Appearance:

At first look sai almost seems harmless though he has a very uncanny resemblance to Sasuke, team 7's old member. His skin is extremely pale and he has short black hair to match his dark eyes. Though he is trained to show no emotion he constantly has a smile upon his face.

As for clothing Sai has two main outfits, the first he wears during missions is a black pair of three quater length trousers, wrapped at the thigh with bandages aong with a smal pouch containing kunai and throwing stars. On his torso is cropt black and gray long sleeved top, with red lining. His hands are covered by plain black gloves though the index finger is missing.

His second outfit usually wore for casual outing is a dark purple smock with matching bottums teamed with a plain pair of shinoni sandals.

Personality:

Sai was trained to mask all his emotion's with as an ANBU root, though it every situation he is seen to have a constant smile upon his face. He is also rude and doesnt understand what the effects are to everything he says.

Sai is considered loyal and he does what he is told considering who it is told by. Sai is also observant and always focusing on the goal of a mission, being an 'artist' he pays attention to detail enabling him to see through many tricks.

Sai is also a talented artist, though it is tilted due to his lack of emotion After spending time with team 7 he feels compassionate about being more social by reading books which usually ends with him insulting someone and being confused as to why they are hurt or angry.

History:

One of many nameless orphans recruited into Konoha's secret branch of the ANBU, Root, Sai was raised and conditioned to have no personality or personal connections. The name "Sai" is given to him for the purposes of joining Team 7. His actual name is currently unknown, even to himself. Sai was recruited as the newest member of Team Kakashi by Danzo, the commander of Root, to join Naruto Uzumaki and Sakura Haruno as a replacement for Sasuke Uchiha after his defection from Konoha.

During his time among Root, Sai met Shin, an older member of the same organization who took a liking to Sai's drawing ability. Over time, Sai came to think of Shin as an older brother and looked up to him. Eventually, his "brother" died of an unnamed illness, and Sai's Root training suppressed most of the memories he had for his brother. Before Shin's death, Sai was making a picture book that would depict all the opponents that they faced and illustrate the feelings that they shared for each other. Sai's and Shin's portraits are located at opposite ends of the book, and in the center pages would be a picture of both him and his brother holding hands. Shin died before Sai could complete the book, but on their mission to save Sasuke, Sai noticed that Naruto's face reminded him of Shin, and so while they were there Sai finished the picture.

~ Ink Clone Technique [Sumi Bunshin no Jutsu]; :: This clone, made from a small amount of ink, carrying chakra, is different from the ordinary Clone Technique in that it has actual substance and mass, making it difficult to see through. As a member of the Foundation, Sai is able to make use of the clone for missions involving surprise attacks, infiltration, and assassinations. However, experienced ninjas such as Orochimaru are able to see through this technique.

~Ink Flush Technique (Sumi Furasshu);::
By pouring some of his special ink into the ground, Sai can summon several ink snakes to strike from underground and restrain his opponents. Should the opponent prove strong enough to break the binds, the snakes can reform around the target, making struggling pointless.

~ Ink Mist Technique (Sumigasumi no Jutsu);::
Similar to the Body Flicker Technique, the user wraps their body in chakra-infused ink to hide themselves and leave the area.

~ Ink Transport Technique ; ::
Sai takes out a small piece of paper (that is extremely sticky on the back, like a post-it) and writes "transport" on it. Sai then places it on his opponent. By concentrating a small amount of chakra, Sai can transport to his opponent's location to either silently attack them or to reveal to his comrades the enemy's location

~Super Beasts Imitation Picture; ::
By drawing pictures on a scroll, the user can create life-size beings under his/her control. Since they are still made of ink, however, a single blow is usually enough to dispel them. The one exception to this are the snakes, which are used as living ropes to apprehend the target; they have been shown to be abnormally difficult to tear. It is unknown what sort of attack powers they might have, but it is certain that if they serve no other purpose, they can be used as excellent distractions.

The drawings can also be used to hide and deliver messages

Along with Basic Jutsu.

Sai walked through the streets' of Konoha, it was almost unusual to be out alone since teaming up with team kakashi he was so used to hearing Naruto's annoying voice near his ear, it was nice. Sai stopped by a local bakery, he looked at the owner and studied him for a moment, the man was broad with narrow eyes and a fairly large nose. Sai was hungry though it took him a long moment to decide whether or not he would by something. As usual he put on his famous smile and walked to wards the man, looking down at a manju bun. " One manju bun please" Sai watched the man nod and pick it up with his bare hands.

the man's hands with stocky and hairy and he almost felt uncomfortable looking at them. the baker raised the bun to Sai but before he could pack it away Sai opened his mouth. "Can i have that one? assuming you haven't touched it" Sai smiled to wards the baker, picking it up himself he left the money on the side. "Thank you...uh..." he took a moment to think up an appropriate nickname, as it was the most social thing to do.

" Big nose" At that Sai began to walk off his smile still upon his lips as he bit down into the bun, not noticing the raging baker behind him.

All righteys, I might as well give on teh second judgement.

One, your jutsu aren't in the proper format. The template for jutsu can be found in the Rules&&Regulations board, under the "Rules" subforum. As well, you might want to include the common jutsu into your app, as because he's an ANBU ROOT member, he'd know them xD

Oh, and if you want a good theme song for Sai... "Capricorn [Brand New Name]" by 30 Seconds To Mars is pretty cool. ^^ It fits... sort of. xD and you can just include your credits into the "Extra Notes" section.

Second [or third, I guess, lol] you should cut back his history back to before he even joins Team Kakashi, because he hasn't officially joined up with them yet. Don't worry about it being short, because you'll end up adding to it as times goes on anyways. ^^ And you probably should have used LeafNinja for your history but because you've given credit I'll let it slide by.
