Appearance:

Ino has long light blonde hair which she usually wears in a high ponytail along with a single hair clip or when trying to catch someone attention she will let it down she also has a side bang that covers her right eye.. Her skin is almost ivory with rounded baby blue eyes. She is at an average height maybe smaller mainly around 5ft 3 -5ft 5 and weighs 46kg. Her body is slim and slightly muscular around the stomach and legs.

Ino is mostly seen in dark purple, she wears a royal purple sleeveless crop top which has a zip that trails up towards her neck, just under her chin. For bottoms she is seen a black skirt underneath another purple overall which buttons up mid way between her hips.

Upon her feet Ino wears a pair of plain black shinobi sandals. She also wears thin mesh netting around her knees and elbows and half her thighs are covered in bandages only just slightly visible past her skirt.

Personality:

Ino is an overly confidence girl and somewhat superficial always caring about her appearance or mocking the appearance of others, example, Sakura’s forehead or Choji’s weight, though she gets angry if anyone was to tell her that she was ever superficial. Though she can often seem rude, that is mainly due to the fact that she is not afraid to speak her mind.

Ino can also be very bossy and demanding when it comes to her team mates and friends but redeems that trait by the amount she cares for her family and friends espicially if they are hurt or upset. Ino also has a very bad temper and can be easilly upset when it comes down to insulting the way she looks.

She is a very intelligent girl and has a keen perception when it comes to considering her surroundings and figuring out how to use them against her opponent aswell as that she is an excellent knowledge in medical jutsu. Ino always has a plan B for many situations which will always come to down to her 'sexiness' which involves letting her hair down and flirting, unfortunately she hasnt had much luck with it so far.

Overall Ino is a nice girl and easy to make friends with, though she seems meanor bossy to her friends its just another way she shows how she cares even if it isnt the best way of showing it.

History: from Leafninja

Yamanaka Ino is a member of Team 10, with Nara Shikamaru, Akimichi Chouji and sensei Sarutobi Asuma. Ino is a friend and rival of Haruno Sakura, having first befriended her in the ninja academy where kunoichi were trained to use feminine traits to go undercover. Noticing Sakura was being bullied by classmates for her forehead, Ino defended her by scaring the bullies off with "poisonous" flowers. Ino is very deeply versed on flowers, as her parents are florists. As the girls grew older, their affections both turned to the same boy and they declared themselves competitors for the affection of Uchiha Sasuke.

Ino is introduced to the series as having a bitter and petty squabble with Sakura, jealous at how she was placed on Sasuke’s team. Her personality is viewed as domineering and loud, one of the reasons Shikamaru is reluctant to approach women. However, later, she is the one who leads her team into protecting the lone Sakura from a vicious assault by the Sound Trio; Dosu, Zaku and Kin. Although the combined efforts of her team failed to keep the trio at bay for long, it bought Sasuke enough time to recover and dispatch them after dislocating Zaku’s arms. Noticing Sakura had sliced her hair off to free herself during the handicap struggle, Ino offers to trim her hair and make it look presentable. While taking her aside to do so, she also growls about showing off in front of Sasuke, becoming even more frustrated when Sakura replies that she simply took the initiative.

Despite their brief display of bonding, fate once again tore at them when the random selection machine pitted them against each other in the Chuunin exam preliminary rounds. The two fought fiercely, reflecting on their changing status. To show their dedication, they both put their forehead protectors on in the traditional manner, going at each other for a second time. Things seemed bleak when Ino taunted Sakura about having no unique moves to use, then used deception as she cut her own long hair off, secretly using her chakra to turn her sliced strands into rope to tie Sakura down to ensure an accurate mark for her signature technique, Shintenshin, which would suppress Sakura’s personality and allow Ino to control her body. However, when Ino wandered into Sakura’s mind, she encountered a repressed version of Sakura’s true emotions, the "Inner Sakura", which forced her out. A double KO ended the battle as both of them collided with simultaneous blows.

Ino later showed up as a spectator for the exam’s finals. She and Chouji watched on as Shikamaru surprisingly gave up his match. Chouji foresaw the event, but Ino was blindsided by his choice. A short time after Ino was trapped under Kabuto’s mass sleeping spell and was unconscious for most of the Sand and Sound invasion. She also played a small role in giving Chouji some encouragement before the rescue mission that he and Shikamaru were given, mostly on girls and his weight. This would mark her last main appearance in part 1 of the manga.

The anime-exclusive episodes gave her some more screen time. Ino was on hand with her usual team to apprehend two major criminals, the Legendary Stupid Brothers, stopping them in their tracks with a more potent mind-controlling skill learned from her father. Ino also joined Anko on a mission to investigate rumors of a sea monster, but ended up a damsel in distress for a large part of the mission, coming through at the end to cause the incapacitation of Tsurugi Misumi by tying his own arms around support pillars, which then gave way and crushed him beneath. A particularly humorous episode had Ino posing as a princess, who was courting another person of high status, but had gained weight and required Ino to play her part. Naruto joined the mission, adding to the confusion as a more seductive and flirtatious version of the princess. Eventually, the princess revealed herself, causing her suitor to admit he preferred "big-boned" women.

Ino reappeared in the second part of the manga, now with an outfit change and new hairstyle. Though brief, her spotlight would return later when it was revealed she had been trained in medical skills, the same as Sakura but most likely to a lesser degree, seeing Sakura’s tutor was one of the best medics in Konoha’s history. However, she was devastated to find that her former team leader, Asuma, had been fatally wounded by Akatsuki’s zealot, Hidan. His last words to her were for her to never give up and lose to Sakura. Ino and her teammates would then set out to hunt down Hidan. The team along with Hatake Kakashi located Hidan and Ino did her part to help combat Hidan's partner Kakuzu while Shikamaru fought Hidan one on one. Shikamaru eventually succeeded in taking out Hidan and soon Kakuzu was brought down, bringing some measure of revenge for her former sensei.

Undoubtedly, Ino’s greatest tie to any character is Sakura, considered her rival for Sasuke’s affections, despite the fact that revenge is all he lives for. Some people have paired her with Shikamaru and later Chouji upon Shikamaru’s stronger link with Temari. A few even think there may be something between Ino and Sai, though this is most likely due to Sai's strange approach at offering pleasantries, choosing to say the exact opposite of what he really feels. Sadly, like most of the females in the series, Ino suffers a lack of exposure and character development.

Mind Derangement Technique [Shinranshin no Jutsu] :: Shinranshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which is used to confuse the targets body into attacking a nearby ally. The ninja will form the needed hand seal and then send their spirtual energy of confusion at his opponent. Though the opponent is mentally aware of his action, he is unable to stop his body from carrying out the attack.

- Mind Body Change Technique [Shintenshin no Jutsu]:: Shintenshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique originally used for spying. The ninja forms the needed handseals and then projects their spirit out of their body into their target. This can be another ninja or an animal. Unfortunately the spirit flies in a straight line at a slow speed. If the target moves and avoids the incoming spirit, the ninjas body falls lifeless until the spirit can find its way back to the body several minutes later. Because of the risk involved, the ninja must be very careful. When used in conjunction with a binding technique the chance of success greatly increases.
While inhabiting the body of their opponent, the target still remains in their mind but their mental processes are forced aside as the ninja takes control. However if the target has strong mental fortitude, they can overpower the intruder and force them out of their body. Also while in the body of their target, if the ninja takes sudden physical damage, their original body will be hurt as well.

- Mystical Hand Technique [Shousen Jutsu]:: Shousen Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by medical ninja. This technique allows the ninja to heal wounds by focusing their own chakra to their hands. If the ninja is highly skilled, they are able to heal more critical injuries. Highly skilled medical-Nins such as Tsunade can use their techniques to perform surgeries that otherwise would not be possible

- Clone Skill [Bunshin no Jutsu] :: Bunshin no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. The Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja without substance. The copy resembles the ninja in every way. This clone can function as a distraction or as means to confuse one's opponent. As soon the Bunshin gets attacked or comes into contact with an opponent, it will disperse

- Transformation Technique [Henge no Jutsu] :: Henge no Jutsu is a ninjutsu technique which every ninja learns at the Ninja Academy. Henge allows the ninja to transform themselves into any person or object. This allows the ninja to move with stealth or to trick their opponents

Art of Substitution [Kawarimi no Jutsu] :: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themself with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack.

Ino leaned against the counter and began to fiddle with the petals upon the pot of white lilies that stood in front of her. “Jeez business is slow today” with that she stretched out and let out a loud yawn before looking around the shop, many of the flowers had yet to bloom mainly because it was just ending near winter.

Ino seemed to start to drift off before she heard the footsteps walking towards her; quickly she shot her head up. “Welcome to the Yamanaka flower shop! How may I help you” her voice jumped a little too high before slowly turning back to normal. It was one of the villagers, one Ino had seen around, or maybe she did she just didn’t bother to remember faces. Can you recommend any flowers to give to a young lady.” Ino smiled towards her costumer. “I sure can! Though unfortunately many of our flowers haven’t yet bloomed so they are not at there prettiest.” She rubbed the back of her head nervously before turning gathering two different types of flowers that compliment each other well.

Ino wrapped them up delicately before handing them over to her costumer who gave her the money with a kind smile. She waved him goodbye before slumping back down on the counter resting upon her elbow. “Now what?”

One eeensy weensy tiny little thing:

I'd like to see a touch more in her personality. It's kinda short, to be honest. Just elaborate on some of the points you put out and maybe add a few things such as likes, dislikes, and any fears you might like her to have. Also, you might like to add that she can be pretty flirty at times, too... Yeah. Chuunin exams. Neji. s'all I have to say.

Other than that, the rest is sufficient enough, though the appearance would be a lot nicer if it were longer, too.

Still would like to see a little more in the personality, as it's still pretty short. Try to elaborate on more of the points... I don't really know how to put it any other way. Something more or less along the lines of Nami's personality, as you had a pretty good description there. i.e., the first paragraph of her personality:

Nami can either be too trusting or not trusting at all, her mind tends to jump back and forth, some days she prefers to be open other days she prefers to keep more to herself. Though if your willing to talk to her for awhile she will be willing to try to warm up to you.

Technically all you're talking about is that she either trusts you or doesn't trust you, but then you elaborate into detail about how she jumps between both, how she's really trusting one day and then much less the next, and the fact that if you talk to her, she'll warm up to you. Kind of like that with each of the points. ^^
