Neko walked coldly through the forest, her senses on alert for innocent passers-by. She had just left Khonogakure with her supplies and planned to enjoy herself atleast in one small way. The last thing she needed was some kid, or puny villager to step on a twig and set her off. The thought however, didnt rightly fit with her posistion. She was atleast a few miles away from any known habitations so she should have been in the clear for her little project.
She found a clearing, looked around and quickly plopped down to begin making explosives for this personal holiday. She took a few paper bombs, cut them open and poured the mixture into a small bamboo cask she had bought. carefully,She took a large fuse and stuck it towards the bottom of the mixture and sealed the cask, making sure the fuse stck out a good way from it. She then tied a thick stick to the cask and stuck the other end into the ground. Voila, she had make a makeshift bomb. She then turned to the rather expensive bag of clay she had bought for this little party and plopped down at a safe distance from the cask. Neko tore a chunk of clay from the block and began to play with it in one hand, making a pitiful excuse of a bird and setting out to the side. With the other, however, she prepared to light the fuse. She raised an eyebrow at the little cask, then decided to get behind a tree, carring her belongings as she quickly lit the fuse and scurried for cover. She hastily sat the little figurine outside the tree's protection for the upcoming bake then covered her ears. It didnt take long for the fuse to reach the volatile explosive, and there was a thunderous BANG!
Debris flew past her shelter and once the blast of heat was gone, she sighed, retrieving the little bird-which miraculously survived- and sat it on her knee, a small smirk on her face "Happy Birthday Deidara-kun"
