::Yamanaka Meushi:: Meushi just rolled her eyes at Taiyo’s lackluster response to her ‘I’m going to be a girl’ statement. Didn’t surprise her at all of course. It just seemed rather apparent that he had never been around a girl who was actually overly girlish. If Taiyo was anything to base the rest of the Inuzuka on, then most likely the girls were probably very tomboyish. That would probably explain why he didn’t enjoy being hugged and wanted to get away from her as fast as possible. For a moment she thought about toning it down some, but threw the idea out…mostly. She wouldn’t hug him too often (the occasional glomp just to mess with him maybe), but there was no way she was going to give up on flowers or anything like that. Her scent she would make sure wasn’t overly strong, but that was the farthest she was going to go on that.
With Taiyo and Myou playing catch, Meushi just stood back and watch. She wasn’t going to jump into the middle of this little moment, and instead just watched as Myou ran after it. The puppy was rather adorable when it wanted to be, and right now, with her tail wagging as she ran after the ball in delight, this was one of those times. So when Taiyo handed the ball to her and told her to play catch, Meushi wasn’t so sure what to do. No, she knew how to throw a ball, it was the fact that Taiyo was actually letting her play with Myou that had caught her off guard.
Grabbing the ball, she gave him a simple ”Okay” before watching as Myou pranced around her legs. With a quick smile to the dog, Meushi brought her arm back and threw the ball, gently of course. She didn’t think Taiyo wanted Myou to run out of their sight after all. The ball soared for a moment before lowering to the ground, and eventually bounced on the ground before rolling some.
”That a good enough throw?” she asked, looking for some kind approval from the dog boy.
Eventually the topic of lunch returned, with the asking of a drink order as well as finally getting a menu of sorts. The drink was easy; she may be picky on the foods, but she almost always got tea if she could. A perfect compromise of taste and nutrition that someone who dieted craved. She was glad they had salad, but if she wanted to prevent any more joking on her figure, she probably would want to order something a little else. Sushi sounded decent enough, and if she just got a small bit of it then it wouldn’t be that much of a deal.
”Uhm, I’ll probably have tea, and I’m going to get the salad as well. But I think I might get a small side of sushi just to be a bit spoiled. Besides, from what I’ve seen of you today, I have a feeling apologizing isn’t something that comes easy so we should celebrate that,” she anwswered, the last bit being a joke of her own.
[[OOC:I'm starting to run low on ideas here. Want to see if someone else wants to join in?]]

Taiyo watched Meushi take the ball from him and threw it ahead of them. He could tell that she didn't want to throw it that far ahead of them, for whatever reason. He was not going to really pick a fight because of her throwing. He had witness first hand that she could throw, even if she was blinded by smoke too. He reached up and rubbed his arm from where her petal got him. It still hurt when he touched it and he was sure he was going to have his cousin to heal it from him. Or at lease hide it from his mother so she didn't freak out about it. There was no reason for her to get upset about these things now. He was a ninja after all and that was what was going to happen to him now, he just hope that he could protect Myou from these attacks.
He looked back to Meushi when she asked about if that was a good throw. He nodded his head slightly. "Yea, you don't throw that badly." He said with a smile, trying to make a joke about it. He was not trying to insult her at all it was just something that he was use to doing when he was joking around. Insulting when joking was something that he picked up from Kiba over the years of hanging around him. He placed his hands in his pockets has he watched Myou ran ahead of them and got the ball.
As Myou ran a head he listened Meushi to what she wanted to eat and drink. He nodded slightly and smiled slightly. "Sure I can get those things for you, no problem." He took his hand out of his pocket and took the ball back from Myou when she came back up with it. He smiled and petted her slightly and placed the ball back into his pouch. It was better that he placed it up now than when he got to the restaurant. Myou would be upset if he kept on going and than placed it up. This way she knew that it was time to be serious.
When they reached the restaurant Taiyo smiled at Meushi and told her to have a seat in a booth. He ran up to the counter where his mother was and started to talk to him. But he was soon cut off by her remark about him not cleaning his room the night before. He grinned slightly and started to try and talk back to her but was cut off by Myou pulling on his pants leg. He grinned and ordered the food for at lease Meushi.
He watched his mother disappear and reappear with the bag of food and drink. He took it and walked over to Meushi with a big grin. "Sorry, I can't join you for lunch. I have to help my mother out here because something about me not picking up my room like I was told...but I am sure I picked it up..." He placed the items on the table in front of her. "I will see you later Meushi. No hard feelings about today!" He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck some.

::Yamanaka Meushi:: Meushi noticed Taiyo touching the spot on his arm where he had gotten hit by one of her petals, and smiled to herself. It looked as if it was going to be a constant reminder to him that she wasn’t someone to toy with. Even under girly behavior and fashion obsession, she was still a ninja, and you didn’t mess with ninja unless you wanted to get beaten. Besides, it was a matter of pride for her to have gotten the hit since, she suspected, it was during her fit of rage. That had to have been some decent accuracy on her part to have pulled that off.
”Yeah, I didn’t want to throw too hard and have Myou run out of sight,” Meushi replied when Taiyo responded to her question. Seeing as he was being rather casual, she stopped with the whole skipping about thing and walked a little bit behind him (he’d probably be upset if she walked next to him), hands lazily behind her back. Her eyes were focused on Myou running about, but shifted back to Taiyo as he spoke up again.
”Oh good, cause I didn’t want you to go through all the trouble of taking me somewhere and then I don’t get a bite to eat,” she said, giving off a slight laugh since at least she thought the statement funny.
They must have been getting close to the restaurant as Taiyo put the ball away when Myou returned. A few moments later they were, and Taiyo told her to sit in a booth. Being nice, she choose one off to the side and away from any windows. That way no one would see that he was having lunch with him. Though if someone did see, they would suspect they were trying to hide something. Or at least if the person was like herself at least. She really did spend too much time with Ino. As Taiyo dealt with his mom, she was busy watching all the other people in the restaurant and trying to deduce any couples in the restaurant.
Upon Taiyo’s return with the food, she noticed it was only her own order. She was about to ask about it when he explained he had to help his mother because he hadn’t cleaned his room. It took a lot of effort from her part to not burst out laughing at it, but he was going to leave in a moment, and she can have all the fun of it without the consequence of hurting their barely stable friendship.
”Kind of hard to have hard feelings after someone buys you lunch. Guess I’ll see you along with the rest of the team once training starts. And have fun picking up that room,” she said, giving him a playful smirk before focusing on chowing down on her lunch.
