, Meushi makes sure that her outfit accentuates her features. She wears a rather tight purple shirt. The shirt is sleeveless and meets at the neck, showing off all of her shoulders and the top of her back. There is a little window on her chest as well. The spot where it meets at the neck is decorated by a golden band with a small broach for an added touch.
Around her waist is another metal band of the same color as the one around her neck. It also serves as a belt for the rest of clothing. She also wears her headband around it, with the cloth being purple of course. Below she wears a skirt that is made of up tons of individual strips that are connected at the top. The skirt is made of leather and serves as some rather weak armor. The rest of her outfit consists of a long, white pair of paints that are a little loose. The only spot they are tight at are at the waist and ankles.
Her shoes cover up all put a small spot on the top of her feet. They are also pointed at the toes. Other accessories include the bands on her arms. They are gold, like the other bands. In a fight, they work well as something to defend herself with.
Personality:
Social Butterfly
Meushi likes to talk, and will take any chance she can to do so. The first time she is around someone, she can be a bit shy and be rather short with her sentences. Once she starts to get to know someone, she gets a lot noiser. While she doesn't mind talking about things related to the life of a shinobi or other small talk, one of her favorite topics is gossip. She enjoys teasing others about their particular crushes, though she doesn't personally interfere with the development of relationships. She'd rather wait for them to develop naturally (prolongs the teasing anyways).
Ino Fangirl and Prideful Yamanaka.
Meushi believes that Ino is one of the greatest Yamanaka ever, and that the Yamanaka in general are just awesome. She absolutely adores the older girl, in a fangirlish sort of way. With Ino being one of the more prominent members of the clan, she's had more interesting adventures than Meushi ever will, at least in Meushi's mind. As she grew up she realized Ino wasn't exactly the greatest ninja around, but as a fellow member of the Yamanaka clan, Meushi feels like she has to defend the girl against real or imaginary detractors. She's slightly offended when someone badmouths Ino (or the Yamanaka's in general), but she no longer pounces on them about it unless it continues for a long time.
Emotional
Whatever emotion Meushi feels, she tends to go a bit overboard. When she's happy, she gets a bit giddy and is prone to giggling. When depressed, she'll mope and groan. Angry, she'll be willing to smack you in the head a bit (of course, she's nowhere near the power of Sakura' punches). Overall Meushi likes to over act when it comes to her emotions at times, though she can be stable at time as well. Many people tend to find this kind of annoying, and when if someone points it out, she'll work to keep it under some kind of control.
One area that the emotional exaggerations can be a plus in is training. Once she gets her mind set on improving herself, she can work rather hard on it. She knows that one of her weak spots of the Yamanaka's is their need for distance, and as she believes the Yamanaka to be one of the best clans around she strives to fix this. Therefore, she'll go into spurts of intense training to improve herself and her techniques so she is not forced to sit on the sidelines while someone else fights for her.
Scrappyness
As a young girl, Meushi had a bit of an anger problem. She would get into small fights after school on a rather frequent basis, and could hold her own in them. However, the Academy and her parents had disapproved of it and began programs in anger management. She calmed down, and is a bit harder to tick off now a days. Still, if one was to press her buttons long enough, she won't be afraid to pick a fight.
She has another reason to be a bit scrappy; she doesn't want to be forced to sit on the sidelines in a battle. As a Yamanaka, she doesn't have a lot of offensive techniques at her disposal. They serve more in a supporting role, and therefore miss most of the action. She finds this rather wrong, and feels that being battle-ready and acting a bit tough would help her out in improving what she thinks is the clan's lackluster performance.
Cares About Appearances
As part of her socialness, Meushi cares about her appearance. She does her best to keep clean and goodlooking. The bright side of this that she keeps in relative shape through diets and exercise. The bad side is she is a bit hesitant to get into dirty places, and gets upset when something happens to her clothes. As she moved through the Academy, however, she began to learn to try and block the ideas out of her mind so she can function as a ninja. Once in a while she will slip and hesitate, but she is getting better at trying not to worry about her looks. She still gets a bit upset when her appearance is insulted though.
Her Team
Meushi knows that her teammates come from clans that are known for there combat skills, and finds it the perfect chance to learn how to be tougher. Her teammate Hanabi Hyuuga is of particular interest in her, and not just because of her combat skills. She considers the Hyuuga an unofficial rival (she'll call it official once they meet) not only in ninjutsu skills, but also in social life. The girl is known to be rather good looking, and Meushi likes having a challenge in that category. As for the Inuzuka, she doesn't know about him well enough to get a solid opinion on him.
History:
Meushis parents were part of the Yamanaka clan, but they were not part of the main clan (the one in charge of the shop). They were still related, just not living in the same spot. Instead of a flower shop, they worked a flower field. They sold their stuff to flower shops, with a special discount for the Yamanaka one of course. They would also allow people to come and pick flowers for a rather small fee as an extra source of income. Both of them were shinobi, but only one of them were on a mission at a time so someone could watch the fields.
This was the situation that Meushi was born into. Like all Yamanaka, she helped around the flowers once she was old enough. She was a bit of a clutz at it, dropping bags or the water can or stepping on some flowers. Still, she was giving her best effort, and would sometimes pick one of the better looking flowers to wear in her hair. There was one patch of flowers she was not allow to help with, though. This was the patch of Wolf Bane flowers, which were poisonous. It was used as a weapon by her parents, and they didn't want her injured.
Eventually it was time for her to enter to the academy, which was the first time she was exposed to large crowds of people. While shy at first, it didn't take long before she began to mingle amongst the people. At their young age their wasn't much to talk about, but she did find teasing some of the boys was fun. She'd like to mess with them by just randomly coming up to one and giving them a quick kiss on the cheek. In the early years they would run off, fearing 'cooties'. Later on they would either just blush till they turned red, or yell at her to back off.
When it came to gossip, she had her fair share of spreading it around. She was rather nosy, and enjoyed eavesdropping on people's conversations. However, she didn't want to be mean, so she didn't spread any nasty rumors if she could help it. Instead, she mainly focused on various people's crushes, lightly teasing those involved. Occassionally she'd find herself on the losing end of gossip, and would get rather upset about it and track down the people who spread it. She'd usually just threaten them, but she smacked a few people in the head before.
This tendency to get into scraps at school did hurt her standing amongst the teachers and such at the Academy. At first her sweet and innocent act would let her slide, but eventually they caught on and realized she had a bit of a temper problem. They let her parent's know about the issue, and they worked on controlling the young girl's temper to prevent it from getting bad. Everytime she got in a fight, she punished through groundings and other basic punishment techniques. She got the hint rather quickly, and would work to restrain herself. Every once in a while someone ticked her off bad enough she'd fight, and she would be punished, Still, it was better than getting in trouble everyday for a fight about some nonsense.
Other than the anger management lessons, her parent's trained Meushi in the finer arts of the Yamanaka clan jutsu as well as flower-based jutsu. The first was tradition, the latter was to give her something to defend herself with. This also led to her being given some basic taijutsu training. It would be enough to keep her alive till she could retreat, but in the long run she wouldn't win in a fight. This was her first hint that the Yamanaka weren't all they were cracked up to be as she thought they were, and she started to pay closer attention to her families stories about missions. It was then she discovered that most of the time, her family was on the sidelines while other ninja did the coolest stuff.
For someone like her, being very dedicated to the Yamanaka clan, that just didn't seem to be right. So she decided that she would prove the true potential of the Yamanaka's to be something better than support ninja. She was going to show that they were capable of being battlers just as much as the Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, or just about all the other clans of the village. Sadly for her, as long as she was an Academy student, there wasn't that much she could really do to help with that goal. The most she could do was practice her jutsu, but making sure to include some non-Yamanaka clan jutsu to round out her abilities.
When it came time to graduate, Meushi passed near the middle of her class. She had performed well, but it wasn't at a high level of excellency. When it came time to be assigned a team, she had expected to placed on the same team as a Nara and Akimichi. It was a traditional team placement, but there was a lack of the clan in her class. Instead, she found herself being assigned a team with an Inuzuka boy and rather advanced Hyuuga girl from what she heard.
It was a strange team setup, but she saw she could take advantage of the situation. The Hyuuga's were the masters of the Leaf Village's most powerful taijutsu style; Gentle Fist. The Inuzuka were also very powerful and hard hitting ninja. Neither of them were going to sit on the sidelines during a fight, and with there help, neither would she.

Known Jutsu:
~Clone Technique[Bunshin no Jutsu] :: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse[/size]
~Change of Body Stance Technique[Kawarimi no Jutsu ] :: This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Exploding tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique.
~Transformation Technique[Henge no Jutsu ] :: This jutsu allows the user to assume the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konohagakure Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu. The transformation technique is considered to be among the more difficult E-ranked techniques, since it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. On top of that, the user would be, most likely, interacting with the environment. This puts much mental strain on the inexperienced ninja.
~Escaping Skill[Nawanuke no Jutsu] :: A basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy, this jutsu allows a ninja to free themselves if they have been tied up. How this is done is unknown
~Release [Kai] :: Kai is a Ninjutsu technique which allows the ninja to avoid the effects of a Genjutsu illusion. After forming the needed hand seals, the Genjutsu technique will not affect the ninja. The ninja can also use the technique on another individual who was unable to avoid the attack. After forming the needed hand seals, the ninja touches the one affected to end the affect of the spell.
Jutsu Name: Shuriken no Hana[Petal Shuriken]
Rank: D
Element: Earth
Type: Attack
Character: Yamanaka Meushi
Description: The user enhances petals with their chakra, turning them into substitutes for shuriken. While they lack the strength of real shuriken, they can make up for it by being able to be made in large amounts for little effort. They also lack the range of real shuriken, and can be hard to throw if one isn't trained in them.
Jutsu Name: Sen no Hana [Petal Tag]
Rank: D
Element: Earth
Type: Supplementary
Character: Yamanaka Meushi
Description: The user enhances petals with their chakra, turning them into substitutes for explosion tags. They lack the strength of real tags, and the explosions aren't that big. The most they can be used for is to create small smokescreens of dust.
Jutsu Name: Heatorappu no Jutsu [Hair Trap Technique]
Rank: D
Element: N/A
Type: Supplementary
Character: Yamanaka Meushi
Description: After cutting her hair, Meushi infuses the hair strands with her chakra to trap anyone that steps on them. Once immobilized, they are an easy target for the Mind Body Switch Technique.
Mind Body Change Technique [Shintenshin no Jutsu]:: Shintenshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique originally used for spying. The ninja forms the needed handseals and then projects their spirit out of their body into their target. This can be another ninja or an animal. Unfortunately the spirit flies in a straight line at a slow speed. If the target moves and avoids the incoming spirit, the ninjas body falls lifeless until the spirit can find its way back to the body several minutes later. Because of the risk involved, the ninja must be very careful. When used in conjunction with a binding technique the chance of success greatly increases.
While inhabiting the body of their opponent, the target still remains in their mind but their mental processes are forced aside as the ninja takes control. However if the target has strong mental fortitude, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Also while in the body of their target, if the ninja takes sudden physical damage, their original body will be hurt as well.

The sunlight creeped slowly into Inoko's room through the window next to her bed. As the room lit up, one could see the heaving form of Inoko lying in bed, still asleep. Her arm was currently lying off the bed, almost touching the floor. In a few seconds that hand would be smashin an alarm, but for now the girl was enjoying her last few seconds of...[/color]
Beeeep. Beeep. Beeeep. Beeeep.
The girl's eyes hastily opened, but it didn't take long before she turned to a half-awakened state. Her hand slammed on the alarm, but it took a few seconds before she actually hit the button to turn it off. With the annoying beep gone, she knew she was going to have to get up. Turning herself around, she shifted herself a bit as she begun to sit up. She ran her hands through her long, blonde, and currently frazzled hair. Some of it was in her face, and she had to move it out of the way. It was going to take awhile before she was going to get it fixed up. Bed-head was such a pain, so it was a good thing she got up so early.
Dragging herself to her closet, she pulled out her top and lazily put it on. It wasn't that hard as she had to just slip it over herself and lock the band that went around her neck. After that it was a quick change from pajama pants to her normal pants and she was good to go. At least for walking around her house. For now she had decided to leave the bracers off. She was just going to tend the flower fields, not battle enemy shinobi. Then again, some of the weeds were as tough as any ninja. But first an even bigger battle; taming her hair.
Grabbing a brush, she started to work on getting any tangles out of her hair. She winced as she ran into a rather tough knot, but she pulled through. Soon her hair was straightened out, and luckily she didn't have to do anything complex (she thought of copying her idol Ino's ponytail, but it turned into too big of a hassle). It took her a few minutes to get the bangs to go the way she wanted, but soon her hair was complete. No longer a mess of bed-head, it was her normal, stylish hairstyle.
"There, I believe everything's good. Just hope mom and them are up. It's such a pain when they aren't."
She headed downstairs quietly, and didn't hear any other signs of life. That meant she was the only one awake, which left her the duty of having start cooking breakfast. While she wished she could just go upstairs and go back to sleep, she knew she couldn't get away with it. Besides, she'd have to redo her hair afterwards if she did. It was just easier to make breakfast than to deal with getting herself 'dolled up' as she heard people say. So with that in mind, she headed off to the kitchen to star preparing breakfast.
Whether they liked it or not, her parents were going to get a rather simple breakfast. She didn't have time to make anything elaborate, so she simply decided to make some rice porridge. If they wanted something else, well, they're was always leftovers from dinner they could add to it. Make-your-own breakfast as she called it. As the water boiled, she pulled out some of the meat and vegetables from last night and let them thaw a little before she started to heat them up. It was about that time her mother walked in, rather groggy herself.
"Another one of your 'make-your-own breakfast' meals? Really, don't know why you even bother cooking if you're going to do that."
"Hey, if you want a decent breakfast, just get up a little earlier. Maybe you'll beat me to the kitchen," Inoko replied, giving her mother a slight grin to show she was at least partially joking.
They both knew Inoko didn't like to cook that much, as well as the fact Inoko wasn't the greatest cook in the world. Still, it was the job for whoever got up first to make breakfast for the others. Sadly for everyone involved, Inoko was the first one to get up so she could get her outfit all in order.
"Maybe if you toned down your outfit some you'd be able to sleep in more so you're not the first up," mother replied.
"You're just jealous I'm a better looker than when you were a kid," Inoko responded tongue-in-cheek. Her mother just laughed at the response for a second before adding her own quip.
"Oh trust me, back when I was in a kid, I could rival the Hyuuga girls in looks."
"Now I know you're lying about that."
This sort of thing went on for awhile. It was a common morning ritual; Inoko got up, mom got up, they poked fun at eacher, and so on. It wasn't long before Inoko's mother finally stepped in to help her cook breakfast. It still consisted mostly of rice and leftovers, but with her mother's help, at least they were half-decent. Within a few moments Inoko's dad would probably be getting up, so they added a spot for him at the table. After everyone was done eating they'd be given their jobs, she'd head off to the fields to check on the flowers, and then work till about noon or so since it was the weekend. Once that was done, she'd head out to Konoha and catch up on all the gossip.
The big news right now was, oddly enough, about her. Apparently people were surpised to find she wasn't going to be a part of another Ino-Shika-Cho team like several of her other family members. Instead, she got stuck with a Hyuuga girl and an Inuzuka boy. For Inoko, the girl was going to be a rival to her in both ninja skills as well as social life. If her older sister Hinata was any sign, she was going to be quite the beautiful girl. That meant boys would be all over her. Inoko always did enjoy a challenge.
