It was finally morning as the Kazekage woke up. He looked around his corridor and headed to bathroom, as he washed up he looked into the mirror, a blank stare of calm and suttle like behavior was shown on his face. When he finished washing up he left the bathroom and grabbed onto his Kazekage robe an put it on. As he started to sit at his desk he noticed he still had paperwork to finish, he rested as he watched the pile of books and the single plant on his desk. This village is someplace I'm truly proud of.
As he grabbed onto one of the books in his hand he looked into it, the book he grabbed was no other than the bingo book. As he went through the pages he saw something, a picture of himself since he was a threat to the village. Gaara knew what was once his past wouldn't happen in his future so he continued flipping threw the pages. A couple of pages down he saw another ninja he knew nothing of but was from the sand. Akasuna no Sasori puppet master, he was a missing-ninja but Gaara couldn't wonder why. He closed the book and looked out the side view behind him, he watched as the villagers walked around calmly in this peace time.
Gaara stood up and decided to get some fresh air, he started to walk but stopped, he looked at his gourd wondering whether he should take it just in case an enemy appeared. In the end though he decided not to take as he continued out the door. He walked through the manor waving to his fellow shinobi as he headed to the top of the manor. Gaara opened the door and looked outside, the sun blaring on his face, making his turquoise eyes glow somewhat. He walked forward until he reached the bars by the edge, he grabbed hold of them as he sighed. His mind wandered on the leaf village and his friend Uzumaki Naruto, it's been over two yrs since the last saw each other.
He wondered if he became any stronger? Would they meet again? Uzumaki Naruto you once said your bonds with your friends made you stronger, I think I finally understand. Suffering, sadness... and joy. To be able to share it with another person. The people he cherished the most Temari, Kankuro, Baki-sensei, and the number one knucklehead ninja Naruto. He felt he needed to thank them once more, feeling bad for everything he put them through, they cared for him, but to only shun them, he was truly sorry. Gaara continued to look through the village, to only move forward was his new goal and to protect those dearest.

Not being one to sit around and be bored all day, Kankuro was well ahead of Gaara, walking around as he tried to find something to entertain him. As usual, he was in his black hooded attire with his unique painted face, but instead of Karasu on his back, a simple scroll took the puppet's place, as it contained all 3 of his puppets inside. So instead of looking threatening and weird at some points, Kankuro found himself dragging the scroll around to access his masterpieces of misery when needed.
It had been a long road for Kankuro and his two other sibs, as they now enjoyed what seemed to be peaceful times for the Sand Village. It had been a struggle with the Leaf Nin through the years, but after working closely with them, he had a little respect for them, and things were changing and the Sand Sibs grew closer, especially Kankuro slowly gaining more respect for his brother Gaara, seeing all that he battled with.
Kankuro had somewhat of a grin on his face, glad that all this activity in the Sand Village was going on. Business in the marketplace was going strong, and everyone seemed to move with the sense of everything being fine. The puppeteer kept moving through the village until he was suddenly hit in the head with a ball. Kankuro shook his head and growled, tossing the ball back to a group of kids. "Damn kids, they're lucky I don't pop the ball and kick their ass." He muttered to himself, still having his slight dislike for children.
Kankuro shook his head and continued on ahead, rubbing his head. "Meh, Its the same old stuff, not a thing to..." He muttered, looking around and stopping himself as he spotted someone he didn't expect to see at the moment, atop the administration manor. "Gaara?" He said lowly to himself. Kankuro wondered what the boy was up to, surprised to see him where he was, out of his office. "What in the world is that kid doing?" It was not like Temari to over sleep, specially when she knew that she had things to do for the day, but she did anyways. Once she did finally get out of bed she got dressed and fixed up her hair like normal. Her headband tho was around her neck today, she didn't feel like wearing it on her forehead like she had been doing has of late. She placed on her Jounin gloves that she had taken the metal back off of. She didn't like the gloves with the symbol on them, the headband was enough.
Once she was done getting ready, she looked at the file that she was working on for the next Chuunin Exam that she was working on in the Land of Fire. She preferred being here than going to the cool Land of Fire, she just liked the heat better because she was used to it. "Hmm I wonder what my brothers are up to today." She knew that Kankuro was most likely playing with his puppets, something that she had always found amusing, specially when he first got into it. She also knew that Gaara was probably busy with being Kazekage, something that she was proud of him doing. He deserved it, for the change he had gone through thanks to that kid named Naruto. She knew her younger brother was not all bad, it just took someone that was just like him to change him. She was not completely scared of him anymore, tho he did still have his moments that sent a shiver down her spine.
When she was finished with her tea, she decided to go and find at lease Gaara since she already knew where he was. She head to the Kazekage mansion, having gotten her own apartment so she didn't wake either one of them up when she came back from the Hidden Leaf. When she was walking up the steps, her deep black eyes fell onto Kankuro, she was unsure what he was staring at. She carefully walked closer to her and heard him whispering Gaara name. She wasn't sure what got over him at the moment.
She walked up behind Kankuro and placed her arm around his shoulder, mostly resting on the scrolls he carried now. "Hey puppet boy, haven't I always told you that its not nice to stare?" She lowered her arm from his shoulder and pushed past him. Her eyes traveled to where he was looking and spotted Gaara looking over the village. It was something that she found him doing a bit now. "Come on Kankuro, lets go see Gaara." She didn't waste no time of disappearing and reappearing on top of buildings and finally reaching top building that Gaara was on from behind. That was a nice work out. She smiled slightly. "Hello Little Brother." She watched him for a moment before coming up to standing just behind him. She knew Kankuro would show up in a matter of time. She knew how close those to had gotten, they was closer in age them her and Gaara.

As Gaara motionlessly continued to watch the village he saw what seem to have had been Kankuro and Temari. He didn't wave or smile, he just stood their with a feint discretion of joy that he saw the two of them. At his new rank he was in charge of giving missions to his shinobi and had a new one for both Temari and Kankuro. Gaara held his hands together behind his back as the wind blew through his red hair.
The moment the wind dropped down Gaara focused on the letter he read in his office from the hokage. The Jounin selection exam was coming up the following day and Gaara would go an attend, but he needed guards to come with him. He thought it would be the perfect time for the three to visit the leaf village. Gaara hoped the two siblings would come along, even if for a few days.
Then again Gaara didn't want to burden them with that trouble so he would most likely send a reply to his unavailability. When he stopped thinking of that a sudden familar pressence appeared behind him. Gaara honed his skills since his fights back then and needed to be sharper since being Kazekage. He figured it was Temari; since he could no longer see her in the village. He wondered if Kankuro would come too, being that she left him down there.
As he heard her voice he was pleased with himself, but showing no emotion to his joy baffled most minds. Gaara turned around slightly and looked at Temari, his piercing eyes still frightened most people since he didn't smile. He turned his body around this time, the silence that came after she spoke would make you wonder whether he wanted to speak. "Temari, it's good to see your in one piece. What brings you here?"

Kankuro's staring session at Gaara was interrupted by his sister's voice as she picked on him, like normal. "Hey Temari, I'm not staring, I'm looking...there's a difference." He said with a smirk. "I'm just trying to figure out what he's up to." He muttered, pointing to his brother atop the Kazekage mansion. Kankuro was about to simply look back at Temari and ask what she was doing when she suggested that they go and visit Gaara, and quickly took off to the top of the building.
"Oh geez, I was going to say the same thing..." Kankuro muttered, deciding to use the same method as Temari to get to the destination, only he wasn't as quick to do so, not feeling like wearing himself out or seeing the need to really hurry as he disappeared and reappeared on different rooftops on the way to the mansion.
Finally reaching the same building as the two, Kankuro strolled over, breathing a little harder than he'd liked at the moment. "Damn it, I think Crow put on some weight guys, I usually have no problem doing that." He muttered, being a little funny as the two should know by now that he carried all three puppets in the scroll. "What's going on?" He asked, catching his breath quickly.
The boy then turned to Temari and narrowed his eyes, "You always do that too Temari, always take off before telling me what the heck you're doing." Kankuro muttered, having a flash back of the many times she'd done the same thing before. "Anyways, What's going on Gaara?"

True Temari never really give Kankuro or Gaara a good suggestion to where she was going when she spoke her mind. She had always been like that for the most part and it was one of her weakness in the long run. Somehow tho she normally did pull a mission off without too much of trouble. She knew that either way her brothers would follow her no matter what. Even tho she was the oldest out of the three, she knew whatever she did her younger brothers would back her up no matter what, it was the bond of them now in the long run.
She crossed her arms over her chest and looked up at the dusty sky until Gaara asked her a question. She had to raise her eyebrow slightly, him addressing her first over Kankuro never really happened unless they was alone and she was being assigned a mission or something. She looked over the village watching the people in the distance run about their every day lives and young shinobi trying to keep up with their senseis. 'Thought I would come up and see what you are up to Gaara. I don't really think I need a real reason to see you every now and then. You are my baby brother."
She smiled at Gaara and leaned against the railing of the post with her back turned to the village. She watched has Kankuro finally caught up to her and she smirked slightly at him. "I didn't know your puppets could grow and get fat Puppet boy. Are you sure its him and not you?" She was joking with Kankuro at this point. She really never did know how to hold back her smart comments specially around Kankuro. If it was Gaara than she usually kept her mouth shut.
She looked around to each of her brothers, each of them was so different and yet their bond was what held them together. They had no one but each other now in their family and yet the village know grew to accepted Gaara has the Kazekage, she was proud of him and of Kankuro in his strange little way. "Besides Gaara, you seem to have something on your mind. Might has well tell us before we gang up on you and make you tell us."

It dawned on him as he watched both Kankuro and Temari, they haven't been together in a while; the three if them together. They seemed fine and he was pleased. He wouldn't allow any harm to come to them, or any other villager for that matter. He clenched onto his hand behind his back and just smiled slightly. He looked back at Temari and sort of sighed at what she said, but for some reason it put him at ease. "As long as you still do your duties, I see nothing wrong with you coming to see me. Maybe, I will journey with you on your missions to the Leaf and see some old friends. Then again, a kazekage's work is never finished, at least the villagers will be safe with me working round the clock."
He turned back around as his hair blew in the wind. He chuckled at what Kankuro said and how Temari answered. Those puppets were as important to Kankuro as any other thing he held dearly. He did wonder why he held them in scrolls though, maybe they did become to heavy for him. He let go of his hand and held it over his mouth as he let out another silent chuckle. "Maybe, you should train more if you've become weak. Gaara was still rough around the edges at making jokes, but he had no intention of making that sound like an insult.
He put on a stern face as he was partially worried for the well being on the village. Something dangerous might happen soon and he really didn't want his siblings involved. The Akatsuki, which he heard about recently in a meeting was on the move, and they were after the Jinchuriki. He was one of them himself and it made him worry if they would be able to capture him. He knew he would fight with all his strength, but who knew how strong these ninja's were. All of them being S-ranking nuke-nin, and the two of which he heard of in particular made him suspicious further. The demon shark of the mist, Kisame Hoshigaki, who was one of the seven swordsman of the mist, and his partner Uchiha Itachi. The brother of the ninja he fought during the chuunin exams, Uchiha Sasuke. He destroyed his clan and left his brother alone alive.
Besides that, their were eight more members who were in on this. Who knew which two would come after his shukaku demon, but he didn't want to have his siblings involved in this affair, if he were to lose. "Their has been some recent discussions about the Akatsuki on the prowl. It seems they are after the demon inside me and other ninja's who are hosts. It isn't known when they will come here, but I need the defense parameters around the village tightened up. One of the Jounin members have started doing this, but we need to check the rest of the village. I need you Temari, to head over to the leaf village and request help. I will send a messenger pigeon before hand, and you guide the ninja's back here. Kankuro, I need you to patrol the village. We might be attacked from under the ground and or sky. We need preparations completed. Let's not worry the villagers, so keep silent as possible while you do this. I will continue my normal duties and await their arrival, if I lose our first priority is to make sure no villager is hurt. Pursue me after reinforcements arrive. Gaara's look loosened up after the tension of holding all that info in came out. He really looked like a kage after saying all of that, and it even amazed himself.
