Funny Story...You're Gonna Laugh...I Hope...

So all summer long I swore to myself and my friends that I would finish a novel I've been working on the past year. But I've been lazy and a tad museless. So...I didn't really get much done in the ways of actually writing it...

And the other day I call my friend Becca up on the phone to invite her to my Sweet Sixteen party. Here's how it went down:

Becca: So...how's the novel?

Me: Um...it's good...good...almost done...I've actually finished all the planning!

Becca: Awesome! So, can I write fanfiction on it yet? For your bday? Of course, I'll need what you've done so far as a reference...

Me: Um--No! I'd rather wait until I finish it. ^^"

Becca: Ooh...okay. ... So, how many pages?

Me: Pardon?

Becca: What? 70...100...200?

Me: ...I don't really remember...

Becca: Could you check?

Me: *looks at computer in front of her* Er, no. My compie is turned off...downstairs...

Becca: Oh, okay. Then show me at your party, okay? At this rate, you'll be finishing the final touches during band camp! See ya!

Me: Um...yeah...bye.

*click*

So...you see my dilemma. I now have ten days to write...ten chapters. Please forgive me if I disappear a little bit...I really need to go into marathon mode on this one. SHE WILL NEVER FIND OUT!!!!

If I were you, I'd just hide it in the nether regions of your computer [somewhere, I dunno where] and tell her you seriously can't find it. Then finish and like, do a surprise or something... At like the end of the year... or something. <_< Procrastination ftw?

Nonetheless, hope you manage to get at least some of that done. I'll be slow with posting, so... er... yeeeeeeeeeeah. One thing I don't have to worry about for a few days, ne? <_<
