Appearance:

Tobi is normally seen nowadays in his spiral orange mask and his dark black cloak. His mask has one eyehole, located on the right side and he has short but spiky hair protruding from the top. He normally wears some type of battle armor beneath the cloak, consisting of a black chestplate and some type of metal guards on his thighs, possibly containing weapons. His devious, red Sharingan can sometimes be seen glimmering through the eyehole, but it is extremely hard to do, especially since it took Kakashi so long WHILE he was using the Sharingan.

While traveling, Tobi likes to wear his black cloak, but would gladly switch it for the Akatsuki cloak (he has to wait for an opening, even though Zetsu says he probably wouldn't get in anyway)

Personality:

Madara is normally calm and collected, but has only been openly polite to Uchiha, Sasuke. He rarely uses honorifics (san, chan, kun, etc) prefering less formal diction with "villanous arrogance." He manipulates most everybody, such as "believing" Pain's ideology in order to control him to gain the power of the nine tailed beasts or getting Sasuke to destroy Konoha, as they both held a grudge against it. He has no qualms about sending people to their deaths, and would not hesitate to send even his closest friend to the grave if it would make him stronger. He befriended Sasuke to get him to join the Akatsuki, but secretly shows interest in Sasuke's abilities.

When the situation requires it, he dons the less serious personality of Tobi, often acting foolish and childish. For example, he exclaims that it's "Not fair!" that he has to battle one against nine. Plus, after pretending to scream in pain, he yells "NOT!" As Tobi, he likes to annoy people and has been known to crack jokes at times of serious matters. Even when he is alone as Tobi, he will practice this other personality, acting goofy and immaturish.

History:

Decades before the start of the series, Madara grew up in constant competition with his younger brother, Izuna Uchiha who were both known as the most gifted members of their clan. Their competition led to both gaining the Mangekyo Sharingan, and with it they were able to take control of the Uchiha clan, Madara acting as its leader. Even by his clan's standards, Madara's chakra was unusually strong. Under his leadership the clan conquered all they came across, but overtime he began to lose his sight because of the Mangekyo Sharingan. To regain his vision he took his brother's eyes (an act Madara says his brother consented to), allowing him to continue to lead the Uchiha to prosperity.

In the years that followed, the Uchiha constantly clashed with the equally powerful Senju clan. To bring an end to the continued fighting, the leader of the Senju, Hashirama Senju, approached Madara with an offering of peace. Although Madara never wanted peace with the Senju, the rest of the Uchiha wanted to end the fighting and Madara had no choice but to go along with their decision. The Senju, the Uchiha, and all the clans they had conquered came together to form the village of Konohagakure. Against Madara's wishes, the villagers selected Hashirama as the village's First Hokage. Madara feared that Hashirama would oppress the Uchiha and tried to rally support for challenging his leadership. Rather than help him, however, the Uchiha turned their backs on him, believing his only motives were greed.


Abandoned by his clan, Madara left the village so that he could return to challenge Hashirama in battle. They fought at the site that would someday be called the Valley of the End where, although Madara called upon the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox, he was defeated and believed to have died. Madara faded into memory, and in time would found Akatsuki and become Kirigakure's Mizukage.

After Abandoning

Twelve years before the start of the series, the demon fox attacked Konoha. Although Madara denies to have had any involvement in the attack, Minato Namikaze and Itachi Uchiha say the demon fox was under Madara's control at the time. A few years later he infiltrated Konoha to try and rekindle the flames of war. He was found by Itachi first, who convinced Madara to spare the village in exchange for helping to wipe out the Uchiha clan for deserting him decades earlier. Madara complied, training Itachi and providing assistance. Itachi never truly trusted Madara, however, and kept an eye on him for the rest of his life.

Madara's mask at the time he met Itachi.To keep in Akatsuki's shadow, Madara eventually took on the disguise of Tobi,[1] giving orders to Pain in secret. He wears an orange, swirl-patterned mask that reveals only his right eye. He wore a different mask when he trained Itachi. His hair is cut back from the days of Konoha's founding and he wears a uniform consisting of a number of bolts and pins, which is usually concealed by his Akatsuki cloak.

While acting as Tobi, he is carefree and goofy, something that annoys most of the other members. Deidara, who believes all within Akatsuki should be serious and calm, is not pleased with Tobi's childish personality, and frequently attacks the latter in a comedic fashion when annoyed. Apparently, Madara is very commited to keeping his identy secret as he has been seen keeping up his goofy appearance even when no one was around (at least during the anime's filler arc). Kisame and Zetsu, on the other hand, somewhat appreciate Tobi's ability to brighten up a gloomy organization such as theirs.

This technique changes earth into fine sand by channeling chakra into it, allowing the user to dig through it like a mole. While underground, one can sense what is happening on the surface and use that information to launch a surprise attack on the enemy. One can also hide deep in the ground, escaping to a depth where the enemy can't reach. Tobi used this attack to hide some Exploding Clay underground. Deidara used this technique to escape damage of one of his exploding suicide clones in the fight against Team Guy, and Team Kakashi.



~ Madara's Teleporting Technique (Unnamed)[Unnamed] :: Type: Unknown rank, Supplementary, All ranges

Madara is able to teleport himself or anyone he touches to another location in an instant. Kakashi Hatake likens it to the Flying Thunder God Technique because of its time and space manipulation, but notes Madara's version to be much more versatile. The ability can be used without predefined locations and without hand seals. It can also be used to transport only parts of Madara's body elsewhere, leaving him visible to opponents but impervious to attack.

As James danced across the floor, hand in hand with Lily, he couldn't help but feel a triumphant swelling in his chest. One, he was dancing with Lily Evans. And two, the look on Snape's face was priceless. Perhaps he could somehow withdraw that memory and hold it forever.... It would be something to be able to show Sirius. James lifted up his arm and twirled Lily in a circle. He watched her red hair fly in the air, and then come to a stop, bouncing around on the back of her head.


James smiled. It wasn't one of those smirks he shot at Snape, nor was it the roguish grin he gave when get a date. No, it was a true smile, one with which you could see James' straight white teeth. The music stopped to give the musicians time to relax a bit and choose their next bit of music, so James took this opportunity to lead Lily to the food and drink.


Swiping a few cakes from a platter, he turned to Lily, offering her a few. "Pumpkin Pastry?" he asked, taking a bite of his own orange cake, which was indeed shaped like a small pumpkin. Pausing to sample a custard cream, he picked up a ladle and prepared to get two glasses of pumpkin juice before he remembered Sirius' little prank he had been planning. Quickly, James plunged his hand into a pocket of his robes and drew out a his wand. Quickly conjuring a flask of iced Pumpkin Juice, he poured it into the flasks and turned around and handed one to Lily. It was then that he spotted Sirius, escorting a certain Emmeline Vance. James grinned at him and turned back to Lily.

One, could you please resize your pictures, or just include one? You don't really need the one of Madara, because chances are we probably won't even see the actual Madara. We'll see his personality, but not his actual appearance. He'll be hiding as Tobi for the time being.

Okay, on the appearance... Tobi himself isn't actually part of the Akatsuki yet, so he wouldn't have a cloak. You have to remember, all of the rings are taken; Tobi only joined when Sasori died, and Sasori's still alive at the moment. He won't have anything to do with the Akatsuki other than reporting to Pein [and probably Konan, too] as Madara.

Your personality... There's *two* technically bipolar parts of his personality you can do... And I see about 100 words or so? I'd really like you to expand on that. I mean, if I can take someone like Tenten and get out seven paragraphs for a personality - for a character who doesn't even have a friggin' background life, not to mention for the most part she was only in filler arcs - then you can definitely get some good paragraphs on that. You don't necessarily have to re-word what they give you on NaruWiki; do more than that, expand on each of the points. NaruWiki is a place where you start, and you can add stuff to canon personalities, too, so long as it's not completely out-there. Things like habits, quirks, likes, dislikes, etc etc. Please add quite a bit to his personality. I'd generally expect to see a long ass personality because Tobi and Madara are generally two people, in a sense.

His affiliation would probably be... Hmm, I'm not sure. I'd say he'd be a nukenin right now, but nonetheless he's still the Mizukage and the one that Pein himself reports to. I believe Konan reports to him, too, but only when Pein is around, not by herself; she usually reports to Pein.

Your jutsu, you don't need to include who uses them and when the debut in the manga was. Also, just a note on his teleportation: if I catch you severely godmodding with it - and I *will* be watching, because Madara is a very powerful character - there won't be any warnings. Madara will be revoked without warning. Not that I don't trust you, but just as a precaution. ^^

Hmm... Oh, for that scythe, you might want to include it in a canon weapon format if he's ever going to use it. If not, you don't need to include it. You should also mention that he's got the standard shinobi set as well [obviously xD].

I see nothing else, other than you should credit NaruWiki in the Extra Notes for history / jutsu and maybe do something for theme songs... If not, just remove the section.

As well, don't forget that for the most part, you'll be portraying the hyperactive Tobi.

`Appearance: I know he is cannon and we have only seen his appearance with the Mask on, but you are role playing him has the Mizukage has well. Since the nations are all gathering information about the Akatsuki at the moment, I don't think he going to walk around Kirigakure in anything that might tie him to the group. Also he is near 100 or over there got to be scars that he trying to hide due to the fighting with the Senju Clan back before The Hidden Leaf Village is created.

`Personality: He masterminding has has the leader of the Akatsuki that seems to have a grudge about Konoha, once again I know that he is cannon and don't really have a personality set at the moment. This is your chance to make him come more into play has Tobi/Madara. How he feels about the Uchiha Clan and how there is only three of them left. How he sees his and Itachi relationship at the moment, they work together and Itachi doesn't trust him.

History: Having a Kirigakure Ninja myself would like to see how he became Mizukage, not necessary. This is your chance to make Tobi/Madara into a person other than a monster the rest of the Naruto world sees him has at the moment. You are not bound to the standards of years here like some other characters are. Filling in the gap the years between any of the years that he been missing is unique, but once more not necessary. But Like Saska said before, you need to give create to where ever you got this information and check it for grammar errors.

Jutsu: Please remove the Japanese in the first one. As in starting with the Doton line is where you need to start the Japanese. Also you can give him a little more jutsu, like the common ones and he ones that he might have picked up with his Sharingan.
