::Yamanaka Meushi::
As the morning sun crept into the Yamanaka household, it found itself not landing on the figure of a young girl. Her alarm had been turned off, and her bedroom was silent, with the sole exception of some rustling coming from a nearby closet. Inside one could hear the sound of clothing shifting and someone mumbling to themselves.
"There's got to be at least one good shirt in here somewhere. Can't show up for my first day with the team all messed up," Meushi mumbled to herself as she found yet another 'messed up shirt.'
About the only thing wrong with it was that it had been wrinkled up, and there was some small denting on the clasp at the neck. That really didn't matter to Meushi, who was more concerned about making a good first impression on her first day on the team. You could never take one back, so in her mind that meant you had to make a perfect one. In the back of her mind she knew this was getting a bit ridiculous, but the thought went away as soon as she found one untouched.
"This is perfect. Now just got to find my shoes and finish my hair and I'll be good to go."
It took about another five minutes for Meushi to find her shoes in the pile that was her discared shirts. Eventually she dug them out, and slipped them on before heading out of her closet. She took a glance at it and thought about cleaning it up, but remembered she'd need to hurry up and get ready if she wanted to eat a decent breakfast before meeting up with the team. The mess would have to wait.
Instead, for now she went to brushing out and knots in her hair and making sure it was straightened out. Considering it was a daily morning ritual, her hair was relatively fine, and it didn't take long before she was satisfied. Another quick look to make sure she was good, and she headed downstairs to catch a bite to eat. Apparently someone else was already up as she could smell something cooking, although she wasn't completely sure what it was.
If dads trying to cook breakfast again, I think I might just skip it... Meushi thought, remembering one time her dad tried to make some eggs. The result was rather messy, and they preferred to not talk about it. But instead she found her mother cooking, and the two of them exchanged some usual morning banter before sitting down to eat.
"So then, today you'll be meeting your new team, right honey?"
"Hmm hmm," Meushi responded, trying to chat and eat her meal at the same time. Her mother was going to continue it, but Meushi's rapid eating speed was enough to let her know that her daughter was eager to get out there, so she just let her eat.
"Just try to get along with them alright? The last thing you need is to pick a fight with your new teammates. And don't give me any lip about 'but I'm just trying to protect the Yamanaka name' or anything like that, got it?"
The rather strict tone threw Meushi off a little, but she promised her mother she'd try. A quick glare from her mother, and she changed it to promising she wouldn't. This softened her mother's face a little, and the rest of breakfast went smoothly. It wasn't long before she was heading to the door.
"I'll see you later mom. Wish me luck," she yelled out cheerfully as opened the door.
"Good luck with your team. Your dad wishes you luck too," her mother replied, glancing at her bedroom where Meushi's dad was still sleeping. Honestly, she thought he'd be better off in the Nara clan sometimes.
With that, Yamanaka Meushi headed out the door and towards the training grounds outside of Konoha. She was ready to take on the challenge of being a Genin, and so as she walked she had a rather beaming smile on her face. Even if she was going to have to share a team with that Hanabi (who Meushi did envy a little bit), her 'rival' as she called her, she was happy as she could be.

The day after being given the rank of Genin, the small Inuzuka lad and his dog was over sleeping. Myou was curled up next to Taiyo's side at the moment. His mother had to come in and wake him up. When he finally did wake up he threw on some clothes from his closet and tied his headband around his neck. He looked over to Myou who was still sound asleep on the bed. He grinned slighted and grabbed her headband and looked at it for a moment. "Still can't believe you nearly bite the sensei for this Myou....has if you took the exam too... He muttered to himself before snapping his fingers to get her attention.
Myou looked at him for a moment when he snapped his fingers has if he was crazy at the moment. She yawned and sat up and stretched slightly, it was only then that she say him holding her headband on his hands. She got up and ran to the side of the bed that Taiyo was at and started to growl at him. That was her headband and she was going to make him know it.
Taiyo laughed slightly and petted Myou behind the ear slightly before tieing the headband around her neck has well. "Thats right Myou is one is yours. Come let go get some breakfast." He walked out the door of his room and to the kitchen and put some food and water down for Myou who jumped at the idea of having breakfast. He then sat down with is mother to eat has well. There wasn't much said between them because soon afterwards his mother had to go and get to work.
After eating Taiyo cleaned up after him, his mom, and Myou. He smirked slightly at Myou now. "Come on lets go to the training ground and get our headbands dirty like Kiba and Aya was talking about yesterday!" Myou gave him a short little bark in agreement has they ran out the door and locked behind them. They raced towards the training ground has it was their custom to race each other. Once at the training ground Taiyo started laughing when Myou beat him to the field. "You win again....Myou...." He looked around slightly trying to spot anyone at the moment.
OOC:Since it just between these two for now, a change in title is needed. There no team meeting at the momen yet.

::Yamanaka Meushi::
After leaving the house, Meushi started thinking about how to introduce herself to the rest of her team. She’d be as polite as possible towards her sensei since she didn’t want to upset her, and she knew she’d probably blurt out to Hanabi that she thought of the Hyuuga girl as a rival. Whether or not Hanabi would care was a whole different question, though Meushi didn’t expect her to really care that much. That just left the Inuzuka kid unaccounted for, and here she was at a disadvantage. The only thing she knew about that clan was that they had dog partners, and that was it. Calling the dog cute or something might work, maybe some petting behind the ears. Yeah, that would probably work nicely.
By the time she had finished making up her mind about how to introduce herself to the rest of her team, she had stumbled onto the training fields. For a moment she was confused, and thought herself lost. Eventually she realized that in her daze she must have reached her destination. Looking around, she spotted a young boy wearing a rather raggedy jacket standing alongside a small black puppy. Obviously this must have been the Inuzuka, and from the looks of it, Meushi thought she might have been overreacting about making a first impression. This guy sure didn’t look like he cared at all.
Still, at the moment it looked as if he didn’t notice her, but if her memory served the Inuzka had a great sense of smell. That meant it wouldn’t be long before the boy noticed her presence. If she wanted to get the first word in, she’d have to act fast. For a moment she thought of messing with the boy by coming up from behind and throwing her arms around him, but held herself back in order to prevent causing a fight if he took it the wrong way. Instead, she decided she would start things off with a rather old fashioned introduction.
“Hey there Inuzuka person. I’m Yamanaka Meushi. Are you part of Team 6 and…ah, what an adorable dog you have there,” she said, the last part a mix of acting and real behavior.
She squatted down on the ground and attempted to rub the dogs head, right behind the ears. That was supposed to be a spot that dogs liked to be rubbed at. She was a little concerned that the dog might try to bit her, but it looked harmless enough.

[Taiyo stood up and wiped off his forehead slightly and looked around the training ground for a moment. Now that he was a Genin he knew he would have to step up and fight alone side other member of the team. He sighed at the thought of it for a second. He glanced down and looked over to Myou and smile slightly. Since he was eight she had been the only team he had ever know and worked with. That was still going to be the case here. "We gotta work harder Myou...we are going to be working along side other peole has well, and we can't all them to take all the glory. We are Inuzuka after all, we fight together."
He was about to say something else when Myou barked slightly telling him someone else where here with them. He took a good sniff and smelt the person has well. The scent smelled like something he had smelt before but he couldn't remember from where tho. He heard her call the whole Inuzuka name, and it made him grin from ear to ear at the moment. He slowly turned around and looked at her. ".....Ehh....aint that the flower girl from the class?" When she called out her name he knew it was and then she pronounce that she was one of his team mates. He groaned slightly to himself and watched how she went to pet Myou.
Myou stepped back away from Meushi's hand has she went to pet her. She was very picky on who she allowed to pet her and it would take a while for her to accept Meushi has a friend. She moved to behind Taiyo and sat down behind his leg allowing him to deal with the new person at the moment.
Taiyo yawned slightly seeming a bit bored with her actions at the moment. "Thats right, I am on team 6. Thats Myou, she doesn't really take to people so well. You have to butter her up for the most part. Inuzuka Taiyo, is the name." He stuffed his hands in his pockets and watched her for a moment. She smelt like flowers to him and it was slowly becoming annoying to him. "Did you go running in some flowers?"
He pulled one of his hands out of his pocket and rubbed under his nose to try and get the scent from filling his nose for the most part at the moment. He looked slightly behind him towards Myou who seemed to make a point to where the girl was at the moment. He turned his attention back to her with a grin on his face. "Aint you suppose to be a girlie girl and have flowers all over yourself?" He wasn't sure how she was going to take to the comment but from what his cousin told him about Ino it seemed to fit the Yamanaka Clan.

::Yamanaka Meushi::
Meushi was rather disappointed when Myou retreated from her attempt to pet the dog. As the dog planted itself next to Taiyo, Meushi stood back up and backed off a little to give them some space. She thought she heard a groan come from the boy, but put it out of her mind. Apparently she wasn't having a good first encounter, but she would make sure things got better before it was over with.
I guess I should have expected that, huh? You Inuzuka are supposed to be close to your dogs, so it would make sense they don't like other people that well, not at first anyways. But," she glanced down at the dog,"I'm a very persistent girl."
When the boy brought up flowers, she wasn't completely sure what he was talking about. Then she remembered that the Inuzuka had heightened senses, and she literally lived in a field of flowers. She may have gotten used to the smell, but to him, she might as well have been a walking, talking flower. It would probably annoy a boy like him to be near her if that was the case.
"Uh, well, my family works in a flower field, and our house is nearby. So I basically live amongst the flowers. I hope it isn't...
She was about to say she hoped it didn't bother him, but when he rubbed his nose she knew better than to state the obvious. This might end up being a problem if the smell bothered him this bad. It would be a big distraction to him to have the constant smell of flowers invading his nostrils. Besides, if he acted this bad about the smell, how would other tracker ninja dogs, or anything similar to them, act? She didn't want to ruin her teams locations because of her scent.
I'm really sorry it's bothering you like that. It's not like I'm doing it on purpose. Guess I better find a way to cover it up as soon as possible," she added in with a bit of a weak laugh at the end, after hastily apologizing for the first half.
His last comment caused her to pout a little bit. What did he mean by 'girlie girl'? What, were Yamanaka girls couldn't be a little more tomboyish and had to be just like Ino (not that that was a bad thing, but that wasn't the issue at hand). Besides, from the rumors she heard about the Inuzuka family, they had some rather non-girlie girls among them. It was a bit insulting.
Then again, a lot of times she did act rather girly. Just a little while ago she was digging through her closet to find just the perfect shirt. If that didn't scream girly, she didn't know what would. Ino could act very similar, and that gave a bad impression about the Yamanaka if all the girls in it acted like that. Made the females of the clan all seem more interested in gossip and fashion then shinobi. So it was a good thing he made that comment, but it was insulting too. She was getting rather confused.
"While we Yamanaka girls have a bit of a rep for being, as you say, 'girlie girl's, we aren't afraid to take charge and kick butt when needed. I just happen to go a bit further with that idea, and don't you forget it," she replied, leaning in a little, giving him a bit of a sly smile and soft glare to show she wasn't joking.

[Taiyo watched her face when Myou turned away from Meushi. He couldn't help but want to do the same but he knew he would get a rather harsh talking to from his aunt and mother if he turned away someone that was suppose to be on his team now. There was no helping it but to try and get along with the girl that was standing in front of him. He didn't have the normal trait of the eyes like most Inuzuka, but he did have the fang marks on his cheeks and the canine teeth to go along with it. His dark blue eyes scanned her for a moment trying to get any information off of her that he could.
He grinned more when she talked about the whole partner with the dogs. He heard a slight growl come behind him from Myou. He took one glance behind him and turned back to her. He kicked the ground with his left foot and into the dirt trying to say something that would defend him and Myou against her talking at the moment. "Not all dogs react to people in the same way. Akamaru, my cousin dog is rather nice around new people. Myou just doesn't like to be nice to people she doesn't know. Like humans even dogs have personalities of their own. Don't think you know a dog just because you read a stupid book about them." He turned his head towards the sky when she said persistent. "Pff. Trying to get on our good side already. Afraid we are going to bite you?" He smirked slightly to himself.
He blinked slightly when she commented that she lived in a flower field. He made a disgusting face with his tongue out for a second. He knew the Clan owned a shop here in the village, but didn't know about a field of flowers. He didn't think he could stand going over to her house until he got use to the smell that came with her. "Nah, thats okay. It would just take Myou and me a few days or so to get use to your scent. Then it wont bother us has much has it does now." He was going to give it a try at lease. He didn't want to sound too pushy at her right now.
When she didn't respond right away at his girlie girl comment it made him want to laugh, but he held it back for now. He blinked when she started to talk and defend herself about knowing how to kick butt when need. A small but playful grin came across his face. He stepped aside and turned to Myou for a moment. He bent down and petted her behind her ears slightly. "This girlie girl thinks she has what it take to hang with you Myou. You want to show her what you are made of huh girl?" Myou wagged her tail and bark and looked over to Meushi and growled playfully at her has well.
Taiyo stood up understanding Myou's answer rather fast and well. "Well it decided, girlie girl that you will be tested on the fact that you are not this girlie girl Yamanaka that you don't claim to be. Kick my butt, pff. I would like to see that for myself. That if you can handle me and Myou that is." He was not afraid of the fact that she was glaring at him, in fact the glare only made him want to push her more. "So what od you say?"

::Yamanaka Meushi::
Meushi stood quietly, hands behind her back as she rocked a little, while Taiyo talked about dogs being just like people. She thought that last comment about 'a stupid book' was unnecessary, but she decided to ignore it. Still, she could probably lighten up a little about it all.
"I guess I'll have to remember that if we meet anymore dogs. And yes, I'm trying to get on your good side. It's what I do," she added as the Inuzuka boy mentioned with a smirk.
She found his cocky attitude a bit annoying, but if he could learn to handle her flower smell, she'd learn to deal with that. Though if his ego got really big, she'd have to try and deflate it a little. It was never good to have a teammate with a big ego, or at least that was what her mother and father said. That, and she had a bit of an ego problem herself, and was constantly told she was a bit hard to handle. She had been working on it lately, though her earlier comment about butt-kicking showed she hadn't learned to completely control it.
It was then that she noticed his face after she mentioned living in the flower field. Just before she asked if he had a probelm with flowers, he started talking again. He said it would only take a few days for them to get used to her smell, which relieved her a little. Still, she would probably take a few days off from the fields to moderate it a little bit to ease the transition. Of course, she'd also remember about how bad he was affected by the smell, just in case such information would come in handy.
"Alright then, but just so you know, flowers have a lot of different scents. Let me know if any particularly bother you so I can make sure to take care of the problem," she replied, trying to help things a little with the offer. Again, though, this also would let her know which ones to use against him should the need arise.
Apparently, though, that need came way to quickly. Her showboating had apparently edged him on into a fight, and he was already pumping his dog up for the occassion. She was a little surprised at it, as she had only wanted to let him know she wasn't just a sweet, little flower girl. Instead, she apparently had challenged him to a fight, and she was almost ready to back out of it. Then it hit her that if she was to do so, not only did it prove she was a complete 'girlie girl' that couldn't fight, but it would also give the impression that all Yamanaka were like that. And her personal goal was to prove that wrong.
Trying to appear nonchalant about it, she crossed her arms and looked up at the sky for a second before closing her eyes and looking down. She was faking deep thought, and eventually went back to looking at him.
"Alright then, it's a deal. If I can hold my own against you, or even beat you, you won't call me a girlie girl, alright?"

Taiyo watched her rock in her spot, it was slightly annoying to see someone that had to move all the time, but he didn't comment on it. He was in some ways just has bad has she was when it came to moving. If he wasn't moving about with Myou he just felt like he was going to explode or something along those lines. He took a deep breath for a second and glance to the left of him, as if he saw something out of the corner of his eye. He deemed it has nothing and turned his attention back to Meushi. "If we meet other dogs?" He smirked slightly. "You know me now, and apart of my team. You will meet a lot of dogs. My cousin Hana, has three of them."
He gave a sigh slightly when she said she was trying hard to get on his good side. It wasn't really hard to do for him. Sure he seemed like he was tough and all, that was because of his background really. Growing up with Tsume has a aunt figure and all was a tough one. "Don't try so hard. I am not that hard to go along with. Besides you should try and be friends with Myou, because she can over protective over me and all. Thats the nature of a dog."
He blinked slightly when she commented about him telling her what scents bothered him badly. He never really though of a smell that really bothered him or Myou. He scratched his cheek for a moment thinking about something. He thought best to give her something to go off of so she didn't have guess what would bother them has much. He had always found strong scents to be annoying and took the longest to get use to. "Huh well, if you just stayed away from the strong scent things. That could work. We are not that picky, just don't like strong scents, it could mess with our noses."
He was petting Myou when she made the bet with him about the titlte of girlie girl. He smirked slightly and thought about it. He wasn't sure if he was ready to give up the nickname he deemed her with just yet, finding it funny that she took defense to the words. It wasn't hard to get these two pumped up for a fight, he tried to get Kiba to fight with him all the time. "We should give you a chance for you to get rid of the title Girlie girl, but if you lose thats going to be your nickname from now on!"
He got up and took out a pill for a moment. "Alright Myou are you ready?" He heard Myou give a small bark and wagged her tail. He tossed the pill down to her which she easily caught. "Jūjin Bunshin no jutsu" Just then Myou turned into another Taiyo, they looked exactly alike at the moment. "We are going to show you what partnership is really is Girlie Girl!" There was a smirk on their face has they waited for her to make her move at the moment.

::Yamanaka Meushi::
"Oh, right, all Inuzuka's have dogs," Meushi replied with a little giggle,"Though I wonder what they would all think about bringing a girl to meet the family."
Having an Inuzuka on the team was a guarantee to meeting more dogs. It was a good thing that she liked animals, because otherwise this would be torture. Of course, if there had been an Aburame on her team that would have been a different story. Bugs living inside a person? It was just a creepy idea, period. But having a dog partner like the Inuzukas? That was something she could get used to.
"Anyways, at this point Myou's the one I'm trying to impress. You're easy, she's not. Apparently girls are just a bit pickier about who they like," she said, giving a bit of a friendly smile towards the dog.
She listened as the boy talked about strong scents being of more concern, though she still had to go on his word about the smell. All in all she didn't smell anything coming from her outside of only a slight, flowerly smell. But that was because she was adjusted to it, and to someone who didn't live in flowers it might have been strong. At least his orders meant that she could still work in the fields, though maybe not as long as she used to. Her dad might end up being a little upset, but once she explained the situation she was sure he'd understand.
"Alrighty then, I'll make sure to avoid strong scented flowers just so you'll be happy. Can't have our little doggy-boy getting distracted by dandelions and orchids can we?" she said, a small smirk appearing on her ace.
The 'little doggy-boy' thing was her small revenge for the girlie girl comments. She knew it was odd she getting all worked up about it, considering that to a degree was one. It might have been because in her mind, the way he said it implied she was all flowers and no thorns (it was her equivalent to the 'all bark and no bite' idiom). That was something she couldn't stand as she had been working hard to break that image. Her relative Ino had done a great job at doing so, but there was still a lot of work to do.
"Alright then, those the terms? If I win you stop calling me 'Girly Girl', and if you win it's my new nickname. I'll even tell the rest of our team to call me that," she added in, voice tensing up a little with pre-battle excitement.
As she talked, she started to mess with her hair some. She was moving the hair that was covering part of her face to the side so it didn't get in the way. Sadly, she didn't have another hair clip on her (which was odd) so some of it went back into place as it wasn't secured. It annoyed her, and she pouted a little bit to show that frustration.
Of course the hair wasn't the only thing that was bothering her. This fight had her concerned, and she was starting to wish she hadn't made the big deal about the girly girl thing. If she had let it slide, then this fight not have even started. It wasn't that she was scared or anything (at least that was what she was telling herself), it was just that she had a bit of disadvantage against this guy. While she was competent at taijutsu, it wouldn't compare to his skills if what she knew about the Inuzuka was correct. Besides, he had a partner with him, so she had to fight two on one. And because of her flowery smell, she really couldn't hide that well. Still, she had already made the bet, and it looked as if he was ready to go, so there was no way she could back out of it.
As he threw his dog some pills, she moved her hand towards her pouch. She wanted to figure out how many petals she had in there, or at least a rough estimate of it. Earlier in the morning she was sure she had filled it up, and as her fingers felt the softness of a flower petal she was glad to feel that the bag was filled up pretty good. At least she wouldn't be completely defenseless.
Once he started to yell out his jutsu, however, she became much more nervous. Now there were two of him, which was going to make things even worse. A small dog wasn't that scary, but two feral-looking Inuzukas were. She bit the top of her lip lightly as a sign of this nervousness.
Alright Meushi, just calm down. You can handle them, show them you're not a scared little girly girl. Remember, your a Yamanaka, you can do this,
The little self-pep talk helped her out a little bit, and since her hand was still in her petal bag, she grabbed a handful of them. Concentrating, she focused her chakra towards her hand, feeling a slight tingle as it began to flow in larger amount. She then focused it into the petals, their smaller size and thinness meaning she didn't have to work really hard to do so. The petals stiffened in her hands, becoming firm, solid objects instead of the flimsy, soft petals they were before.
Wanting to get some distance before doing anything, she leaned slightly before suddenly jumping backwards, away from the two dogs. As she did, she whipped her hand out of the pouch."Shuriken no Hana." She threw the petals towards the two dogs as if they were shuriken, which with the jutsu that was what they basically were (except not as strong, making up for it in their numbers). She didn't expect to hit them, she just wanted to see what their speed was.

Taiyo made a face when Meushi commented about bringing a girl home. There was no way in hell that he was going to take this girl home with him. He didn't even know if his mother would approve of it or not but he knew better than to press the matter with her. There was also no way that he was going to take Meushi to Kiba's house and that, there was no point in his cousin meeting his team mate at the moment, they was just that, team mates not friends. "Blah! I am taking you home! You are clearly out of your mind if you think that. There no point in you meeting my family. You aint my friend."
He was kinda taking back when she called him easy, and Myou not. He growled slightly to himself, and didn't care if she heard him or not. He didn't know who the hell she was calling easy about making friends, but he was no dog that you could pet and get away with it and thinks everything was friendly towards. He looked at Myou for a second and saw that she was not really paying attention to Meushi. He smirked and looked back to her. "Looks like she still don't care for you as it is, same with me. Thinking that you know me and you are already my friend. As if."
"Little doggy-boy....." The words ran inside of his head and he didn't look that happy about the words. His smirk that he had on the face quickly turned it a frown. He didn't even like Kiba calling him little for the most part. The only oe that got away with calling him that was bar far his mother and that was only because he didn't have to heart to tell her to stop calling him that. "Don't call me little you hear? Doggy part I don't give a crap about, but the word little, you will end up with a few bite marks by the end of the day."
He listened closely at the terms and nodded when she add that if he won the whole team could call her girlie girl from now on. That was okay with him, he saw that there was no way that he was going to lose this little spar. He smirked slightly when Myou had turned into another him, it was nice to be able to have another clone of him in a fight. It would take a lot of punching Myou to change her back into her pup form but still he knew not to push her like that. "All right Myou, lets show this Flower girl of what we are able to do!"
He watched her jump back and reached behind her. He took out another pill at the moment, he watchedd the petals coming towards them. When they got closer he tossed down the smoke bomb at their feet. "Lets go Myou!" He made sure to sniff slightly to make sure he knew actually where she was. Her strong scent at the moment was working in their favor and he didn't want to blow that. "Shikyaku no Jutsu!" It didn't take them long to tranform into more of a wolf like creature inside the smoke bomb. He heard the sound from the petal soaring through the air and grinned some. "Gatsūga!" With that the smoke around the two started to twisted along with them and both Myou and Taiyo shot out at random angles of the smoke towards her last location that they smelt her from.

Meushi was just having a terrible time with this Inuzuka kid. Apparently every other word she said just made his mood turn sour. Even her normal level of cheerfulness was slipping away, giving her a rather noticeable frown on her face. Her mood was just shot when he snapped at her and said he wasn’t her friend. Sure, she might have came off a little strong with the ‘taking a girl home’ comment, but he didn’t have to get so snippy about it. It was supposed to be a joke, not a serious request to meet his family.
She was going to say something, but his attention was diverted towards Myou. Apparently she was just ignoring the entire situation, and he had let off a small growl as well. Something had made him mad, and she realized her statement about him being easy to befriend was wrong. Instead, he was probably the easiest person to tick off out of all the people she had met. She was starting to doubt it was even worth the trouble to befriend him, but she had never given up on such a thing before.
Things just got even worse when he reacted to the little comment. She hadn’t mean to get him that upset, and she didn’t think it was such a big deal. Apparently, however, he didn’t like being called that, and while she kind of liked the rise she got out of him, she made a note not to say that again. She didn’t like making people angry, at least not when they haven’t been rude to her. Of course, the way things were going this would be one of those times for her to act that way. Still, they were teammates, so she had to try to calm the situation down somehow.
“Now look here. I was just joking around and trying to be nice to you. There’s no need to have such an attitude about it. We’re going to be teammates, so we need to learn to get along,” she spouted off in a ticked off tone of her own.
And I’m sorry for calling you little, alright, she added, in a bit softer tone. Apologies were always a good way to smooth things out.
Before that could be dealt with, however, she would have to deal with the little sparring match that was going on between them. Her petal shurikens had helped her learn that she wasn’t going to be able to match his speed without straining herself beyond her limits. That was always such a good thing to know. Add in that there was two of them, and she was in serious trouble. All she had were some flower jutsu and the Yamanaka classic jutsu, the Shintenshin no Jutsu. However, if she couldn’t even catch him, that wasn’t going to be any use. If she wanted to ‘win’, she’d just have to hold out till another member of the squad arrived and intervened.
Till then, she was having to worry about the smoke bomb. While she wasn’t in the epicenter of the blast, she was still caught up in the smoke that arose from it. It stung her eyes and throat, but she resisted the urge to close her eyes and cough. She already had the flowery smell to work against her, she didn’t need to add in blindness and sound to worsen it. She began to reach for her petals, hoping to place some petal tag bombs, but the Inuzuka’s speed beat her to it.
She wasn’t sure which of them it was, but one of the Inuzuka slammed into her. She was knocked her to the ground, and she felt her arm stinging. Apparently they had gotten a chance to claw at her arm. It wasn’t deep, but it was distracting. Knowing they’d probably go after her scent again, she had to hurry up and do something. Using her other arm, she reached over and grabbed some petals. Focusing her chakra, she began to store it up in the petals.
Instead of hardening like the other petals, they retained their softness. However, they were filled with chakra, and the explosive energy it contained. When she performed the release handsign, they would explode. That was, if she ever got the chance to. For now, though, she let them fall to the ground, ready to go like a landmine.

Taiyo decided to annoy her comments about how they was about to be team mates, there was no point to him in going into all that when there was not even a team mating going. She was the one that introduce herself to him and Myou like they cared who she was. To him at the moment the only team mate that he need was Myou. Sure he knew there was a reason behind teams that he was most likely going to learn under the care of this Jounin, but he didn't need to hear anything along the lines of it from her.
To him the best solution to the matter was to drop it before their fight became about something else other than a friendly little spar over a nickname or two. He looked down to Myou and took in a deep breath, his way of telling her to calm down about what she was saying to them. He looked back up to Meushi and shrugged slightly not taking her bait if that what she was trying to do. Luring these two into a battle sometimes could be a problem.
Once they started their attack, and one of them hit her, they was getting more excited and wondering how this battle was going to end in the long run. They both landed about a good ffifteen feet from her and one raised their claw like hand and smelled the blood on it. It was their first time smell the blood and it was either strong to them just like her flowers. It wouldn't be hard focusing on that if she held her smell from them. "This is was blood smells like when I have the features of the dog and my smell is ten times greater than....
There was no way Taiyo could actually described the smell on his claw, it was strong and worse than the smell the girl had on her. In the back of his mind he remembered the smell of rotten food, he sniffed his claw once more and bite the inside of his lip. It was even a fouler smell that rotten food on a hot day. He made sure to keep a straight face, not wanting her to think there was something wrong.
Taiyo bent down and wiped his hand on the ground. He knew that would not stopped the smell reaching his nose in this state but for now it would at lease be off his claw like nail. He watched her draw more petals from her pouch, but he tilted his head slightly when she just dropped them to the ground. Last time she threw them at the two of them. He looked over to Myou just slightly but it was too late, she thinking it was a fluke took back off into a spin. His eyes shot towards the ground and sniffed. He smelt it the added chakra coming off the petal. There was only one clear reason why she would drop them to the ground like. "MYOU!" He stood up and shouted at her.
It was to late for Myou to drop the attack, Taiyo glared at the girl for a moment, before launching into a run. "Tsūga!" With that Taiyo started to twist again, this time he had a better control where he was hitting and he knew his mark, he was just hoping that he would get there before Myou did. With luck he landed just a few inches from her petals before Myou landed the blow to her. This prevented Myou taking any damage what so ever from the explosion if there was what Meushi was plotting to do in the first place.
Myou shot back after hitting the spinning Taiyo. She spunned backed to nearly where she started from but this time she changed back into her normal puppy state. She gave off a few loud barks towards Taiyo. It was clear that she was angry with him for stopping her attack like that.

::Yamanaka Meushi:: Apparently the Inuzuka boy either didn’t know how to listen, or was ignoring her. He didn’t respond to a single word she said in her little lecture. Teamwork was not on his list of important concepts it seemed. That, or maybe she had ticked him off too much and he didn’t want to listen to her. She really hoped that wasn’t the case, because it was never fun being around a person that hated your guts. Besides, if he was mad, then he might get really rough with her in the fight, and she didn’t want to be all bloodied up and dirty whenever they met the rest of the team.
After the attack landed on her, and she stood holding her arm to hopefully stop some of the bleeding, she watched them raise their claws to their faces. What were they trying to do, smell for dirt or something? That, of course, got her worried that their claws might have been poorly taken care of, and the scratches could get infected. The rather disgusted look on their faces in response to what they were smelling didn’t help her imagination at all. She would have to try and get out of this battle quick if she wanted someone to look at the scratches.
As her mind wandered in that thought, and keeping an eye on the two, she didn’t notice that her hand was getting covered in a thin, spotty layer of blood. Her arm was pulsing slightly where she was holding her arm, but eventually it began to weaken. The lack of pulse alerted her, and she slowly took her hand off her arm. The scratches were still there, and bleeding slightly still, but at least she wouldn’t have to worry about it much. It was still sore, and she would have to be careful using the arm for the rest of the battle. She glanced down at the hand, and saw some of the blood on them.
Great, got blood all on my hand and I can’t wash it or wipe it on anything…
Looking at some of the nearby trees, and the blood on her hands, she got an idea. If she wiped it on the trees, there was a chance that maybe it would confuse them a little bit. Her scent in several spots would make it harder to track the real her. Leave some petals at the spots as well to get the flower smell, and she could hopefully throw them off her trail. First, however, it seemed she would have to deal with another attack.
One of the clones was coming at her with another Tsuga attack, and she started to move her hand into the release position to activate the petals. She took another step back, so she wouldn’t get caught up in the explosion, and waited for them to get into range. So it surprised her a little when the other one ran towards her, and instead of attacking, used a Tsuga to block the other one. Did they know about the petal tags? Whatever the cause, this one was pretty close, and even if it missed, the dust clouds would hopefully hide some of her movements. Using her blood-free hand, she moved her hand into the release handsign, and gave a slight wink.
”Release”
Within a second, the petals on the ground began to explode in rather small bangs, kicking dust and dirt up into the air. Not even giving time to see what has happening behind the cloud, Meushi ran off into the woods to try and see if her plan would work. Stopping at the first tree she ran into, she smeared some of the blood from her scratches and cuts onto it, and then dropped a few petals on the ground.
Hmm, starting to get low on petals here. I got to get him to call it a draw soon or I’m going to be in some serious trouble
With that, she headed deeper into the woods, found another tree, and did the same thing. The petals she dropped did have some chakra added into them. If he did find out about the tags before, then most likely he could sense the chakra somehow. Most likely that meant he could sense hers, so it would be very suspicious if her flowery scent and blood were in a spot but no chakra. Besides, if it worked, she could catch them with an explosion to knock them out of the tree.
She stopped at two trees, wanting to reserve her shrinking supply of petals for more important things. If this little plan of hers didn’t work, she didn’t want all of her petals wasted on it. Next, she found a third tree to hide in, and climbed up into the branches. She hated the hiding spot, with sticks poking her in the back and sides just about everywhere, but she was going to show this kid she wasn’t just a simple flower girl he could mess with. If it meant suffering some minor pain, then so be it.

When Meushi released the exploding petal's Taiyo had just placed his hand down on the ground and the blast that he took was a minor one, a few scratches from the petals and the blast was all. Without realizing what he was doing he released some chakra from his hand and flipped backwards in front of Myou. He had landed on one knee and leg up. He was back in his normal appearance has she darted into the trees. "That blast was noot even enough to hurt us, maybe I did wrong with blocking Myou like that. NO! I must not think that. If she would have got hurt it was be on me and I am sure Aunt Tsume and Hana would have had my skin if I had taken that root eve if it was just a minor blast. There is no telling what she is able to do..Little Flower girl going to get it tho."
Myou jumped on his back, her front paws up on his shoulder. She nibbled at his hair and barked slightly. She was a little annoyed at him for taking her spot in the blast. She worried about him just has much has he worried about her. Her attention tho was turned into the trees and she growled slightly at the scent of blood that was becoming confusing for her.
Taiyo heard the bark from Myou and smirked some. He knew she was angry with him for blocking her like so. He reached up and petted Myou's neck slightly. "I know girl, but there was no choice. You are smaller than me and that blast could have hurt you. Don't charge in so reckless like that again, specially if she dropping those stupid flowers all over the ground like that." Now that he had seen what she was doing with the petals it was not that hard to determine her next move was going to be, the only thing that he didn't sense at the moment was the fact that she was spreading her blood all over the trees to confuse the two of them. He looked over his shoulder when she started to growl towards the trees.
He stood up and took out another pill for Myou, he held it up to her mouth and watched her lick it off his hand. "Alright girl, lets go at this again. This time make sure you stay away from those flowers. This is no reason for either one of us to get hurt by them if we are playing attention to them." He took a deep breath and placed his hands together. "Jūjin Bunshin no jutsu." Myou jumped off his back when she started to transform into another Taiyo again. "Shikyaku no Jutsu!" After the two Taiyo's finger nails grew and teeth grew Taiyo got the added effect of the scent. It was then when he smelt the blood scent all around the trees. He winced slightly, his thought about following the scent of that instead of her flower smell was ruin.
He looked around slightly and reached into his pouch for his own kunai and exploding tag. It was a fact exploding tag and he held it out towards the Myou's clone to take into its mouth. "Myou you hold onto that in your mouth don't let go." The clone nodded and took the thing in its mouth and looked ahead and waited for the real one move. Taiyo hoped that with seeing Myou with the kunia in her mouth that it would confused Meushi into think that she was the real one so he could go in for an attack other than having Myou risk that on herself. "We will follow the scent of the flowers more, it not that had to smell them still."
With that they both started to charge into the trees, searching for the flower smell that they had smelled before all this blood came to the trees. When Taiyo spotted Meushi, he watched this clone jump down in front of her. Myou growled slightly and crouched down and started to charge at the girl. Taiyo watched carefully in a nearby tree, ready to either attack or back up Myou if Meuhsi tried anything funny again.

::Yamanaka Meushi:: From her position in the woods Meushi was unable to get a good idea of what was happening between Taiyo and Myou. The only thing she knew about the situation was that one of them had interrupted the other during their last attempt to attack her. Knowing their personalities, it wouldn’t be to surprising if they broke out into a small fight. That would actually work to her advantage some as tensions between teammates helped to break down the ability to work together. Then again, the two of them had been friends almost from birth, so they most likely were going to patch things up rather quickly.
Seeing as it was taking awhile for them to find her, Meushi found it safe to assume that her little trick with her blood had worked. That or these two were the worse trackers in the entire Leaf village, which she highly doubted. She took full advantage of the situation to rest up some and start figuring out what to do next. Taking her petal bag, she opened it up to get an idea just how many were left. From the looks of it a little more than a third of them were left, which was not a good situation for her. Outside of the Academy jutsu, she only had two other jutsus that didn’t use flowers, and neither of them was good for this situation. Mind-Body Change wasn’t practical without a way to trap them, and the only way she could trap them at the moment was her Hair Trap technique. That, however, she was saving for a last-resort only situation, and a sparring match wasn’t such a case. Besides, if she was to use it, her hair wouldn’t be back to normal for weeks.
So if she was going to get out of this fight with dignity, she was going to have to locate some more flowers and stock up on more petals. She wasn’t sure if she could find any nearby, and with these two hounds on her case, it would be hard to do anything but dodge and run. Hiding was out, because even though the blood trick removed that option of tracking her, she still had her flowery smell as far as she knew. Running through the woods wasn’t going to be enough to get rid of it, so she had to find some way to cover it up. Covering herself up in dirt would probably do the trick, but the thought of just covering herself with dirt was rather…unsettling. Unless there was a stream or something nearby she could take a quick dip in, she was going to be out of luck.
About the only thing she knew for sure was that she was going to have to get a move on soon. Staying in one spot was a bad thing, and the two dogs would be closing in on her soon enough. Besides, the branches were really starting to get on her nerves, what with the sticking into her sides and all that. Slowly, she started to get up, but before she got a chance to jump out and onto the ground, one of the two jumped in front of her. She didn’t know which one it was, but they had a kunai with an explosion note on it. Was it planning a suicide attack or something?
This complicated things, to say the least. The tree was behind her, and she assumed the other one had to be around somewhere nearby. If she tried to move, they would probably get her. That meant she was going to have to fight this one somehow if she wanted to get the chance to escape. Or she could try to bluff her way out of it. Then again, these two were rather determined and/or dense, so most likely they would call her on it. One thing for sure, she didn’t enjoy being trapped in a corner.
Then, she remembered that she had a little trick up her sleeve still. Even if the petals she had dropped earlier weren’t enough to throw them ooff her flowery scent, they were still prepped and ready to explode on her command. Maybe, if she had dropped just enough petals, she could damage the two trees she had visited earlier enough that they would fall, or at least part of them. The pure amount of destruction, noise, and chaos they would cause in the woods could serve to distract the two Inuzukas enough for her to make an escape. She grinned a little at the thought, and decided it was worth a shot.
Acting as fast as possible, she moved her hand into the release handsign. She braced herself, legs poised and ready to jump to the ground and run as soon as possible. Closing her eyes, she focused on the petals that she had scattered at the trees. This was harder to do then when they were right next to her, but she could still sense them. Concentrating, she imagined releasing all the energy in the petals at once with as much force as possible.
”Release!”
[OOC: I’ll let you decide if the explosions are strong enough to work for her plan]
