Kentora Neko
(temporary Picture until Mon finishes better one..You get the idea)
Type: Original
Age: 24
Gender:Female
Sexuality:Heterosexual (but is considering going Bi..)
Status: single
Interest: None
Face Claim: Original Drawing
Appearance:
Facial: Neko has sandy brown colored hair with dark brown tips which are roughly cut, falling in her face to hide a light scar above her right eyebrow. Her skin is of a tanned hue from her days lounging in the sun. She has an oval face with and elegant, feline bone structure; Including high-cheekbones, a brow ridge that is slightly slanted, an angled nose, and a gracefully carved jaw line. Her thickly lashed eyes are a freakish color of green that seem to glow even in the daylight, and are also bear the diamond shape characteristic of a cat(Kekkei Genkai). Her full lips are a light pink color and behind them, her canine teeth are lightly filed to further hint at her gift.
Body: Her physique is very muscular and athletic, with powerful legs and a toned stomach. She has a prominent bust, but lacks the baby-fat to give her hips any dramatic feminine curve, but she maintains the soft, delicate appearance that every woman has. She even has rather small hands to enhance this girly quality and small shoulders.
Apparel: Neko has a layered outfit compared to most. Beginning from her underwear, a dark brown leather tank-top caresses her from the bottom of her rib-cage to her shoulders. On top of the leather tank is a gold-colored metal breastplate that is attached to the thick leather by similarly colored clasps. To accent this article, two strips of gold satin drape around her arms and connect to the same clasps. Between her top and leggings is nothing but bare skin, save the strap of the pack she wears on her right hip and the white leather belt that has the sheath to her long curved hunting knife. She wears a pair of form fitting black pants that rest right at her hips and end around her ankles. She also wears the ninja wrapping and sandal combo, but she also wears shin guards over them so she can conceal a few more weapons. The hitai ate of her village is tied around her left leg, so everyone can see the three scratches on it. On her left arm, a leather armband is tied tightly to conceal the tattoo of The Kentora, her former clan, which is simply the kanji for tiger. On her forearms, leather bracers conceal her secret weapons: Metal blades that shoot out at flick of a wrist (see Weapons).
Neko also has a bit of an obsession with ribbons, it comes with being who she is. She has them tied around all her stuff but never in her hair. On her right hand ring finger is the crest of her family, a glowing peridot dead center surrounded by antique silver. Though its not clearly visible, she wears a vial of ashes around her neck, with the metal canister tucked into her bra.
Personality:
Remote Neko tends to be an introvert and only shares her story with two kinds of people: People who can empathize with her, and people who will eventually forget she ever existed. The latter only makes her even more isolated than before. This behavior is mostly due the fact that she irrevocably believes that she is a monster, and that she needs to be as far away from people as she can get until someone approaches her and tells her she is wrong. In her heart, she wants to be loved even if its only as a good friend, but she is afraid that her own nature will overwhelm her and she will thirst for the hunt.
Bloodthristy As part of the Kentora Clan, Neko naturally has a feline thirst for fresh kills, not necessarily for humans, just something living. When she finnaly grew into her Kekkei Genkai, the lust was so powerful that it consumed her for days. This is the nature that Neko fears the most, and she does everything that she can to hold it back and hide. It was the reason for the three scratches on her hitite.
Kind Neko has a very kind and nurturing nature to combat the more dark aspects of her personality. She generally loves animals and people and holds no judgments against anyone, despite any criminal act they have commited, since she considers herself the disgrace of the human race. In a sense, she is like a sweet kitten that just wants to belong and proven wrong, so she looks for an “owner” at every turn.
Laid back Like any cat, Neko loves lounging about in the sun, and enjoys the luxuries that life offers to the well established, and enjoys the simple pleasures life has to offer. However, since Neko is very poor, she rarely gets to enjoy them. This is not to say that she is lazy or likes to beg, she would never stoop so low as to get onto her knees for something she could live without, or could get in the wild. Her skills are exceptional, and her hobbies are just as impressive, and she knows this. Playing instruments and singing are her favorites among the hobbies and she often does a one ninja band to earn money and express deep emotions to anyone who will listen to her music. She isn’t shy around people she knows, and loves to have fun, but is a hard worker on top of that and tryis to avoid people she doesnt know.
Pridefull Neko’s pride, though a small factor, is something that puts her through more hardship then she should ever have to go through. She rarely wants to inconvenience anyone with her needs or desires, and therefore rarely asks for help, even when she really needs it. She hates being in big, modern cities because she thinks that everyone regards her as a dirty stray cat.
Passionate Music, Adventure, Harmony, the feel of the energy coursing though ones veins when you feel excited or impressive, The thrill of performing before an audience, Neko is addicted to those emotions and will do anything to feel them. Unfortunately, she feels the same way when she hunts...
History:
Neko was born into the elusive Kentora Clan of the mountains surrounding Iwagakure, who’s focus centered around the strength they gain from their natural environment. Thus, they preferred to live outside the city, watching and protecting the inhabitants secretly. Only the Tsuchikage knew of their secret guarding of Iwagakure. As the twin sister to the favored son of Kentora Hazuku, leader of the clan at that time, Neko had to keep up with her brother, Koto. In her younger years, she grew up around the principles of the clan; Family, Loyalty, Honor, and Sacrifice, but the center stone of the clan was the thrill of the hunt. The bond connecting the Kentora family was the legend of a tiger’s blood running through their veins. Thus, the common traits include diamond eyes in inhuman colors, claw like nails and fanged smiles, and more importantly, a thirst to kill something. Her training included memorizing the difference between the scents of animal and human blood, tracking both, and removing the obstacle of physical and mental hesitance. Like most of the members of her clan, Neko attended the academy of Iwagakure, along with her brother and beloved friend, Koto. They were so closely linked and complementary to each other’s personality that most in the city mistook them for a couple instead of siblings. Where Neko was introverted, Koto was extroverted. Where she was lacking in strength, he was the master of muscle. In fact, the only issues where they were fiercely divided on were the topics of their father’s neglect of Neko, The idea of taking a normal human as a spouse, and a certain oddity of Iwagakure, named Deidara.
Like everyone else in the village, Koto poked fun at the marked boy, Deidara, but Neko, who was immensely impressed by his gift, came to actually like the kid, and frowned upon Koto’s part in tormenting him. The kind girl went as far as buying gifts for Deidara on his birthday, then leaving them on his doorstep with a small clay tablet with the Kentora seal as a clue as who left it. One of which was an enormous box of fireworks, which she promptly took a picture of his expression when he found it and has kept it with her ever since. Koto warned her that her encouragement of his destructive and introverted behavior would only bring trouble, but she didn’t listen to him, and they never resolved the issue.
Both of the siblings excelled in the academy: quickly advancing to Genin and prepared to take on the Chunin exams at the duo’s age of 16 with the help of their young sensei, Denkuza. This is where Koto and Neko both disagreed yet again. Neko adored Denkuza, and often called him Denkuza no Danna, Her first master. Even though he was slightly older than she, age had no effect on the sense of belonging with him. Koto appalled this idea, saying that loving accidental ‘fresh meat’ was unethical and the Kekkei-Genkai should never be allowed to leave the clan’s control. Furthermore, Denkuza was nearly 5 years older than her, an age difference that he felt would stand in the way of any feasible relationship. Though they never argued about it, Koto and Neko’s opinions often rubbed against each other. Finally, the Chunin exams came about, and it was the decision that Neko and Koto would duel. When their father heard the news, there was a family sit down. Kentora Hazuku fiercely believed that Koto was destined for greatness among the Ninja and that his twin sister would stand in his way, Like Yin would stand in the way of Yang. Twins in the past had always been regarded as an omen of trouble and rebellion, but Hazuku was merciful enough to let Neko live, upon the command of his wife.
As Neko grew up, her father paid no attention to her accomplishments and dreams and gazed upon her coldly, and when it came to the Chunin exams, she knew what her father expected of her; Forfeiting her chance to become a Chunin for her brother’s sake. Koto was enraged that his father would deliberately rig the duel in his favor at the expense of his beloved sister’s chance to be there with him and a huge fight broke out between father and son that night. Koto pleaded with his sister to fight him fair and square, if not for her future, then for Denkuza, who put so much effort in training her, to make him proud. Hazuku threatened that if she did not forfeit her place, she would ultimately forfeit her place as his daughter. Then their mother got involved, threatening her husband that she would leave if he dared to hurt or cast off their daughter.(it was bad ><) Neko was the one who stood between them all, saying that the decision would be clear during the duel. With this in mind, Hazuku handed over two ancestral swords to them. The Black sword, Yang, went to Koto, and the white sword, Yin, went to Neko with the warning that Good will always triumph over evil
Next day’s duel was the battle of the ages. Instead of laying down the Yin-blade and bowing out, Neko fought against her brother. It was a LONG fight, coming down to raw skill with their swords. Just when everyone thought Koto was going to win, the girl pulled a trick she had learned from Denkuza and knocked the Yang-blade from his hand, caught it in her other hand, and pointed the Yin-blade’s tip at his throat. It was over, and Little-Neko won. Denkuza was very proud, Koto was grinning for days and both of the siblings were promoted! As happy as they were, Hazuku was steamed that she had disobeyed him and beat Koto. Thus Koto resented his father, comforting his sister by repeating the old mantra Good will triumph over evilTwo years later, Neko and Koto went on to become Jounin like their master and were content. Then the Kekkei-Genkai stopped Koto’s public life for a few days. In fact, Koto’s development came so hard upon his emotions that some feared his thirst for the hunt would get out of control. While her brother was trying to manage and harness his feral energy, Neko tried to ease his worries and help him, but found the best thing she could do was back away and let him be. Also while her counterpart was meditating, Neko finally kindled a relationship with her former master. It wasn’t any horrid love affair or strange happenings. It all started with Denkuza’s concern for Neko when Koto disappeared. From then on, Neko found herself going out with her confidant often, and his patience and understanding made her feel safe and secure whenever she was with him. A Few months passed in this fashion, then Denkuza sought out the Kentora household to ask permission to marry Neko, who was overjoyed and eager to accept.
Unfortunately, Hazuku wasn’t so eager. In an attempt to drive away the ninja, He lead Denkuza to where Koto was writhing in agony from his thirst and told him that Neko would be the same way soon. An utter monster, he called her, and proclaimed that the Jounin sensei’s devotion could never hope to last against the bloodlust of a Kentora Clan member. Neko was scarred by the slander, fearing that Denkuza would change his mind because of the revelation. Surprisingly, the young suitor stood by her side and said he would never leave. Koto wasn’t deaf to the situation, either. After Hazuku called Neko a monster, Koto rushed at his father, spitting curses and the like as he attempted to sate his hunger. Suddenly his emotions turned to Neko when he witnessed the affection and loving words his sensei lavished on her. (It was a mess) In an abridged version, Koto was on the brink of loosing his mind.
In the days that followed, Denkuza kept Neko away from the tumultuous household and bought an apartment big enough for the both of them. But happy days would soon come to an end. Koto broke free of his father’s enclosure and began killing people at random, trying desperately to quench his thirst. Since Denkuza was his sensei, the Iwagakure guard sought him out at the apartment to find a friendly link to Koto that could get him to stop. Neko overheard and rushed out to stop her brother. Koto had no reason for killing the people of the village, and knowing this, he intended to leave it all behind him and become a mercenary for hire, but he wasn’t going to allow their father to hurt Neko anymore. He also wasn’t going to allow her to stay in the village with her fiancé. He offered the idea of becoming apart of an elusive organization called the Akatsuki and doing whatever they wanted. Neko refused, and Denkuza caught up with them. In an effort to soothe tensions, Neko offered the idea of a bet. If Koto won a duel, then Neko would go with him and leave her life behind, but If Neko won, then Koto would have to return to the village and repent. The fight that ensued was one of the bloodiest in Iwagakure history. Most in the Village referred to it as the Battle of The Two Tigers afterwards. Koto technically won the duel, but just as he began to drag his sister into the wild, Denkuza madly picked up the Yin-blade and attacked his pupil. In the end, Koto delivered a deathblow to Denkuza.
In that moment, Neko felt a bloodlust she had never felt before, and she took her revenge, sinking her now long fangs into the neck of her brother. The kill was almost instantaneous. In his last moments, Koto both forgave Neko and asked forgiveness for his actions. whispering the old mantra, Good always triumphs over evil He handed her the Yang-Blade, claiming that it never truly belonged in his hands and died. Still in the bloodlust, Neko picked up her lover and madly rushed into the city, trying to save him. Just as she got to the hospital, Denkuza reached up, caressed her cheek, kissed her bloody lips, and told her that he would see her later, then died.
The people of Iwagakure feared that such a grievous blow to Neko’s emotions would drive her crazy, so they put her in solitary confinement. There, she raged, screamed, cried and mourned for days until her bloodlust died down, and she returned to ‘normal Neko’ When she was released, She returned to her family home to find it abandoned, with all of the hitites laying on the table with a note addressed to Neko from her Father. The Curse of Yin and Yang has come upon us. We hereby dissolve our ties with you for the murder of my son. You, Neko, are charged with returning our ninja headbands to the Tsuchikage and to tell him that the Kentora clan has left Tsuchi no Kuni forever. You are alone Yin-Neko. To the end, Neko obeyed her father’s wishes and delivered the headbands, and the note to the leader of Earth Country. Then, with nothing more to tie her to Iwagakure, she took her life’s savings, sold the apartment and all her belongings (save a few), bought Deidara a final birthday present and left it on his doorstep. She then left Iwagakure, scratching out the symbol of the village with her own claws, even though the Tsuchikage told her she had done no wrong. She was 18.
A few years later, she heard a kid named Deidara bombed Iwagakure, but since it wasn’t her home anymore, she silently thanked the boy for releasing her from it’s haunting past. Since then, Neko wanders around, completely homeless; A stray cat in the wide world, looking for some place where a monster can become a human again.

There was quiet thud as a pair of sandals hit the forest path. The wind blew fiercely, a storm rolling in as a woman darted up the mountain paths, searching desperately for the rouge-nin Where the Hell is he?! Behind her, she could hear the quiet thuds of her master’s-now lover’s- feet trying to keep up with her, trying to stop her from going.
“NEKO! GET BACK HERE! THIS IS INSANE!” He shouted to her, his voice a mix of commanding and soft pleading.
“Im Sorry, Denkuza no Danna, I’ve Got To Stop Him. He Won’t Listen To Anyone Else!”
“He Won’t Listen To Anyone Period, He’s Lost His Mind! Neko, If You Go, I Risk Loosing You Both. Don’t Make Me Have To Face The Heartache Of Loosing My Pupils, More Importantly, You!”
Neko forced herself to slow her pace and allowed him to catch up to her. He didn’t understand that she wasn’t in normal mode, she was in a state of makeshift Hunting mode. She was hunting her brother, who had just gone on a killing spree. This was nuts! What was Koto Thinking? Five dead now he’s going for their father? Was this some sort of revenge? Ugh, Koto, please don’t run away. I know you haven’t lost your mind, we can work this out! There has to be a reason! suddenly, a thought hit her that Koto might be angry about her engagement to their old master. She glanced at her confidant, her safehaven and said clearly, “I cant Risk Loosing You Either Denkuza-chan!”
Her feet flew madly, leaving her master far behind her, her nose seeking out her brother’s familiar scent. As if the renegade heard her thoughts, Neko sensed the scent was getting stronger... closer, he was slowing down. Finally, Neko’s green eyes found her brother and she dropped from the trees. To her supprise, He wasn’t running at all, he was walking... Calmly. Once he was in the middle of the plateau, Koto stopped, his back turned to her and dropped the body of a badger to the side. Neko watched closely, then after a moment called out , “Koto-Kun?” A flash of Lightning startled her eyes, and the ninja’s outline was briefly visible in the yellow light. He turned and smiled, his mouth and lips stained with fresh blood, his long teeth gleaming awfully. With a single finger, he beckoned her to join him in his bloodlust.
