July 18 Update!

All right, thought I owed everyone an update before I'm off. A long one, too.

To start things off, I'd just like to put out a notice for those of you that don't know or haven't read my absence thread. I will be leaving mid-week to go camping for about a week or so. This will mean that Monsun will be in charge for the time being... However, if you happen to have any qualms that you would like dealt with 'directly' from me, please drop me an e-mail at [e-mail]. I will not have a computer out there, but I will have my phone, and I am capable of checking my e-mail on there. Note that if I have to explain a lot of stuff [try to keep it down to a minimum, I only have so much room to type] you may get one or more e-mails on the same subject. However, if you wish, you may ask the following people to drop me a text on the subject:

Aya
Mark [Gai / Asuma / "Sensei"]
Rose [Kurenai]
Kiba

If you'd like to contact me personally by text then simply ask. If you are on Leaf Academy like I know some are, you can also send message through Goveta there. I believe that's all who have my numbers... Oh. Thomas [formerly Jiraiya / Kabuto] also does, and if he shows up tell him he needs to text me ASAP. >_>

For the second update. There have been a lot of characters that have been deleted with the Activity Check. If they come back, TELL THEM TO EMAIL ME IF THEY ARE DISAPPOINTED. I can explain things from there [any of the other staff, however, feel free to explain it yourself and direct them to me if there are any problems]. I will be getting updates of what's going on around the site probably daily from people, so don't think I won't miss anything : ) If there are any cbox problems, you can still be banned : ) Mon-chan has been given the login information. ^_^

Thirdly, the Jounin Exams. We will be starting the exams after I get back, so about in... a week, maybe two? Approximately that, anyways. I'm thinking two because I'll be busy after I get back, hopefully going to do some driving with my dad, maybe go for my road test sometime, and start looking for a job. Just to let you know, it will be one, perilous, two, there will be three different tests. We've been discussing it for a while now... And a third thing. The staff will NOT be able to cheat. I've worked around this : ) You'll see how.

In regards to the exams, if you have put your Chuunin in and do NOT wish them to advance to Jounin yet, PLEASE LET ME KNOW [Sakura's account]. That way we can move you from the possibility list. As well, if you would like to enter your Chuunin into the exams, you may either send me a PM or one of the other staff.

REGARDING THE POPULATION OF KONOHA.

As of now, we will no longer be acceping ANY CUSTOM KONOHA-NIN. The village itself is too over-populated, so please consider having them from another village. Any WIPs AS OF THE TIME THAT THIS IS POSTED are not subject to the change, but may be asked to change if they wish. Konoha nukenin, however, will be allowed still [nin who have defected from Konoha] as well as Konoha canons.

Now. This is a bit of a rant on my part, but this is also very important. Perhaps you noticed that I had to tell a few people to go post in the Activity Check? I also had people who were logging in during a few past ones who complained. You know what? Pardon my French, but IT IS NOT OUR f*ckING JOB TO TELL YOU. Pay attention to the notices. We don't post them so you can just look over them and forget them. THEY. ARE. IMPORTANT. If you cannot keep up with the notices and end up being deleted from the check - I do not give a flying f*ck if you were in the cbox, posting IC, logging in, WHATEVER - then DO NOT COMPLAIN. It is your own goddamn fault for not paying attention.

I apologize if I have offended anybody, but I shouldn't have to tell you. I do enough work around here as is. Pay attention to things that are posted, ESPECIALLY in the Announcements and the Rules boards. It's your own fault if you've been deleted and haven't said anything, or have spoken too late.

Regarding leaves of absence.

I know that most of you are pretty on-the-ball when it comes to this kinda stuff - actually, probably ninety percent or so - but if you're leaving... PLEASE LET US KNOW. I absolutely hate it when people disappear without reason. Actually, to be honest, if you disappear and then randomly pop back on the cbox to say you disappeared - or just text me going "oh yeah, I have a bit of an absence" almost like you didn't care... well... I'm not going to care either. I can understand if you lost computer priviledges and couldn't get to a library for, say, a week... but seriously..? I got a text from someone who had my number [some of you may know who] who basically said "oh, if you were worried, I'm on holidays. And my computer is out of service." Was I impressed? No.

Post absences if you're leaving. Or tell me immediately. Or SOMEONE. If you look at the most recent Activity Check... Hmm. Oh, Mark was out a computer. Okay... But did he tell someone to post him a message? YES. Rose [Kurenai] covered for him on that. [He could've told me himself, but he still told someone, right?] I don't like stupid incidents like that. If you're museless and can't really get anything posted, well... At least show up. At least make your presence known.

In regards to posting...

All righteys. Some of us have... A lot of characters. Hell, so do I; I currently have a total of nine. This is a note to everyone: if you can't handle all of your characters, DROP SOME. Do you wanna know the reason I tend to take such a long time to post? I'm the head Admin. I do a lot of work around here. Now, most of you understand that, but I mean, if you were planning to snap at me over it... Please don't. I've had a rough enough summer already, and I don't need people snapping. I do both work that people see around the site as well as a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff, too. I'm like the gasoline that keeps the car running, and I'm the oil, too. [Fail reference... shut up. T_T] So yeah.

But I see members who seem to be having troubles keeping up [not going to mention any names... can't remember off the top of my head] with all of their characters. And that's all they are... members. They don't have character applications to review. They don't have Jounin exams to discuss. They don't have behind-the-scenes plot work to think of. They aren't the absolute top of the freaking totem pole here. If real life gets in the way, fine, I understand. But don't let laziness claim that.

Now for some happy news!

I'd like y'all to welcome our newest staff member [er, though she's not so new anymore, lulz], Elfie! Currently, she's got one character that's working her way along; Ketsueki Sora, a nukenin from the Hidden Mist, and she's currently working on Sasori, the puppet master of the red sands, and one of Mitsukai Aiuya's younger sisters, Mitsukai Shiori! If you have any questions, she's usually around [if she's not hyped up on painkillers like she has been lately, lol... Go Elfie. XD]

What else? Well... As well, I'll be putting in my votes for the Spotlights early, so they can be counted. I'll be sending them via... Iunno. Probably text... or something... So that they can be counted. They may also not be updated until after I get back [so they may start a few days later than planned, but that's all right.]
